You will LOVE this cottage!!

PLEASE NOTE!!! - In addition to the kitchen and family room renovations shown, this cottage also features a new master bathroom bath/stand up shower and new tiling. It also has a new front deck/porch featuring the see-through railing .... and a new large, outdoor shower. In 2018 and 2019, new furniture was installed.

First of all, it is right on the Night Heron Park with the Night Heron pool, complex, Kamp Kiawah, Nature Center, weekly park activities and carnivals all less than 100 yds away. The beach is about 300 yds away and is an easy 3 minute stroll. The park is the hub of all Kiawah activities and it is only a few steps away!

The cottage has undergone a major renovation which created a great open area for living. The floors are light colored hardwood with recessed lighting throughout ..... giving the cottage a wonderful bright and airy feeling. The kitchen was expanded and has new appliances, new cabinets, and granite countertops throughout. The bathrooms have been renovated with 'adult - height' vanities and Corian(r) counters.

The cottage is equipped with a large screen LCD Hi Definition television above the fireplace in the family room plus additional LCD Hi Def televisions in each bedroom. The cottage has wireless internet access throughout.

The back porch is screened in with a 4 person table plus additional seating chairs for back porch dining and entertaining.

This property is managed by the Kiawah Island Resort but we are able to pass on amenities to you as our guest. It is in the highest category of Kiawah Resort rental properties!!! You will have full check-in privileges and all amenities as a resort guest including access to all resort pools (only for resort guests, which includes you!), discounts on golf and tennis, etc.

The cottage sleeps 7 in beds. The Master BR is a king bed. The 2nd bedroom is a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom is a Bunk Bed - TWIN bed over FULL bed with a pullout TWIN trundle bed.

We do occasionally allow pets (except in summer) in special situations (contact me) but DO NOT allow smoking inside the cottage and have some special requirements of pet owners to help us keep the cottage clean and fresh.

Perfect for our family of four. Our kids loved the Night Heron pool and the cottage is also a short walk to the beach. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed.

Nice vacation

We really enjoyed our time at this property. It’s a very relaxing environment and close to very nice amenities, such as Night Heron pill and park and the beach. The whole family had fun.

Best location for littles

Great Spring Break!

We had a wonderful time at this precious cottage. It is across the street from Night Heron Park (our favorite!) and a short bike ride to the beach. The cottage was very clean and perfect for a few days away in Kiawah. Thank you!

Fantastic location for families with young children!

We really enjoyed our week in Kiawah at this property - it was a 3 minute walk to the Night Heron pool and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We have small children with short legs, so this was perfect! Communication with both the property owner and the Resort was smooth and prompt. Highly recommend this cottage!

Exactly as described

This house worked great for our family vacation to Kiawah. We have young children so the proximity to Night Heron was a huge plus. The property was clean and Rand was very responsive with any issue that might have come up. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location and amenities

We really enjoyed our week long stay at this cottage. Our two kids loved the bunk beds and the night heron pool that we had access to because of the resort privileges. We had some issues with the cottage not being cleaned when we checked in but Rand was very responsive and everything was figured out promptly. I would definitely recommend this cottage to family and friends.

The Perfect Cottage!

We had a wonderful Marathon weekend with perfect weather, and perfect accommodations. This space is lovely, comfortable, modern, quiet, and convenient. The teens loved the deck and the grownups loved the kitchen! Owners were a pleasure to work with. We hope to return!

Amazing property

The location of this unit could not be any better! You truly are steps from the pools and a short walk to the beach. The unit was clean and kitchen well stocked. If I had to knock anything, the wi fi on our phones were not super reliable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Cozy in Kiawah

Just what we were hoping for during a brief stay to assess Kiawah Island Resort's wedding options for our daughter and fiancé/boyfriend. Walking distance to The Nest Market & Cafe, where breakfast and lunch options are ample. Greatly appreciated a friendly reception facility, where check-in is the same process for VRBO customers as it is for other resort guests. Easy driving access to our meetings and other dining reservations.

