Luxury Lakefront Family Retreat at Smith Lake

Welcome to Mossy Rock! This 4 bedroom/2.5 bath lakefront home located in the private, gated community of Point William boasts beautiful lake views from every room. You can relax and enjoy all of the amenities of lake living while nestled within the luxury walls of this custom home. The kitchen, located on the lake level, comes fully stocked with everything you might need - down to a coffee bar with a Keurig and regular coffee maker. The kitchen opens up to a calming living area with full water views, a dining table for 8, and a small game table for family game night (games included in living room closet). There is also a half bath on the lake level. Off of the living/kitchen area is one of 2 decks to enjoy. This top deck includes a brand new Pitt Boss Grill for your use. The lower deck includes another outdoor living area complete with a gas fire pit and an outdoor dining area to eat dinner under the stars or to enjoy a sunrise breakfast. The master bedroom is located on the main level through the front door and includes a seating area to read a book, or enjoy a morning coffee. Relax while feeling the breeze through the double French doors that open to an expansive view of the lake. The guest level (3rd floor) houses two guest rooms ā€“ one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. This floor has a shared full bath with double vanities. The top floor (the lookout) includes 3 twin beds with 3 trundles. The cozy corner of the ā€œlookoutā€ has 3 beanbags and a TV for kids to snuggle in for a movie before ending the day.

With only a few steps to the lake and private double slip boat dock, you can enjoy 2 yolo boards, a Kayak, and 4 recliners while soaking up all of the fun and sun. Once you are done playing in the beautiful waters of Smith Lake, take time to stroll to the neighborhood saltwater pool and pool house that sits atop a bluff overlooking the lake. Just down from the pool house is a new fire pit for community use.

While we love to share our home with you, we do keep some personal items on hand. As such, the refrigerators and pantry contain some food items. We will leave plenty of space for your needs in both fridges. Help yourself to anything you find, but please take home what you brought. If you have Verizon phones, like most places on the lake, they will not work unless connected to Wi-Fi at the house and even then, maybe only messages will work. You will have no issues with AT&T! Our Wi-Fi has been incredible ā€“ and we have had no issues connecting and watching all 4 Roku smart TVs. Please respect our no party or event policy. As much as we love our fur babies, please no pets during your stay.

Family Vacation

We had great week with our family in the home. The kids especially enjoyed swimming off the dock, Lilypad & the paddle boards. The home is beautifully decorated and clean. It had everything we needed!

Loved everything about this property!

This was one of the best rental experiences Iā€™ve had. House was very clean, and just as described in the listing. The dock was great and had plenty of room for everyone to hangout. We loved the location on the lake and swimming area. The hosts answered all my questions immediately and were extremely accommodating. We canā€™t wait to go back!

We had the best time!!!

This home is perfect in every way!! We enjoyed our time together as a family that was much needed. Ashley was so easy to talk to and very accommodating to our every need!! We hope to return again very soon. My husband and I have decided we would love to spend our retirement here on Smith Lake!!!

Beautiful property!

We are a family of 6 with teens. We had friends join us for a week at this property. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The communication with the owners was excellent. The home was decorated nicely and the beds were very comfortable after a long day in the sun and out the water. We hope to definitely rent this home again!

Mossy Rock

The house was beautiful and extremely clean and well kept. Access to the dock was minimal as far as stairs. House does have 4 levels so prepare for a leg workout inside. Owners were extremely helpful and provided a welcome guide ahead of the trip that had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful home!

Lovely home on beautiful Smith Lake

Large and lovely home on the water was perfect for our family! Beautiful property is secluded within a small gated neighborhood that offers a community pool as well as the crystal clear waters of Smith Lake. This home is beautifully, but comfortably decorated with plenty of space for everyone! We especially enjoyed the outdoor decks & grill. Children loved the provided Lily Pad as well as swimming in the lake and paddle-boarding. Highly recommended if youā€™re looking for a place at Smith Lake to relax and make memories with your family! Wonderful Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving trip! The house is gorgeous! The views were so beautiful. The mattresses are to die for. LOL. The "bunk" room was actually perfect for our 4 teenage boys. The neighborhood is very friendly and private. Ashley and Willie made sure we had everything we needed and were super responsive. We will definitely rent again! Thank you for everything!

Lovely Fall Break Retreat!

This lovely house is in a unique upscale gated neighborhood. It's beautifully decorated, very comfortable and lots of fun! Ashley is friendly, attentive and accommodating. We had the best time hanging out on the dock, swimming and playing on the YoLo boards. In the cool Fall weather, we especially loved the gas fire pit which provided a very satisfying spot for early morning coffee, family togetherness and star gazing in the late evenings. The Pit Boss grill is easy to use and made for delicious meals. Beds are clean and very comfortable. Pretty much everything you could wish for and more. Smith Lake is truly a treasure...we will definitely be returning!

We had the best time!! Beautiful home. Our kids enjoyed playing off of the dock and had lots of fun in the kids room upstairs. Kitchen was nice and easy to cook in. We enjoyed our weekend and made great memories.

Family Weekend lake trip

Just want to tell everyone what a wonderful family weekend we had at your beautiful Lake Home!!!! The accommodations were excellent and the place was immaculately clean.
