Fern Spring Cabin

Welcome to our cabin. As you move down the driveway, you will see stone walls, and rock landscaping. The cabin is nestled among the trees. The atmosphere we have attempted to create is one of peace and solitude. Solitude is refreshing; an opportunity to renew ourselves. Solitude helps us to appreciate things in life that we may have taken for granted; the friends, the past, memories.

We invite you to enjoy our wrap around porch, view nature at its best. Sit around the fire ring and relax. Indoor furnishings include furniture and kitchen cabinets made from Grandpa's barn. Feel free to take a walk on our cow-path road, and see our truly Amish country setting.

If eating out and shopping are on your list, East Main Kitchen in Baltic (10 minutes away) will satisfy your appetite. Sugarcreek, home of the world's largest cuckoo clock is fifteen minutes away. Berlin (30 minutes ) will allow you to shop till you drop.

We had a truly lovely stay at Fern Spring Cabin. The property is beautiful, well cared for, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, attending to every detail and making us feel very welcome. We would absolutely recommend this cabin and would love to return in the future.

Very very good. Everything you needed was there. Was decorated for Christmas. Had a nice warm feeling. Planning on going back in the fall to enjoy the outside amenities.

Love staying at this cabin. The host made it so welcoming at we felt right at home. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. Love the landscape. This place has all the amenities that you will need not matter how long your stay. Loved the wrap around porch. Loved sitting out there in the morning watching the birds and wildlife. I would recommend this place and will go back to stay again,

This was our 2nd stay at the Fern Spring Cabin and by far still our favorite cabin out of many. The hosts are so accommodative. The house is absolutely beautiful and clean with everything we needed. Itā€™s such a welcoming feeling for a getaway. We loved the holiday accents. We are hoping to stay again in the spring. Thank you Mary and Paul!

the water in the home could have been hotter. wasted water by how long it took to warm up, also. expected more coffee supplies, like other bnb's other then that, this place is perfect. loved the bed and sheets, pillows were awesome! kitchen is so functional and beautiful.

We had the best time. The cabin was perfect inside and outside. Quiet atmosphere, no distractions from tv's. Great for just getting together and relaxing. The other couple said that over the last couple of years I have picked some good ones but this one will be hard to beat. Thank you

The house is very nice. The fact there was no TV made it even better. We were truly able to disconnect and relax. We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit as well. All around, just a great place to stay for a weekend get away.

This was definitely one of the best VRBOā€™s weā€™ve ever stayed in!! So very clean and well kept! Inside and out! Decorated so cute, very cozy and accommodating!!! Paul & Mary were great hosts to work with and have done a phenomenal job with great attention to detail! We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back for another stay!

This was our first stay but definitely not the last. We arrived a bit early and everything was ready. The house is a wonderful layout. Everything clean and neat and ready for us. Loved watching the stars from the hot tub and the sense of peace, serenity and solitude as well as exploring the back roads. We have been coming to the area for years. Finding this new gem of a place to stay was a real joy. HIGHLY recommended.

We have stayed in many cabins. This is absolutely is our favorite and definitely will be returning. It was perfect in every way for us! It was clean and cozy. The outside was full of nature and property well kept and beautiful. Bring your own soap and shampoo, other than that they have thought of everything! I canā€™t wait to return to this beautiful, peaceful oasis!

Absolutely incredible stay! I took my mom here for a peaceful getaway where we could both just read and relax and boy, did we relax. The host is so kind and attentive and the property is BEAUTIFUL. The loft is peaceful and cozy and my mom enjoyed the downstairs bedroom. Our pup loved laying out on the covered porch listening to the rain and watching the squirrels. When the rain slowed, she ran around the yard like it was her own! This place is perfect for two and I will certainly be coming back!

Place was as described...beautiful, quiet area, perfect for relaxing, and easy to get to all the sites in the area. Hosts were very responsive to a question we had. Would definitely stay here again!! Glad I was able to bring my pup who was relaxed as well (see photo)
