Family vacation

Great stay

The condo was very nice. We enjoy this complex and our grandaughters enjoyed the pool. The owner responded to all of our questions very quickly.

Our place at the beach

It was perfect for our family. The beach was easily accessible. The kids really enjoyed the pool as well. We will definitely stay here again. Ed was awesome as well!

Perfect family getaway

This home is in the perfect location. A quiet neighborhood but close to all the excitement. Love the screened in porch and pool! Comfy and cozy! Short walking distance to the beach which is a plus! Definately recommend and will rent again!

Our Place at the Beach Rental

Great property near the beach. Also has a pool. Very clean and nicely decorated. Ed was helpful when we had trouble using the key pad, and responded right away.

Fantastic Stay!

Our small family of four (2 yr old and 9 month old) really enjoyed this home! It was extremely clean and felt homey with cozy rooms and a screened in porch (with a ceiling fan). Plenty of open space in the living room too. Pool was a very short walk and great as well! We drove to the beach but it is easily walkable. Would definitely recommend!

Cute Condo

We enjoyed our stay and short walk to the beach at Ed’s place! We loved family game nights at the kitchen table and on the back porch. Ed was very responsive and kind when we needed anything. We brought our own sheets and towels because of another review, but we’re happy to see they were provided for us in clear bags. You do need to bring toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc., which we knew before hand. It’s a beach place and not a 5 star hotel- perfect for what it is. The pool was a blast for adults and kiddos, especially after the beach.

Stay here! You won’t regret it!

My husband, adult son and 10 yr old daughter absolutely felt at home here. Very clean and spacious living areas, well-stocked kitchen, and fantastic screened in balcony with a ceiling fan are just a few highlights. Add to it the fact that it’s a quick walk to the ocean and you can essentially take the coastal highway in either direction to ANYWHERE your heart desires makes this an exemplary location. We also took full advantage of the pool access. It was very clean, staffed with a lifeguard, a good size and never crowded. The host is also VERY communicative and helpful. I’d also like to add that it was very convenient to take advantage of the the towel and linens service instead of lugging our own. Thank you SO MUCH for allowing us to enjoy your condo. It was awesome.

Great Northern OC MD Spot

The condo is located in a condo development that is just back from the main drag through Northern OC. It is a great spot to explore south or North from there. The beach is just a short 5 min walk, the pool is beautiful and the property itself was very nicely taken care of through out. On the inside, there was plenty of room for a family or group of 4-6 with two bathrooms and two bedrooms. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, pans, etc...just about anything you would need. One great feature of this place is the screened-in back deck which overlooks the pool. It is a great location for both morning and evening. There was a large TV in the main living room and smaller TV's in the bedrooms. The owner also just put down new beach wood look flooring throughout. Speaking of the owner, he is great at communication and checked in with us after we arrived. Our trip was a great experience and was helped greatly by staying at this location.

Another great stay at Ed's place in OC

This was our second stay at this location and it was just as nice as the first stay. Situated a block back from the beach block, it is located away from the crowd and traffic noise but easily close enough to walk to the beach. Tip: There is a gap in the fence surrounding the property when walking toward the beach so you do not have to walk the whole way to the front of the development, just cut through the gap and the ASHORE parking lot and you will be at the beach in 5 min. With Acme grocery also in walking distance, one could easily leave their car sit most of the time if they wanted to just take it easy and enjoy the local stuff. The condo has 2BR and 2 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and living area as well as a dining area. One of the highlights for us is the screened-in back deck which overlooks the large pool. The place is great as is the location but probably the best part is the excellent communication from the owner (Ed.) He goes out of his way to make sure you know all the details of your trip and to make sure you are settled in when you get there. For someone who wants to be situated in North OC, this is a great choice.

Home away from home ❤️

We booked this condo early 2022. A little later in the year we received notice from the owner that he sold the condo but that the new owner would honor our booking. Nonetheless, we were a bit worried. From the start though, Ed (new owner) was very responsive to our questions & concerns. He told us of his plans for making improvements to the condo... some of which were done before our arrival (new flooring, new living room & patio furniture). Besides some white dust that settled from the floor installation, overall the condo was clean & comfortable. The only thing we had to bother Ed for while we were there was for a bedroom TV (new) that was not activated. Ed had it resolved within a few minutes of us messaging him. Overall, Ed was the perfect host & we would have no reservations with renting from him again!

Good family space close to the beach

This condo is a great choice for a family looking for a vacation spot close to the beach. It’s only 1.5 blocks away and was walkable with my 4 and 7 year olds. Pool was great and was a very short walk from this unit. The master bedroom has its own bathroom and there is another full bath in the hall that the kids used. We also loved the screened in porch area which overlooked the pool. Was a good place to hang out with the kids if they woke up early and we didn’t want to wake everyone else. Be aware, you need to bring your own toilet paper and paper towels in addition to your own linens and towels. We weren’t aware of this ahead of time so we arrived to next to no toilet paper left and had to run out to get some which wasn’t very convenient. Host was apologetic for not communicating this ahead of time. He was very responsive to all questions before and during our stay. Overall the place was fairly clean but we did find a dirty roasting pan in the oven. The kitchen was stocked with most things you would need and we were able to save money by cooking some meals but there were no sheet pans or oven pans. The storage shed out on the porch had tons of beach equipment including chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, and pool floats which was awesome! Having a small washer/dryer in the unit was also a huge plus! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Hi Cassandra Thanks for the review and the transparency, This is the type of info that will allow us (as new owners) to improve. I'm happy to report that since your stay, we have had new flooring , new sheet pans and new oven pans. We also have updated our welcoming letter to highlight the things our visitors need to bring like linens, towels etc. Lastly, we will begin offering linen services as an option for renters moving forward.
