The Villa was very comfortable. It is decorated well, clean, and well stocked. Close and convenient to the beach.We did have an issue with the "keyless" entry but management was available by phone and was quick to respond.

Perfect getaway

We had a fabulous time down in perdido. The condo was perfect, right on the beach and had beautiful weather the whole time. Would stay here again.

Great week at the beach

Great property and even better location. We would stay here again. You cannot beat the closeness to the beach. We felt very safe staying here with our teens. It is a very family oriented area and the condo looks exactly as pictured.

Condo was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed our view from the property. Elevators are a little tough to navigate but nothing to complain about when you're at the beach.

Great stay

We had a great stay! The condo was a perfect size (spacious for a two bedroom), its was beautifully decorated, clean, and had everything we needed.

Room was overall not very clean and looked like a lot of things had been overlooked during the cleaning process. Keypad did not work when we arrived so I had to reach out to the host for assistance and they couldn’t help us so we had to get maintence up to the room to give us a key to use which we used the entire stay because the keypad never worked. Also, reached out to host for assistance upon arrival because there was only one roll of toilet paper for a 2 bathroom condo and didn’t receive a very timely response from host so also had on site maintence help us out with that as well. Maintence man was super nice and helpful

Unit was overall very Ill equipped. Provided very little to no essential items . ONE roll of paper towel, ONE trash bag, ONE kitchen hand towel. ZERO laundry soap to wash towels, ZERO hand soap in the bathrooms and kitchen, we had to run to store as soon as we arrived and we came pretty well prepared. Second elevator in building was broken leaving long times and waits in the morning to get down to the beach. Elevator is also very confusing to operate. Nice walk to the beach , and beautiful view is about the only positive. Very uncomfortable master bed. I ended up sleeping on the couch. Property management INSISTED on allowing pest control to come in early morning during our stay- requiring us to vacate the unit. I opted against this but was told “too bad”. There are many beautiful places to stay in Perdido- chose elsewhere.

Spring break getaway

The property is exactly as described in the photos and description. 2nd floor is nice as the stairs are quicker option than elevator. Kitchen is well-stocked and we did a fair amount of cooking during our stay. The unit was clean upon arrival with no surprises after a long drive from the Midwest. The finishes in the condo are more form versus function. Example, unfinished dining table is raw wood and difficult to clean. White sofa covers are nice but do show dirt easily. Overall pleased with our time and would stay again.

Amazing!!!

From the moment you walk in you see the ocean view! Everything in the condo is updated and so nice. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed for our week away. The primary suite was great. The bathroom is like a spa with the walk in shower and awesome bathtub. We loved watching the dolphins from the balcony every morning and evening. You are just steps away from the boardwalk to the beach! We plan on staying here every year for our annual beach vacay.

Family fun in the sun!

This was our first visit to this area. The condo was clean and beautifully decorated and maintained. The patio was huge with a fantastic view and easy access to the beach. We had no issues during our stay so we had no need for interaction with management or host. However, would have loved to have been able to walk somewhere for lunch or dinner, as there are no restaurants on or along the beach and it’s necessary to drive around to find restaurants. Overall a great place for a family vacation!

Communication

The condo until was great as well as the property. There is a major lack of communication with the property management company. On my 2nd night I found myself sleeping on the balcony due to a battery needing to be changed in the smoke detector I’m the bedroom. (It was up close to the ceiling and I couldn’t reach it} I had to call them 5 times.

Amazing Condo, Beautiful Beach

The condo is beautiful and the beach sand was white as Destin's sand. We were truly in awe. We had everything we needed and then some so thank you to the owners. As for the property itself, it was mostly families with younger children which was wonderful and peaceful. The only confusion which had nothing to do with the condo or owners is that the elevator situation is confusing. The elevator button to go up and down are on posts in the middle of the elevators and the elevator buttons are very hard to press. Also, we were told that we were staying in Villa Monarch at the Beach Colony Resort but a person who lived there said there was no such place. I believe that was a result of the VRBO company. It was quickly rectified so I give this a 10 out 10 and plan to definitely go back.

False advertising on bed size.

The unit was very nice. Clean. Great view. Our problem was we rented this unit because it had 2 queen size beds in 2nd bedroom. DID NOT. THEY WERE FULL SIZE BEDS. Most uncomfortable beds ever. Rolled to center in a hole. Good beds are important to us older people. Came home with sore backs. Terrible. They changed the description before we left, but wasnt any help to us. Beware of comfortable beds.

Great location for a relaxing vacation

The condo was in a great location with a view of the beach and one of the 2 outdoor pools. The finishes of the bathrooms were not amazing, but were good for what we needed. The 2nd bath is in need of an update though. The shower door was also off and i had to remount it when we arrived. Looked like the cleaning service had detached it and didnt know how to put it back up, so it was sitting on the floor, leaning against the other shower door. The overall condo needs a deep clean as well, as there was dust in many locations that dont get touched as often. Finally, the washer needs repaired or replaced. It would walk around the laundry room when spinning a small load, and even blocked the door from opening once. All that being said, the location helped to overlook the downsides and i would still go back. The unit just needs a little added elbow grease to update/clean it.

Great Stay! Room for Improvements, please read!

Perfect location! Would definitely book again. Security issue with a window and they sent someone within 3 hours to fix it! Kitchen is lovely, rooms and bathrooms are lovely and spacious! Important Improvements: 1. No blinds on the big window by walkway where everyone walks to the beach + sliding door. People were always looking up at us if were in the living room. Curtain in master bedroom is about to break off the remaining curtain rods and is also not a good curtain anyway. Let's a lot of morning light in. 2. Master bed is comfortable, but WAY too high. Not for my 6'4" husband, but I am 5'5" and also recovering from abdominal surgery and I wish I'd measured how high it is off the floor to tell you but it came up at least halfway over my stomach area. I had to use my arms to lift myself up into it. It was rough getting in and out of that to check on my child in the other room throughout the night. Even without the surgery, it would be hard for an average height woman I would think. Just want to make people aware of that if they are elderly especially. There is no way my grandmother could get in and out of that bed. I would suggest that this is made lower. 3. The rugs in the living room, dining, and kitchen hurt our feet a great deal. We wore slippers a lot to combat that. Would be nice if those were softer.

Response to issues during stay unacceptable

Kitchen was very sparsely supplied. Furniture/chairs needing attention/ repair in living space. No storage for clothes in extra bedroom with no chest of drawers or space to allow unpacking. And, only one luggage rack available to place one suitcase out of the way making it difficult to settle in and free up the living space for a week long stay. We were notified one morning with only about an hour notice - via text- that someone would be coming in to measure for blinds in the master bathroom. We had plans and could not be present. Our personal things were definitely moved to allow access to closets, etc - none of these things in the bathroom where they were supposed to be working- doors were opened that had been closed, suitcases opened that had been closed, personal things obviously had been gone through! Anything of value was thankfully with us and not missing. Southern Realty’s response was unacceptable. The responses we received questioned that what we reported was true. “IF your things were gone through” Not once was it stated that they would contact the blind company to be sure they were aware. We asked about changing the keypad code to the door so we would feel safer and the only response was “no need to worry….workers receive a temp code”. We requested it be changed regardless and there should have been some consideration for that. Overall, it’s a cute condo with a cute view and easy access to the beach. The response we received to issues was terrible!
