Nestled away on a quiet road you'll find a little slice of paradise on Lake Greenwood. Bring your kayaks and paddleboards! This lakeside cottage is off the main water. Very little traffic and calm water making it perfect for all ages and personal watercrafts.

This cozy cottage has it all! Be sure to grab groceries on the way because you will love the full kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Though you might not need to visit any local establishments, there are many wonderful places to eat and you can access them by land or "sea". Access the water by way of dock or swim ramp and enjoy with the provided floats and kayaks or bring your own vessel of choice! The cottage bedrooms are outfitted with cozy beds where you will dream of your next fun filled day on the water. Where do you want to hang out with your family and friends, will it be the outdoor covered patio overlooking the water or the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit right by the water?! The hardest decision you need to make is how long you want to stay!

First trip to Lake Greenwood

We have heard some good things about Lake Greenwood and decided to try a short trip. Even though it rained all lot we had a great time and will return often.

Enjoyable property and stay on a great spot on the lake. Quiet area. Nice deck in which to relax as well as a great dock. Very nice place to paddle board(brought our own) or use one of the provided kayaks. I tied up my waverunner to the dock with no problem. We also rented a boat and tying up to the dock was a breeze. Well equipped kitchen and bedrooms were quite comfortable. WiFi was a bit intermittent at times but didn’t interfere with our trip. We still were able to watch several shows each day on the Smart Tv as well as a movie one night. It rained several days of our trip - passing storms- so that could have been part of the issue. Owner messaged to make sure everything was going ok.

We had a good time here until our family decided to all leave the residence to go get food together. We weren't gone an hour and the cleaning lady had came in and took over. Even had the owner send me photos of our stuff that we "left behind". Now mind you. We still werent checking out until the next day. The owner claimed they werent watching on the Ring camera, but somehow knew that we left? Because the cleaning lady said she received word that we had packed up and left already so she came to clean. Their stories dont add up. I will NOT be staying ever again.

Cottage on the lake

This was a great place to spend christmas. They even had a tree and a touch of christmas in each room. Clean and fully stocked for our needs

Over all a nice stay

Only reason I didn’t leave all 5 stars, the grass out front seemed really tall upon arrival so there were a few ant hills hidden that my toddler got into.

Comfy, cozy and great water views

From the outside to the inside, decorated in a cute (not overdone) nautical theme. The house was clean with soft towels and comfy bed. Everything you could want is here. We loved watching nature from the covered back porch in the morning with coffee and dinner there in the evening. So quiet and we plan to return here this summer.

Great Christmas Getaway

I found this place to be peaceful, quiet, relaxing, and accurately described in the description of the listing. The home is well stocked, and clean! The fire pit was a huge hit when my son, and his fiancé visited. David, is a great communicator, and he, and his wife Meghan, went above and beyond putting out Christmas decorations for my stay. Definitely gave it a home feeling. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Overnight Stay

This property is exactly as described. It’s tranquil and cozy, and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy the place. Everything, from first communication to final check out has been superb. Highly recommend! Thanks so much for having us!

Great getaway

Our party included four adults - 2 mid 40s and 2 mid 70s. We found this location to be accurately portrayed in the photos and description in the listing. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen has many items that you might need for a longer stay: mixer, coffee maker that brews a pot and uses pods, pots and pans, mixing bowls, etc. A doggie dish and two blankets were provided for our pet during the stay. Soaps, shampoo, and hairdryer are included for you. Check in and check out were easy. The host is a great communicator if you have questions or concerns. We found the lake to be quiet and peaceful during our Thanksgiving stay. We would stay again.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at this beautiful place!! We chose this place for our birthday trip (our birthdays are 1 day apart) and we would definitely consider staying again!! The hosts are so helpful and thoughtful!! It was like a home away from home for us because the hosts have thought of everything that is needed!! Beautiful lake house

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation on this property. It was clear that the owners thought of every detail from having dog bowls for our pets, lake toys and a Keurig machine. The porch with a lake view was wonderful. We were looking for a property to bring our boat along. They have a sturdy dock in a protected bay. We will be returning soon.

Restful Stay

We spent the entire week just resting and visiting with our friends who also stayed in this lovely house. Everything was clean and well maintained. We cooked and lounged about the house, porches, and dock. Fishing was also good!

This home was perfect for a family getaway! Very clean and taken care of property and you are provided with all of the basic necessities! Wonderful views of the lake and a really nice outdoor hangout area. We loved it and hope to go back again!

Fantastic Anniversary getaway!

We loved the house and the location. Being able to bring our kayaks and paddle in quiet areas was fantastic. We both felt that it was a house that was easy to settle into and make our home for the weekend. We will definitely put this place on our list of places to return. If you do head this way for a stay, be sure to bring insect repellent. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals during our stay. The landscaping was really pretty. The bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable and this is coming from someone with back issues. We loved watching and listening to the birds and squirrels. The blue heron flying around and strutting through the yard were spectacular. What magnificent creatures. This was just the getaway we needed to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary!
