Great location and even greater view of the bay. This condo is about 15 minutes from Bethany beach and 10 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. We enjoyed being able to relax inside the condo and on the patio overlooking the great view.

Beautiful location and property!

We loved our stay at Bethany Bay Shore Lane! This was our first time on the area! Everything was great including the beautiful view from screen porch, watching birds and boats! It was Also perfect for viewing 4th of July fireworks from lawn right outside. It was a quiet spot even on a busy holiday weekend! We got up to watch the sunrise in the morning and loved the cool shade in the afternoon on the porch. Beds were comfy and furnishings were very nice! Kitchen was well equipped for our short stay. We did grocery pick up at Giant which was very helpful. Beaches are just a short drive away. We were blessed with three beautiful weather days so that made our stay even better! We did beach one day and pool the other day. We would also recommend getting a steamer pot from Topsail steamer. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to be back again!

Ok but could have been better

Loved screened in porch & view of bay. Community and pool were nice. Porch sliding was broken, digital door lock was difficult / partially broken, home was basically clean but marked walls and some spills in walls and the unit had NO cleaning products, broom, vacuum, etc. No dish towels were there and only one DW tablet. There were several easy to do improvements that would have made a difference for us. Sterile and minimal effort put in to make the stay comfortable. We have had much better experiences at privately owned rentals.

Lovely but a snafu

Overall we were pleased with the property. We had a terrible time getting the front lock to work when we arrived and had to ask the maid and owner down the portico to help but they couldn't get it either; finally my husband was successful just be persevering and it gave way; we had the same problem at night and never locked the door whether we were home or not due to the problem. Please fix it and let me know; I would like to go back but not with that problem there.

2nd time, will likely see a third

Second time staying here. Review is basically the same. Great view, good condo, and no dealbreakers. See you again next year! Only change from last year to this year is they upgraded the lock to a digital one. No more collecting and returning keys to a local Vacasa office! Only minor gripes are: scratchy sheets/towels, no dish drying rack, cheap kitchen gear. Don’t ask us to run the dishwasher but then not provide detergent.

Just ok

This condo was just ok. I’ve definitely stayed in worse but have also stayed in much better. The view was great, but screen porch and furniture felt dirty. Had cleanliness issues upon arrival but once we cleaned, it was comfortable and furniture was nice. Could use some TLC and upgrades throughout. Minor repairs in every room and bathroom could be made that would go a long way. The community and surrounding area was beautiful. Loved walking the paths and the pool and the staff were wonderful. Would stay in the area again, but in a different unit.

This place is amazing, clean, cozy, beautiful view and a really great vibe. Close to the best beaches Delaware has. Definitely making it my destination each summer

Great getaway for one or two couples or a small family

This condo had everything we needed. It was comfortable and cool - the ac and ceiling fans were fantastic on those hot days. It was very clean and the furniture is beautiful and the place is well decorate. The carpeting is nice too. It felt like a home and not just a rental space. We loved sitting out on the enclosed back porch and watching the water and wildlife such as a fox, geese, ducks and a deer. We had our morning coffee out there and read and talked. The living room was great for chatting too. The primary bedroom is spacious and the bed very comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and plan to return. It is in a private, quiet community but close to golf, pool, beaches, grocery stores, restaurants and the boardwalk. The drive to the beach was easy and we didn't mind it at all. We had a really lovely weekend and have fond memories of our stay. It was pretty perfect and we are happy with our choice to stay here.

Place was great, loved the water view. Please add TV to master bedroom and ice maker in freezer. Place was very nice and clean, decorated well. Bathroom tile needs to be updated, some grout issues, but not bad. Will stay again in future, thanks for a great stay

Nice place

Overall we had a nice stay. We like the community and have stayed within the community several times. The unit was missing some things that would have made it better. Hand towels would have been helpful, having dish towels or even a drying rack would have also helped out. We had to use a bath towel to set dishes on and a wash cloth to dry dishes. Not very convenient. Could have used a couple more trash bags especially if you want the client to take the trash out. The unit was dusty. It wasn’t pleasant to look up while in bed to see a fan coated in dust. When paying a good $250 more than I’m use to paying for the same time of year in the same community some of the above things would have been nice to have.

Weekend getaway

It was a good place for 4 friends for a weekend getaway. The listing stated it sleeps up to 6, but that would have felt somewhat crowded, especially because the master bedroom had a double bed, not queen/king size bed. The neighborhood felt safe and was quiet (end of September). Inside was tastefully decorated and well furnished with a great view of water. Kitchen was well equipped with appliances, which appeared to be new. Bathrooms were clean. We would book it again

Peaceful get away

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway near Bethany Beach, and it met all those expectations! This property is in a quiet neighborhood and was very clean. The the beds were very comfortable. The screened in porch was a favorite spot to have wine and apps and enjoy the scenery (the quiet bay and wild life including herons, deer, fox - to name a few). Note that it is a 15 minute drive to Bethany Beach, but we did not mind. The condo is worth it! The communication from the property manager - Vacasa - was a little confusing and at some point even told me the wrong information via text (probably "too many hands in the pot that ruins the sauce," type of thing). If you stick to what is written in the contract AND the information on the envelope that your keys come in, you should be fine.

Perfect for our family trip!

Everything was there to have a worry-free vacation. 10 minute ride from the beach. Nice amenities with community pool, playground and tennis courts. Great price for all that was included.

Perfect for our little family. Everything was there for a worry-free vacation. Great amenities such as pool, playground and tennis courts. Great view of the bay! We even saw a deer on each morning. 10 miutes drive from the ocean. I would go back especially with this price.

Beautiful View

The screened in deck was large & offered a beautiful view of the marsh lands. The sunsets were stunning & watching the wildlife was so relaxing. The only down fall was not having cable tv and not having a tv in the master bedroom.

Perfect quiet spacious place

The home was spotlessly cleaned. I'm pretty picky about cleanliness and most places aren't cleaned quite as well as I would like them to be but not the case here. The place was so clean it was like walking into a spa. It's exactly as pictured. The furniture all in good condition and the whole place had a very spacious feel to it. The screening on the deck looked a little unstable to house my two toddlers so they were only allowed on it with an adult. The floor of the outdoor deck could use some TLC but was still a perfect place for me to sit with my coffee and watch the sunrise. I loved the location - it was close to a large shopping center that had everything we needed. It was also a quiet community with lots of parking available. We didn't check out the amenities so I can't comment on those. Overall - I was thrilled with the place and will certainly stay here again if I'm back in Bethany Beach.

This listing was truthful about the beauty of this house. We loved the views from the screened in porch! Had a beautiful view of the dolphins playing and great sunrises each morning. Highly eecommend!

1st Bethany visit

Great area! Loved the development. Unit was the perfect size but needed updated and minor repairs. Overall we had a great trip!

Loved the condo. Did NOT love the realtor.

The condo was perfect. The staging was right on. The porch, although it could have new flooring, had a great view of the bay.
