Mike spoke to me in 3 rd day of vacation, mentioned he saw some bugs, I immediately got my professional strength bug spray and sprayed house, in addition apprised this guest that we have all our properties sprayed monthly. Went on further to suggest not leaving bags of food lying around, opened. We did see guest occasionally after this, guest did not mention having any further concerns. Our exterminator has been in since this and made no mention of any concerns. We cannot fix a problem if we’re not made aware of one. Joe and Lisa

Barry, spouse and pet appeared to be genuine guests. This review took us completely by surprise. Guest reported to us early on he was not tech savvy, I offered to forward all VRBO info to him on his phone to make the transition into house easier. Barry appeared to appreciate this. 1. NO WHERE IN OUR LISTING DOES IT STATE SPA OR HOT TUB NOR DID GUEST EVER INQUIRE ABOUT THIS. 2. Guest suggested TV was completely dysfunctional. We've had over 200 guests in this unit over the past 3 years, NO ONE complained about the TV's and furthermore if they did, we would fix it immediately. There are 3 TVs in this cottage, you can't tell me they were all dysfunctional. AGAIN, we never had any complaints that the TV's weren't working. (tv's were fine after further review) 3. Guest suggested there were holes in screened in porch. The only tiny holes are from guest's dogs, we fix them as soon as we see the need. This porch is beautiful and one of the highlights of the property. Sorry the guest did not see the charm. 4. 50 bugs?? Would you stay at a place that has 50 bugs? OUTRAGEOUS!! If this guest said to us even once that there were bugs, we would've offered to place him and his family in another unit so we could get house sprayed. NO COMMUNICATION FROM THIS GUEST SUGGESTING HE WAS UNHAPPY. We are in the hospitality business and take every guest suggestion, criticism and positive reviews very seriously. We strive for excellence!! When I guest blasts us for items, we've never been confronted with it is very hurtful to us personally and catastrophic to our business. Please to anyone who reads this understand we are family owned and operated. We will do our best to make your vacation the best we can, BUT if we're not made aware of a concern, we're not going to be able to fix it!!! I'm waiting for this guest to request some type of reimbursement, that could be the only motivator for the negative measures he went through in this review. Sincerely, Joe and Lisa
