Great stay but a few issues

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful place, but the construction workers using the scissor lifts and were in the view of our windows and could look in. Not all windows had curtains especially the master bath windows. So we didn't get much use out of our balcony since they were outside it much of our stay. The ice maker wasn't working either. The golf cart was completely dead when we went to use it. So it took a while for it to charge as it was left uncharged upon our arrival.

We wish you would've reached out to us regarding the issue with the ice maker and golf cart. We could have sent our maintenance technician over to fix the ice maker. The golf cart should've been plugged in, our apologies, that was not the case. We will inform the owner about the lack of window coverings in the master bathroom. Hope you come back to visit again!

We just wrapped up a three night stay here. It was my husband and me and our two college kids. There was more than enough space for the four of us but it was cozy enough to gather around the awesome scrabble board in the living room. The view is wonderful because it mixes dunes and palm trees with the ocean. We usually stay much higher so didn’t know how we’d like this view but it was perfect. The second floor unit on the end was so convenient for coming and going. We have stayed in Beachside II and Westwinds several times but we found Beachside I to be much cozier and user friendly. The bathrooms appear to be recently redone and we loved all the room in the master bath. Beds were comfy and the unit cools down nicely. The stove is a little older but it works just fine. Access to the beach is easy and, at least during our rental, there were not 100 chairs pre set up to take up the whole beach like at Beachside II. We were able to take our own sand chairs down and pick our spot. Do remember to bring your own beach towels. We did not see this before we packed for the trip. The golf cart is brand new and is very peppy. Upon arrival we found that there was no power to the garage and the cart was dead. We messaged the host and got an immediate reply. Power was restored and It was charged and ready to go by the next morning. Would recommend this condo :)

Nice property- spacious and well appointed. Master bathroom is a garden tub with a shower. Water pressure was not good. Beds were comfortable. One bedroom with twins- could not use closet- beds were up against opening to closet door.

Great pool and beach area, well stocked

Great location with a really nice pool area and easy access to the beach. Private beach was nice as it wasn’t as crowded as other areas. Good layout in the house. Well stocked kitchen and lots of towels. Could have used more hot water for showers. We had a small group but had hot water issues several times.

We fell in love with our condo rental. It was so homey and loved the giant scrabble table game. Being on the 2nd floor was the perfect floor to be on. We were just a few steps down to the parking lot and perfect for going to the beach and pool.

Great place

Condo was exactly as pictured. We were 7 and had plenty of room and well stocked with the kitchen necessities., etc. Located on the 2nd floor so it was very convenient and quick to the beach. Beachside 1 was far less crowded than adjacent property so that was a very nice surprise. Loved the Sandestin community and having use of the golf cart was so nice and fun for going to the wharf. A Perfect week!

Great location, minor concerns

Pros: Great location and space. Enjoyed property amenities and golf cart. Perfect spot on the beach and access to Sandestin resort. Good communication and responsiveness from property manager. Cons: WiFi was terrible. Master bed mattress needed replaced. Hot water didn’t last for our family of five. Didn’t have the main gate entry code at check in.

Thank you Justin for the feedback! WIFI has since been upgraded and faster than ever before! The master bed support rails under the boxspring were dislodged. We have fixed this issue. Unfortunately the condo has a smaller short hot water tank so we recommend guests to stagger their showers so everyone can enjoy hot showers. We have upgraded to a new system from which guests will received information better and faster. We hope to host your family again in the near future!

So we were never able to use the golf cart which is one of the reasons we rented the property.

You’ll never stay anywhere else!

Because it is on the end of the building it not only is quiet but you basically have your own access to the parking lot! The coffee pot does k-cups or a pot-yahoo! Beds are super comfy and great choice of pillows too. The only thing that might need updated is the guest plastic shower curtain. Towels galore too! Perfect!

The unit is on the 2nd floor which is the beach access level and made it easy to go to the beach. The golf cart was in great condition and made it easy to go to Baytown Warf. The only downside to our vacation was there was a soft green seaweed outbreak while we were there. The water had cleared by the time we left. We rented a pontoon boat from Crab island Water Sports and had a great day playing in the bay.
