New to our program in 2022 - Beachwalk 196 offers a perfect Hilton Head vacation destination with golf & lagoon views, outdoor patio with a gas grill all within walking distance to the beach. Shipyard is a quiet gated community perfect for those looking to rest and relax. Beachwalk is a great spot for those who enjoy outdoor activities while on vacation: on site pool, short walk to beach with easy access, bike on the many secluded & shaded paths, play tennis at the Shipyard Racquet Club, or Golf at the unique 9, 18 or 27 hole options at the Shipyard Golf Course. All within minutes from the condo. Located just across the street from Beachwalk is the Sonesta Resort which offers food & beverage options. King in BR1, King in BR2, 2 Sets of Bunk Beds BR3 (4 beds) plus a Queen sleeper sofa in the downstairs living room. The unit is equipped with 5 TVs. Please Note: Fireplace is not intended for use. For larger groups - please consider another 2 or 3 bedroom unit on our program at Beachwalk to pair with your stay in #196.

Wonderful accommodations!

Great property, great location

Beachwalk 196 is a clean, well maintained property with easy access to the beach and all that Hilton Head has to offer. My family and I loved it. We would absolutely stay here again.

It is located towards the back of shipyard. The condo is about a 5 minute walk from the pool and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. We had no issues here!

Unit could have used a little more cleaning, back up batteries for the television remotes, pull out bed mattress definitely needs replacing. Oven did not work for us during our stay and no one ever came out to look at it.

It was a short walk to the beach (10 minutes with kids) but was fully shaded and easy to do. The pool was great, but we barely used it as the beach never felt crowded. Great location to go to restaurants, mini golf, grocery stores etc. Would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a place on Hilton Head.

Family Time

Nice clean property. Well stocked Lots of room while we had 5 members in this unit we had 2 other condos with a total of 14 family members; dinner 2 nights at our place and we had enough dishes and silverware space at the table for everyone … this was the weekend Helene hit maintenance out the next morning cleaning the whole property up . Definitely would come again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a good stay. Had no issues with the unit, but parking was a huge issue for my handicapped husband and I. Returned to the condo one night after dinner at 8:30 and could not find any available parking spots close enough to walk except 1 that was partially on pine needles. Since someone had their car parked there for 4 days, we thought it was ok. However, at 11:30, after we were in bed, it was ticketed and given 24 hours to be moved. We woke up at 9 the next morning to find it booted. Cost us $100 and ruined our last day of vacation.

We are very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with Shipyard Security during your stay with us. It is very disappointing to learn that you were booted and fined over such a minor transgression. You would think that they could at least knock on the door of the condo and give you a warning before actually booting the car and imposing a fine. It is well known that parking during the summer on Hilton Head is difficult and a little common sense could have gone a long way in resolving this problem without harm or expense. Also, Shipyard Security could have checked with dispatch to see who ordered the pass for the unit and easily determine that it was us (Seashore Vacations). A quick call or email to us with a warning about the car being parked in the pine straw and we could have (in turn) reached out to you in an effort to keep this from escalating to what it did. It is not unusual for us to receive "Noise Complaints" or notices of our guests being in the pool after hours. These are usually brought to our attention by the homeowner's association for us to follow up with our guests about so it does not happen again during their stay. I do not see why Shipyard Secuity could not adopt a similar plan instead of being so quick to impose and collect a fine. Again, I am very sorry that you experienced this unpleasant situation with Shipyard Security during your stay with us.

Lovely Rental

The golf course view towards the back, a few minutes walk to the pool which is very nice, a 15 minute walk to the beach on nice tree lined bike path. Bathroom by the beach were extremely clean each day.Chair rentals are available too. Extremely well maintained unit and all the property. Pretty place. We enjoyed all of it. Large table in kitchen was great... all 9 of us were able to eat together.

Well maintained as well, always new upgrades. Gracious owner. Great Mgt company, responded quickly to our request for BBQ propane tank, was delivered within a few hours. Looking forward to returning next year.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the experience was good. The layout and space was great and the proximity to the beach was really good. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The unit needs some updates. 3 out of 4 bathrooms did not have locks on the doors with the primary bathroom door not even closing all the way. The back door didn’t lock and only had a wooden pole to lay in the track to keep it from opening. The refrigerated either wasn’t cold enough or froze foods. The shower curtains needed replacing and there were some food crumbs on the floor when we arrived.

Two condos in 1 week stay

But Monday morning of our week we were awakened to construction noise next door. I contacted Seaside rental vacations and they let me know that 196 Beach walk was available. We got very lucky. So we Packed everything up and moved over to 196 beach walk. That condo was even better. Heidi was a huge help! If we had not been able to change condos we would have gone home. The noise was unbearable and it was not acceptable. It continued throughout the week even though we were told construction was not supposed to be going on.

Incredible experience - only one problem

This property is wonderful. They have literally thought of everything. It was extremely clean and well organized. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and helpful. There was unexpected freezing weather and a bathroom problem was fixed in an hour. The only problem was the King size mattresses in 2 of the bedrooms were sunk in completely on both sides of the bed and we had a very difficult time getting sleep. If this were fixed, we would absolutely plan to stay here again!

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the feedback regarding the king beds. The owners were down for a visit in January (2023) and purchased/replaced the king mattress and box springs in each of the 2 bedrooms with the king size beds. We hope to see you again in the near future.
