Featuring both gulf and bay views from almost every area of the home, this fabulous 5 bedroom 4 bath East End home on one acre is perfect for families. Conveniently located across the street from the bike path with easy access to the beach. Style, beauty, and spaciousness combine to make Lured Inn a much sought after beach home for a relaxing and memorable family vacation. Decorative details include beautiful art work, hardwood flooring and impressive furnishings.
Enjoy the wonderful gulf views from the second floor covered porch and living areas. Step into the home on the main living area featuring an open floor plan with a very spacious and fully-equipped kitchen with an island and lots of cabinet space. The king master suite has a walk-in closet and stand-in shower also with view of the beach and screened porch. One queen bedroom along with the double twin bunk share a bath with one having views of the gulf. After a long day at play, bring the family together at the dining table for bay view dining! Entry to the 4th detached bedroom is right on the upper level off of the kitchen that is perfect for another private suite - they even have their own private bathroom with shower!
Entry to the 5th bedroom is located in the lower level parking area and is furnished with a king bed, club chair, loveseat, flat screen television, DVD player, microwave, sink, full size refrigerator, and private bath with walk-in shower. This 5th bedroom is total privacy away from the house, but still close!

Our favorite house on the island. The layout with the separate suites is especially nice. Large living room and well appointed kitchen. Nice sized pool. Convenient to the beach.

Much-Needed Family Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Lured Inn. There were 9 adults and 2 seven year olds.The septic tank backed up in the downstairs apartment but the management was very helpful and accommodating. The kitchen was missing baking sheets and our property manager brought us a new set within an hour!The pool was a nice place to relax after a long day on the beach. It needs a new dishwasher and the decor is a bit ‘tired’. New rugs/bedspreads would be a nice touch but overall, our week was great.

Fantastic house for large family
Overall it’s a nice house for a large family. Fully equipped, and the ping pong table was a huge hit! If you stay in the summer, they have everything you need to go to the beach. The pool is nice, although it was too cold to use when we stayed, even heated. Beach access was close by. You could still see and hear the ocean from upstairs deck. . Management was good to respond to any questions and knew the property well.

Beautiful Home
This house is in a fantastic location with easy short walks to the beach or the bay.
The Highs:
This house is stocked with all your beach and family fun needs! Boogie boards, beach wagon, beach chairs, ping pong, yard games and more.
The house itself is spacious and could house multiple families perfectly! It has a well stocked kitchen. The family and dining areas are comfortable and the front porch is great for ocean sounds and catching the breeze.
Lows:
The master king bed is terribly uncomfortable. We ended up leaving the room empty because of it.
There was a water leak downstairs that forced us all to move bedrooms for a night night.
We paid the pool heat fee of $350, but even on 70 degree days, it was freezing. I inquired about a refund during our trip and never got a response.
Overall, it was a great house and if we go to SGI again, we will consider it again.

Beautiful views, gorgeous well kept grounds, lots of room to spread out
This property is wonderful! Sunrise every morning, and sunset every night right from the covered front porch...priceless! Or walk across the street to the beach access and see them completely unobstructed.
The rooms are all great size and very well appointed. The primary mattress was excellent, the family room furniture was comfortable, and love the heavy composite outdoor furniture.
Having separate, yet connected, living quarters and partial kitchen downstairs was wonderful for sons family who joined for a quick visit.
The pool area is a terrific spot to sun, relax, and get out of the wind from the beach.
The house was clean, and I'm a neat freak, so that was a huge welcome after a long journey!
One wish would be a washer and dryer in the downstairs apartment. Sharing one washer and dryer for the entire property can be a challenge. Although your supply of large pool towels was a great surprise and bonus.
Of course no property is perfect. We weren't thrilled with the unannounced visits...1. to replace the furnace filter (could have been done on flip day),
2. when a property management employee came up the back steps, unannounced, to then let himself into the Crows nest bedroom. We were napping in main house. Our dog saw him and went nuts. I went to the door, he shook a huge set of keys and said " I can let myself in" then did so. Putting a brand new boxed tv behind the dresser and left with no explanation. Now had someone been sleeping, showering, or getting dressed in that room we would have had a major issue! I don't not think any employees should be allowed to enter a property you're renting, without prior notice of text, email or phone call and a time they will be arriving. That is a privacy and safety issue that needs to be addressed. This is the 2nd Fickling property were we had multiple unannounced visits during our stay. We're a retired couple, not like we're having any wild parties to check up on.
The driveway is shared and every day there was construction truck traffic up and down the driveway. Which is right next to the private pool so that was a noisy, somewhat uncomfortable situation with men walking and driving back and forth all day.
With that being said we love the island, the beaches, the people, and all the pups we come across. We'll definitely be returning yearly to the island! And we would rent this property again.

Hi Leslie - we apologize. This home does share a driveway with a public easement, so there is an alley that vehicles can drive down and our maintenance went down to replace the TV, but since you all checked in he just placed it behind the dresser. We know it's in your agreement that we may need to enter during your stay but feel free to let us know when you check in that you DO NOT want any one to come on site. We didn't mean to interrupt and glad you enjoyed this home.
