The shore home was built in 1883. The renovation went through a challenging and arduous process in order to preserve the historical exterior architectural components. The interior has been completely redesigned with large communal spaces perfect for entertaining and spending time with family. The interior design features a modern coastal feel with historical touches. 5 minute walk to beach and 12 minute walk to Asbury Park boardwalk entrance!

The property was so well taken care of and decorated impeccably. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of beach chairs, etc. Most of all, the owners were so responsive and helpful! Highly recommend. 100/10!

Wonderful Memorial Day Gathering

We had a lovely time in Ocean Grove. The home is beautiful, spacious and modern for our three families. John is very responsive and a great host to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

Perfect Family Beach Getaway

Beautiful home in great location. Quiet, close walk to the beach, all the amenities and supplies you could need. We appreciated the beach passes and walked to the beach daily. Host was easy to contact and very attentive. Highly recommend this property!

Stunning home!

We had our family girls weekend in asbury park this weekend and were thrilled with the home! It was the perfect accommodation for all 10 of us. The weather was terrible all weekend so having this beautiful home to hang out in was incredible. The owner is very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Amazing house. Very clean

The perfect weekend getaway for a bigger group. Many bedrooms. Every room was immaculately clean. The game room on the third floor has a ping pong table which was really cool. Host was very responsive. I would give this property 6 stars if I could. 10/10 would stay here again!

Amazing House!!

This house was awesome for a large group. Plenty of room for everyone and the 2 common spaces were great hang out areas. The kitchen was huge and had plenty of utensils, pots, pans etc. The whole house is beautiful and newly renovated. It also only a few minute walk to the boardwalk. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The house is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The location is perfect, a few blocks to the beach and even closer to a very cute main street area. The owner is very responsive and provides tons of amenities...chairs, bikes, beach toys and wagon. Our large group of family members could not stop talking about how wonderful this house was! 5+ stars! Highly recommend!

Great Layout, Great Location, Great Host - 5 Stars

Stayed here with three other father/son pairs while in town for a youth lacrosse tournament, and the house worked out perfectly for our group. Plenty of spaceā€”eight bedrooms meant everyone had room to spread out, and the multiple common areas gave us a great mix of hangout spots for 4 teenage boys (away from the Dads!!!).The finishes throughout the home are top notchā€”feels like a historic property thatā€™s been updated the right way. The front porch was a highlight for all of us. Itā€™s a great spot to relax after a long day, and we found ourselves out there morning and night.Itā€™s an easy walk or quick bike ride to the beach, and we were pleasantly surprised by how much street parking was available. None of the homes in the area have driveways, but it was never an issue.Only minor hiccup was the grill not working, but Johnā€”our hostā€”handled it exactly the way youā€™d hope. He responded quickly, was sincerely apologetic, and even offered to reimburse us for takeout.Overall, a fantastic place to stay with a group. Would absolutely come back.

Family Beach Trip

The property is gorgeous ! This newly renovated home had high-end fixtures and appliances, comfortable beds, and lots of equipment: multiple bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, carts, beach toys, etc. We tend to cook almost all of our meals, and the kitchen was well equipped. In fact, I had written to John to ask about what was provided just so I could pack what wasnā€™t there. John promptly provided several of the items I inquired about! John continued to be very responsive and helpful. Ocean Grove was lovely. We enjoyed the beach, the boardwalk, and the shops. We appreciated how convenient it is to travel from the metropolitan NY area to Ocean Grove. I highly recommend this property!

What a beautiful house! Itā€™s been renovated and remodeled very neatly. My friend were impressed by how clean and spacious the house is. We loved our times hanging on the porch up front. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to make food for 10 people. The owner was such a pleasure to work with. He answered all of our questions very quickly. The beach is only 5 minutes away and thereā€™s plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and 2 wagons to pull your stuff. There is a grill in the backyard in case you want to throw a BBQ party. We walked around the town and went to eat and did not need a car. Eveything is 15-20 min walk and was easy for us New Yorkers. My friends couldnā€™t believe how safe the neighborhood is and super quiet! I highly recommend this property and will def rent again

Fabulous house in great location

We are a multi-generation family that includes 5 kids ranging in age from 2 to 7 and had a wonderful week in Ocean Grove at this very comfortable house. The house is perfectly located on a quiet street within a few blocks of both the beach and boardwalk and the charming ocean Grove downtown. It is also less than half a mile walk to Asbury Park that provides additional restaurant, coffee shop, and entertainment options. The house itself is exceedingly comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. The house is bright, with large rooms, nice bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The playroom on the third floor has a ping pong table which added to the fun. The kitchen and dining area was generously sized accommodating everyone for meals. There were lots of towels, beach towels, as well as toys and games available. There were even bikes, beach chairs and beach passes! The owner was very helpful and responsive which made things very smooth. Highly recommend this great house!

Amazing Stay with Great Amenities!

Our family of 14 recently stayed at this beautiful beach house, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The property was exactly as described in the listing- no surprises, just the perfect beach getaway. The house was incredibly well-equipped, with thoughtful extras like beach toys, bikes, (comfortable!) beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and even beach badges. It felt like everything we needed was already provided, which made our stay so much more enjoyable and stress-free, especially since many of us were flying in from out of town. With 5 kids in tow, the top floor was a hit! They loved sleeping in the bunk beds, playing ping pong, and watching movies in the game room. The best part was that we could barely hear them while relaxing downstairs. It was a win-win for everyone- kids entertained and adults able to unwind peacefully. Ocean Grove itself is a charming town, and the house is conveniently within walking distance to the beach. It was an also an easy walk into Asbury Park to check out the boardwalk there. John was incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions we had before and during our trip. We'd love to return, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation spot in Ocean Grove!

Perfect Weekend

There were 18 of us that stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend. 12 adults and 6 young children had an amazing time! John, the owner, was beyond helpful for us. I had a lot of questions and he responded immediately. He really helped make the trip a success. First, the house is beautiful. Every detail was accounted for. Beds/sheets/towels etc were great, everything was better than average quality. The kitchen was big enough to have a group hang out and we spent a lot of time playing games. I think the favorite part for the adults was the 3rd floor playroom. The kids, ages 7-4, were able to be upstairs by themselves for a while. We put a camera/sound in the room so we could see what was going on. The kitchen had lots of supplies, but we did bring extra pots and pans for Thanksgiving. Very different from summer food. The location was great. We walked to the beach easily and to Asbury Park, right down the boardwalk. The house is close to grocery stores and a Costco. We would Definitely stay here again!

Great off-season getaway!

Our group had a terrific time in this beautifully renovated classic home. John, the owner, was especially helpful when booking the property and making our plans. The town of Ocean Grove was quaint and the walk to Asbury Park and its sights and restaurants was enjoyable as well. Highly recommend!

WOW, the home and service sure did exceed all expectations! I booked this beautiful home for my wedding weekend for family and friends to stay and everyone loved it. I want to thank the owner, John, for his efficient and timely communication with us. The home was clean, linens were fresh and location was perfect. A true gem

The property exceeded everyone's expectations. We will definitely come back. House design and decoration is just out of a magazine, all was extremely clean; furniture was sleek and elegant; bathrooms are elegant; bedrooms spacious with ample closet space; the common areas are perfect to have a broad group of 15 together.... The front porch, the closeness to the beach and main area of attractions. A true gem. On top of it all, the host was amazing. Thank you John! We look forward to come back next year!
