Other things to note:

* For dogs: We do not allow puppies (under 1 year old), German Shepherds, or Huskies.

* We do not allow cats.

* If bringing a pet, a pet fee of $75 per pet is required. Please message us to let us know, and we will send a request for the payment, or you can pay through the listing platform.

* The primary renter is required to sign the Renter`s Agreement before checking in. This document comprehensively outlines the rules, policies, and terms governing your stay with us.

* Propane Exchanges: We do not directly exchange propane tanks. During business hours, if our team is available, we may be able to assist with an exchange.

* Maintenance aside from emergencies will only be able to be tended to during business hours, 8am-5pm.

* Any request to host a small gathering that exceeds the standard occupancy limit will incur an additional $250 fee.

* All gatherings are subject to prior approval by management and must be disclosed before booking. Please note that visitors are not permitted to stay overnight

Cancellation policy
- We offer free cancellation or a 100% refund of the amount payable if you cancel 30 days before the check-in date. If canceling, we will charge a processing fee (to cover credit card processing and administrative fees).
Additional rules

1. If any issues arise during your stay, it’s essential to communicate with us promptly. Good communication between the guest and host is critical to ensuring a smooth and successful stay. You should respond to us (the hosts) within 24 hours when we reach out to resolve an issue. In certain situations, we may need to send our case manager to review the situation in person to fully address any concerns.

Maintenance aside from emergencies will only be able to be tended to during business hours, 8am-5pm.

2. It is a `must` to read the entire listing description and the house rules of our property. If, in this case, you DO NOT read over our listing description or house rules and are not comfortable with something that is clearly stated, we will uphold our cancellation policies.

3. No unregistered guests/visitors unless preapproved

4. Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
To respect our neighbors, outdoor amplified audio (including TVs and speakers), as well as loud gatherings, are not permitted during quiet hours. Please move any conversations or entertainment indoors after that time.

5. No parties or events unless previously organized in writing with the host. If there’s evidence of a party or event, there’ll be an additional charge of $200.

6. If bringing a pet:
6.1 We don`t allow puppies (less than 1 year old), German shepherds, or huskies. No cats allowed.
6.2 A pet fee of $75 per pet is required. Please message us to let us know so that we can send a request for the deposit.
6.3 Please clean up after your dog (pick up your dog`s poop)
6.4 No pets allowed on furniture or beds.

7. Follow state laws when using a fire pit. Please make sure not to leave fires unattended.

8. For noise complaints:
8.1 If we receive any noise complaints from neighbors, a security guard will be called out to the property at a cost of $85 to guests for the first call-out.
8.2. If security is called a second time during your stay, you will be charged a $250 fee and be removed from the premises with no refund of your stay.

9. Please be mindful of neighboring personal property, such as swing sets. Do not let children play on or use this without prior written permission.

10. No smoking anywhere in this house. If we find evidence of smoking anywhere in the house, you will be charged $250 for extra cleaning.

11. The Host is not responsible for items left behind. A $65 fee applies for return shipping and staff handling. Items not claimed within 14 days will be discarded.


Follow all check-out procedures:
1. Take out all trash

2. Wash dishes (or start dishwasher)

Note:
* A $200 extra cleaning fee may be charged if the home is left unreasonably dirty and requires more work than usual to clean (for example, mud on the couches). All damages will also be charged to the guest.

* Check-out time is scheduled for 10:00 am on the day of departure unless previously agreed upon with the host. If the guest is more than 90 minutes late checking out, the guest will be charged $100.

* Any costs incurred by the host as a result of a late check-out will be passed on to you.

* The Host is not responsible for items left behind. A $65 fee applies for return shipping and staff handling. Items not claimed within 14 days will be discarded.

* Please note that reservations made by local residents are subject to an additional review and approval process before final confirmation. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Just what we needed.

This was a good spot central to all the activities we drove to do each day while we visited. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our family of 6 and communication with the host was great as well.

Nice little house in a great location

The house was centrally located to Rapid City with easy access to Custer, Keystone, Deadwood, Spearfish, and more. Bike friendly with trails nearby.

Great location, nice extras

This was a great location. We really liked the near by Canyon Lake Park. Easy access to grocery stores and down town Rapid City. Good central location for lots of the western SD natural attractions. The owners have a lot of real nice touches to make your stay easier (simple things like basic cooking spices, a coffee grinder, aluminum foil and baggies for packing a picnic, etc.)

Everything was perfect about this place - location, amenities, especially the property managers. We had everything we needed for an extended stay. If you need to be in the Rapid City area for any reason, you should definitely stay here.

Great place

My wife and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary earlier this year. We enjoyed how cozy and carefully curated this property is. We had mule deer eating in the front yard.