This property was everything and more of what anyone could ask for. It was clean, it had everything in the kitchen that anyone could ever need. The beds were delightful. We loved the screened in porch. It will keep this property in my notes and will definitely return.

Nice holiday stay at Kiawah!

This is a very nice cottage in a great location for families. Fun walk to the beach, park and bike paths. The kitchen was nicely updated and stocked well. We found the sofa, beds and linens to be a bit lacking in comfort. It's also worth noting that the owners made two unplanned appearances during our stay, which we felt to be a little unusual. Overall, it was a very nice stay and met our expectations in a pet friendly cottage.

Wonderful location, wonderful cottage

This was our third visit to Kiawah but our first to this cottage and it worked out beautifully! It was clean, well equipped and cozy. The location is just perfect for heading back & forth to the Family or Children's pool, Night Heron Park and the beach. Actually it's convenient to everything since the biking/running path is so nearby. We enjoyed everything about this cozy house from the outdoor shower and ample bike & car parking underneath to the lovely & clean screened porch at the back of the house.

Awesome stay in Kiawah’s Night Heron Park

Our family of five with kids ages 3-8 enjoyed a great five night stay in Kiawah Island. This property was perfect for our family and was a very close walk to the Night Heron pool and recreation area, Nest, and to the beach. Because of all the beautiful trees the insight is a bit dark but that’s typical of many properties here because of the natural landscape. Rand was a fantastic host with close communication from booking to during the stay to immediately after. We highly recommend this property and Kiawah in general. 10/10 will be back.

Simply the BEST!

This is the best overall accommodation we have experienced on Kiawah. We've been visiting since 1990 & have stayed at Turtle Point, Turtle Cove, West beach homes, Vanderhorst, & Windswept. The check in process was seamless and the staff at check-in were polite and helpful. The cottage is in an excellent location - just a 2 minute walk to Night Heron - and a bit farther to the beach. Boardwalk 18 was about a 6 minute walk for us with towels, beach bag, & two little ones in tow. The cottage was sufficiently stocked with dishes, serving platters, utensils, and cookware. My only wish would be for some spatulas in better condition. Upon our arrival, everything was spotless and amenities were in abundance. We did request additional garbage bags for the kitchen and they were hand-delivered by resort staff within a few hours. The resort privileges were our FAVORITE! Access to the Night Heron pool - especially the kids waterpark and 2 slides - and discounts there and for Camp Kiawah served us well. We were surprised how many items were available for our use at the cottage: bikes, helmets, pool inflatables, bike pump, beach cart, sand toys, beach chairs, and more! Ive never been so pleased with a rental. It was like home away from home. Cannot wait to come back next year!

Love Kiawah

Loved the house and the location. There were boxes in the dining room that needed to be removed and towels and sheets on the front porch when we got there. Housekeeping came and took away. House was very comfortable.

Great Quick Getaway

We had a wonderful visit to Kiawah and enjoyed our stay in the Night Heron cottage. Primarily there for a golf getaway but did make it to the beach which was a short (less than 10 min) walk. Also a very nice park and trail system were adjacent to the property, making it easy to walk our labs each day. Wildlife galore, we saw beautiful birds and deer each day. The cottage was nicely appointed and very comfortable and working with the owner to reserve was extremely easy. We will definitely be back!

Perfection

The perfect place for a family vacation. Nicely decorated and excellent floor plan. Lovely screened in porch too. Close easy access to the most beautiful beach. Excellent walking and biking. The stairs and railings are very sturdy. Very friendly and nice people throughout the neighborhoods. Fun restaurants. The only mistake we made was we stayed only one week instead of two.

Very nice location, walk to the beach, pool complex across the street

Great first time visit to Kiawah for us. Nice, clean accommodations. Pre-visit communications with owner and the resort was appreciated. Internet and cable, kitchen appliances, washer/dryer worked great. Only recommendation is that the place is probably due for a new coat of paint. Kiawah Island is great: obviously great golf, and many good restaurants, particularly in FreshFields. Pool complex nice, really surprised at how awful the community workout facility was, really disappointing considering the rest of the place. Overall, great property.
