Located just minutes from Vail Village, you will find La Casa Vista Vail, our 2500 square foot, custom decorated residence is the perfect place to start all of all of your Vail adventures. Live the life of luxury as you enjoy a glass of wine by the fireplace and savor the stunning views! Overlooking the Vail Golf Course, La Casa Vista Vail is a lovely, three-story duplex decorated in warm, woodsy tones accented with stone floors and vaulted ceilings in every room. We are located on a quiet cul-de-sac and have an enclosed garage with additional parking for up to three cars.

The kitchen is finished in gourmet style with custom cabinetry, huge granite countertops, three ovens and a trash compactor. We keep the cupboards fully stocked with staples such as flour and sugar so you won't have to spend extra time or money purchasing small quantities of items you need. We also have a full-sized washer and dryer. The dining area has a large table with seating for eight along with an additional breakfast bar area. You will revel in the panoramic views on three sides, from the Gore Range, the Golf Course, and Gold Peak at Vail while enjoying your meal!

The living area is furnished with two large seating arrangements. The first area feature comfortable lounging furniture and a view of the large screen TV and the beautiful mountains. The second arrangement focuses on the large fireplace, a perfect place to warm up and enjoy a hot drink after a hard day on the slopes or to read a book after a day hiking in the hills. Each room has a flat-screen TV, and there's DVD players in the living and master.

We also offer free high-speed wireless internet access, and SONOS. The house also has air conditioning in each bedroom.

The large deck is equipped with an six-person spa and a gas grill. With stunning views (and starry nights!) you might be tempted to spend all of your time in the invigorating bubbles as you sip on your glass of sparkling champagne!

The master suite has a king bed with cable TV. The adjoining Master bath is fully appointed with double sinks and a spacious shower with two showerheads. The second and third bedrooms, along with a loft are on the third level. Both are furnished with queen sized beds and the loft has two twins. These share one and a half baths.

Boys Ski trip to Celebrate a Bachelor Party

We came with a group of guys to celebrate a friend soon to be married! The goal was to be close to the action and experience the mountain for some skiing/snowboarding… this property allowed for just that! Close to vail village, short drive to beaver creek and set up great to hangout, and kick back after a day on the slopes. Carolyn was great and the property was beautiful! Very thankful for this trip and a great place to stay!

Better than the pictures

I would like to thank Carolyn and her family for such a marvelous home she has shared with my family in Vail. The condo is incredibly stocked and has a full service kitchen with all the bells and whistles. For the few small issues that we needed to touch base on - she responded immediately and took care of any questions. The condo is laid out very spaciously and offers private and quiet spaces for all. I would recommend this listing to anyone for a very comfortable and easy access to all in the Vail area!!!! Thanks again!!

Great spot for friends and family ski trip!

Our stay in Vail was great! It was a 5 minute drive to Vail mountain and 25 mins to Beaver Creek. The kitchen was fully stocked with any appliance/utensil you could possibly need. Beautiful views of the mountains, clean, spacious- no complaints at all! We definitely would stay here again and highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Great place!!

Beautiful place with beautiful views! Loved everything about this place. The views are to die for. It’s a short drive from the town, which is what we really liked. Hiking trails very close by and easy shuttle service. Jacuzzi was great and neighbors were very friendly. Fully stocked, very clean and very easy to communicate. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Home for Extended Family

We had our kids and their significant others staying, along with our sons Bernadoodle, and everyone had plenty of room. Everything necessary for a great vacation was thought of, including a very well stocked kitchen, and the great views and hot tub after skiing help make this fun for everyone. Carolyn communicated well and has obviously put a lot of thought into everything that could be wanted or needed to help make a memorable vacation. We will be back!

Amazing getaway for a group of friends

Close to all the ski resorts and the downtown area! The hosts are amazing and answer back very quickly. The highlight for us was the hot tub and the amazing view!! Would definitely stay here again

Great Luxury Getaway in Value

Love all the detail and attention that went into making this property one of the best rentals in Vale-area. Our family and pooches enjoyed every second of this beautiful home during the Thanksgiving break and look forward to coming back again soon. Great location, great beds, great space, great everything. Thanksgiving week at property 2743

The home was beautiful and comfortable. The fully stocked kitchen was great for us being able to make Thanksgiving dinner for our family. The setting was so convenient for walks, snowshoeing and going into Vail Village.

2017 Spring Break

we stayed here for spring break and had a great time. the house is conveniently located; within 5 minutes of Vail village and is completely stocked with everything you need - something I find many HomeAway rentals lack. One more thing - the Sonos system was an added bonus!

