Within a 3 minute drive, there are restaurants, a grocery store & water sports. Our Sugar Fields Holiday Home is suitable for couples or an individual in need of a relaxing break.
The apartment has an open plan kitchen and lounge area. Separate bed room, & a small garden with loungers & BBQ. Beautiful, comfortable and affordable.

We offer flexible check in & check out whenever possible.
The apartment is located south of the island by the Caribbean Sea where waters are generally calmer than our Atlantic sea beaches.
From the comfort of your apartment you can enjoy a relaxing holiday or a fun packed adventure.
We provide a restaurant directory, taxi numbers and a long list of activities available on the island.
Although the nearest beach is a 10 minute walk, the best way to explore the neighborhood & island is by hire car. We can recommend a service that will offer a discount.
Please note: Access to the apartment is via a side path and stairs.
Sadly, not suitable for elderly guests or guests with health or mobility concerns.

A Real Gem

We highly recommend this lovely, clean, comfortable, well-appointed apartment. We lacked for nothing, and Tony and Alyson are super. The apartment is private and quiet, with a beautiful view of the bay. Should we have another opportunity to visit Antigua, this is where we will stay!

Great spot for a quick trip!

Tony and Alyson were wonderful hosts from communicating in advance to meeting me upon arrival and getting me set up in the apartment! While I wasn’t there for much time due to events nearby, it was quite comfortable and functional - with a nice view of the bay as well! And it was a short walk to restaurants, the beach and nearby resorts as well!

Excellent place for a couple

Tony & Alyson are excellent host. There when you need them and not when you don't. Home is just as described. Location is close to several great beaches and several restaurants. We stayed for 10 days and enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely would stay again.

Antiguan vacation

It was a joy staying there. The view was incredible, I could look out from the kitchen area and see the beach which was breathtaking. It’s very clean, tidy and quiet. Tony and Alyson were perfect hosts, they were on hand to help with anything I needed. I will definitely be contacting them again in the near future for accommodations on my next trip. Averill

A true sancturary

We had a wonderful two weeks here with Alyson and Tony the consummate hosts. They have thought of everything that you could possibly need and more to make our stay complete. The views from the home are breathtaking and no need to visit the rain forest as the garden has a plentiful array of hummingbirds feeding everyday from plants on the balcony. The nearby beaches and restaurants are wonderful and all within walking distance. Would not hesitate to recommend this for anyone considering staying in Antigua

We stayed here for 3 nights while we were living on the island to have a nice place to come back to after our beach wedding. I was a little nervous beforehand about the accomodations because the price was so good, but we couldn't have been more impressed. Alyson and Tony were the best hosts we have ever encountered. The apartment was beautifully decorated with an amazing view, perfectly clean and with more amenities than we could have imagined. Walking distance to one of the best beaches on the island. Can't recommend it enough!

My daughter and I stayed here for 11 glorious days. I can’t tell you enough how adorable this little place is. Every morning when you wake up you will be in awe of your view! It’s spectacular! It’s cozy and just like the pictures show. We walked to several beaches within 45 minutes. One thing I will say is the walk up and down the hill isn’t easy, the roads are bad but do not let that scare you off. They have a driver named Harvey that we used all the time. He would pick us up at the beach and bring us home. He is the BEST! Car was clean and air conditioned and he is super super reliable. He helped make our trip awesome. Alyson was super sweet and helpful and a great host.

Jolly Harbour 2023

This property was everything and more of what was described in the listing. It is located about 1000 feet up the hill from Valley Road. From your front door you have this gorgeous view of the bay and yachts in the distance - Jolly Harbour is 2 or 3 km north. A very short drive to a very nice supermarket. The villa was very clean and cozy. Everything in good working order. Communication with the owner was timely - no complaints at all. It was a really quiet neighborhood. We had a wonderful 35 days.

Terrific view. A pleasure to wake up to it every morning. The room was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. A quick 10 minute walk away from the beach. Not a problem during the day. If you want to walk anywhere at night you’ll have trouble. It is pitch black and you’re not near any restaurants. Without easy access to a taxi or rented car you’ll pretty much be stuck inside after dark. But we loved it and if you plan right you can definitely get a lot of value from this spot.

Home away from home

This was my partners first time in Antigua (its home to me) and i could not have been happier with the decision to stay at the cozy apartment provided by Alyson and Tony. They were truly super host the views from the apartment are breathtaking and everything we needed and didnt think we needed were provided or offered to help make this trip the most enjoyable. Alyson went above and beyond to offer directions, contact info, insights and recommendations from affordable grocery shopping to car rental and excursions brochures where provided. The apartment is just as pictured and alot more spacious than I presumed. Everything was spotless upon arrival and all equipment where updated to provide evey means of modern day comfort especially when it comes to the hot weather. My only criticism was that i was not prepared on how steep atop the hill the home was located. I certainly wished i had an suv instead of a car. So future visitors please take note and make sure you get an all wheel drive rental suv or truck. I cannot wait to go back home and I will be sure to check in with Alyson and Tony for my next visit.

Stayed 9/26 - 10/1 I am an avid traveller and I've stayed at many Air B&B- type homes, but I have to say this property, by far, is one of the best kept homes I've stayed in. Alyson and her husband keeps an immaculate property. Both the outside and the inside of the home is beautiful, very clean and well-kept. They've stocked the property with every essential that you could possibly need, and more. The kitchen has all utensils for a simple meal, a water dispenser, and a magnificent view! We were provided with cleaning products and a bit of personal care products as well. Alyson afforded us with a flixible check in and check out (since there were no immediate guest checking in) and although she periodically checked on us to find out if we're ok, we had ultimate privacy. The view from the living area and kitchen is to die for! Just outside there is a grill and a small garden area for sitting. The beach is maybe a 15 minute walk, however the roadway to and from the property is steep and treacherous (you will need sneakers for walking there). Overall, our week at Alyson's was great.She was a wonderful hostess and the property was also amazing. I will definitely book here again!

Perfektes Appartement in super Lage

Alysen und Toni haben uns sehr nett empfangen und waren immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit.Das Appartement ist perfekt ausgestattet. Super, dass es Strandtücher gab. Alles ist sehr sauber. Die Lage ist ruhig mit schönem Meerblick und trotzdem ist man in 5 minuten in jolly harbour. Ein supermarkt ist dort ebenfalls. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.EstToni

Wow!!!

Tout était fantastique. Alyson était présente à notre arrivée, souriante et accueillante, elle confirme la réputation de gentillesse des gens d'Antigua. Le logement est grand et propre. Toutes les commodités y sont comme annoncé. La vue est splendide. Alyson nous a fourni des références pour les excursions et pour un taxi abordable. Le logement est situé à distance de marche ou en autobus de nombreuses plages toutes plus belles les unes que les autres. Le village de Jolly Harbour est à 15 min en autobus et 30 minutes à pied pour faire votre épicerie. Attention, il faut être en forme pour accéder au logement, la côte est assez raide mais pas trop longue à monter après une journée à se promener ou à la plage, mais ça vaut le coup pour la vue magnifique sur la mer des Caraïbes. Merci Alyson, tu nous a permis de passer une semaine vraiment formidable. Merci à Savena et à Harvey aussi pour leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse.

Located in a residential area, we are near to beaches & tourist facilities, yet sufficiently distanced to enable you to unwind & not feel crowded by other holiday folks. The bus stop is 5 minute walk. Once in town you can then look around or take buses to other locations & further beaches.
