Cowboy Retreat is a private unit within a larger building, rather than the entire house, and we do try to make that clear in the listing. We understand, however, that this may not have been what you expected when making the reservation. As for the noise from upstairs, we’re sorry it disturbed your stay. Because the accommodations are in a shared building, some normal foot traffic from other guests can occasionally be heard. We appreciate the feedback and will use it to make improvements.

We're also sorry for the inconvenience caused by the boxelder bugs — unfortunately, these seasonal insects can be persistent despite our pest control efforts, but we are actively working on additional solutions to manage them more effectively. We are looking into better ways to minimize noise and improve the overall guest experience.
