Fun filled week

We all really enjoyed our stay this past week - spending most days out the majority of the day but coming home to the Blue Bungalow each night was comforting! Having what we needed to fix a few meals at the Bungalow was also a plus! And I was able to have my morning coffee!

Great host!

Property is great, located close to the public beach and is walkable if you prefer not to drive. The house has all the things you would need especially if you are coming from out of town (Plates, cups, silverware, pots and pans etc..) easy checkout process unlike some hosts that want you to do everything under the moon, this process was quick, easy and painless. The only complaint I would say is if you have a tempurpedic or other soft mattress you may have trouble sleeping on these beds as they are spring type mattresses and I know that can impact sleep while on vacation. Other than that this home is beautiful, the host is super easy to deal with and you can spend more time enjoying your stay at the Gulf!

Loved the Blue Bungalow

Clean, comfortable, great location for our wants and needs. I am used to staying in a condo on the beach but it didn’t work this time and I am so glad!!! Lived all the flowers and landscaping. Loved not needing an elevator and since I spend nice days at the beach anyhow I really didn’t miss it. We got to enjoy seeing little alligators and turtles, dragonflies, and newts. We spent a couple of hours a day at the pool. The only negative was 100% out of the owners control. Had nothing to do with them at all.. they were working on the spa at the pool, but my friend and I I don’t know we have enough kids that we just put the jackhammer as background noise and made our conversations much more private. However, one issue that we learned about, was not to go swimming in the evening. There are bugs there that will eat you alive.. and that’s nature for you. So we just did more relaxing in the evening hanging out talking resting.. I would definitely go back to the Blue bungalow again I just really enjoyed all the nature and it’s close to my favorite place to go, which is Fort Morgan down to the Dixie bar- to dolphin watch. We were there in May and it was delightfully warm and not too hot.. and just slightly before the major price increases for in season travel.

Safe and convenient location. The house was beautiful and the environment was relaxing! The kitchen was stocked well with all the essentials to prepare great meals. (All the supplies for cooking and baking that you would have in your own home!) Short and easy drive to the beach, also a reasonable walk. (My husband and younger daughter drove to the beach but my oldest daughter and I walked to and from the beach multiple times a day!) The pool area was VERY close to the house and beautiful and relaxing. The home had boogie boards and beach chairs available to use at the beach. Communication with the host was top notch. We had a personal situation arise during the trip (not related to the house or property) and the owner was beyond helpful and kind during that event. We will definitely stay again. My family had a fantastic time!

The property was clean, spacious, and had all the things we needed for our stay. Host was friendly and quickly responded to any questions or issues that came up. I would high recommend this property to anyone looking a quiet place to relax with easy access to the beach.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and secluded which is what we were looking for. The accommodations were adequate though the a/c unit didn't work very well in the front bedroom. It seemed to work fine in the unit as a whole but the front bedroom was hot even with box fans running. Owner responded quickly to all messages.

Beautiful decorated bungalow

We enjoyed our stay in fort morgan. The pool was great for the days when the beach had a double red flag warning or jellyfish. The washer/dryer in the unit was great. Great kitchen. We loved being close to tacky jacks as well. The only improvement would be having handsoap in all the bathrooms and a few extra rolls of toilet paper but we picked some up at the store. Otherwise everything was as described. Communication with owner was great.

Warm and Relaxing

The stay was awesome. Just what I expected. The only hiccup we had was that we arrived very late at night and it was difficult to find the house. We kept driving by it for about an hour before we finally spotted it. The number could have been up higher on the house or the bushes covering it could be trimmed. However had we arrived as scheduled, we would not have that problem. So, overall the stay was great.

Highly Recommend

I cannot say enough good things about the owners. Communication was the best. They were always less than five minutes away if I needed anything!!! The house was super cute and was exactly as described. It was very clean and in a great neighborhood. I always felt safe and that was key because I was traveling with just my older children and my husband was not with me. It rained some while we were there and we were completely fine with just hanging out at the house. We explored the public beach that is within four minutes of the house. I used the kitchen for breakfast and lunch each day. It was well stocked with the kitchen tools I needed. All in all it was an excellent stay and I would highly recommend the Blue Bungalow to anyone!!

Relaxing getaway

We had a great time during our stay. The pool is great for kids. The bugs were pretty terrible during our stay though so I’d definitely recommend bringing bug spray.

Awesome Stay

My family had a wonderful vacation here. Scott was very friendly and communicative. Other than some sand, the house was very clean when we arrived. There were lots of little extras provided which was very appreciated, having extra. blankets, pillows, fans, is always nice. The floors do echo, so heavy-footed people can be heard throughout. The Wifi worked really well & streaming was available on the TVs. The location is great if you want to be away from the crowds of Gulf Shores, but still within driving distance. It does require some planning however as you don't really want to be going back and forth just for little trips. Thw beach is across the main road & while it is within about a 10 min walk, we decided it was easier to drive. There's a small public parking area just a few min. It's a good beach with nice sand & was never very crowded (end of March anyway) There was a public pool and a hot tub in the community area which we're both nice. We were unfortunately absolutely swarmed with no-see-ums at the hot tub one night which put a damper on the fun. Also bit a few times on the beach in the late evening, so bug spray is a good idea. Overall my family had a great vacation at the Blue Bungalow & would stay there again.

A wonderful experience!

Close to the beach, a cozy little place with plenty of room inside. It is a lot roomier inside than you would think by the photos. Of course the kids love the pool. This place is absolutely amazing, and any issues we came upon were handled swiftly by the owner. I cannot praise him enough, he and his wife run a solid operation. I would do business with them again anytime!

Memorable Family Vacation

The Blue Bungalow provided such a memorable vacation spot for our family! Comfortable house, close to the beach and awesome pool. Few kinks with check-in, but owner quickly got back to us with easy fixes. I would say that the key code did not activate until exactly at 3:00 PM, so do not arrive early! Overall, 5 stars and would happily stay there again!