Very nice home for ski vacation!

The house was perfect! It was well stocked in the kitchen, and the hot tub was perfect after hitting the slopes. Perfect distance from Vail village. Would highly recommend!!

Beautiful home, wonderful views

Thank you for opening up your home to my family, friends and I! The spacious home fit all of us along with our 2 dogs very comfortably. The hot tub and grill on the back deck had amazing views of the mountains! Overall, it was a wonderful weekend and we hope to visit again soon!

Wonderful family retreat!

The property was beautifully maintained and perfect for a family vacation! We enjoyed New Years Eve watching fireworks from the deck and enjoyed making meals and family time in the den. The kids went sledding on the hill in front of the house and had a great time. We even enjoyed the somewhat lengthy walk back and forth to the bus stop - Caroline's tip about getting off at the Aspen Lane stop when returning from Vail was greatly appreciated! We will be back!

Relaxation & Awe amidst late spring waterfalls, flitting hummingbirds & bursting green of the Aspens

The accomodations were comfortable and well appointed with fully supplied kitchen, bathrooms & bedroom linens. The views from the deck were breathtaking from east to west. The hot tub gave us the opportunity to gaze at star filled skys. The outdoor grill kept us outside to be entertained by non-stop flitting of hummingbirds & magpies. The beds were like sleeping in one's own bed without the stresses and worries. The decor was warm & cozy. The Pope's were very flexible & attentive to our comfort. The roominess of the public rooms kept the 5 of us from getting impatient with each other. The spice cabinet is fully stocked. The cooking implements are well supplied. All of the appliances are high quality and worked trouble-free. The large dining table made our meals a warm experience, especially with the views out the windows facing the mountains. The accomodations felt like we were staying with welcoming family. The laundry was helpful. We would enjoy staying anytime of the year in such a well cared for and finely appointed home.

Roomy House, Close to Vail Village

Pros: House was roomy, large family room, table and bar area for seating (probably nine or 10 total), good layout for managing ski equipment, boots and snow cleanup at the end of a ski day. Liked that the kitchen was equipped with staples and numerous dishes and baking pans and utensils. The master bedroom had been fully remodeled and the bathroom and master bedroom furnishings were great. Cons: Finding the house on your first visit is not easy. The address is not clearly marked and the driveways are extremely difficult to locate if snow is on the ground. The house is at the top of a hill so you need to make sure that your car / SUV has snow tires during the winter time or you will never make it to the top of the hill. The walk to / from the bus stop is about a 1/4 to a 1/2 mile and at the end of a long ski day, walking uphill to the house can be difficult--especially if hauling equipment. The furniture in the family room is dated and worn and probably on the verge of needing an update. Although the kitchen was supposed to have been recently updated -- there were some items that did not appear to have been updated--older model oven and dishwasher. Countertops were granite and nice and the microwave was new. Our coffee maker did not work at all. The owner had a friend drop by a replacement and it did not work so we had to purchase pods for a pod machine--which wasn't the favorite of our coffee drinkers, but we survived. Just a few other items to note: The house has two and a half baths. So only two showers, but three toilets. The master bathroom is open to the master bedroom -- there's a separate room / door to the toilet area, but the sink area is open to the master bedroom and the shower has a glass door. So privacy can be an issue. There are three bedrooms with doors -- the master is downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. The master has a king bed and the two additional bedrooms have queens. There is a loft area with two twin beds -- really only for children as the ceiling is slanted and there is very little room to move or to store clothing, etc. All those staying in the two bedrooms and the loft area have to share a bathroom or use the master bathroom, which again does not have a privacy door. All in all, the house worked for our family and we had a nice time. The views out the windows at night are lovely and the house is equipped with everything, for the most part, that you need in the kitchen or throughout the house.

Perfect getaway!!

We stayed in this lovely home in August 2013 for 2 weeks and loved every minute! The house was perfect for us and our guests including our small grand kids! Accommodations were great and the kitchen was perfect! The views are awesome!! Love the location. We biked to Vail and played a lot of golf right across the road! Hope to make this an annual event!!

Thanks for checking out our home! Steve and I were full time residents of Vail for many years, now we are official "snowbirds" and spend the summers in our home in Vail. Yes, that's why it's not your typical rental... it's full of items that make it feel like an elegant home, from beautiful artwork and quality furniture, to a fully stocked kitchen with top-of-the-line kitchen items (you will be amazed at the spice rack).

We were (and still are) very involved in the Vail community - Steve ran the newspaper for years, I wrote the social column and was a ski instructor. We love this community and our home, and are happy to share it with quality folks who will appreciate it AND take care of it.
