Quiet time for this Lower Level Suite is between 10pm - 7am. So if you're contemplating partying late into the night, then this place is not for you.
Hot tub cover must be SECURED on top of the hot tub after every use. We do get wind here occasionally and could get blown away if not secured.
Keep the exterior entry door closed at all times to avoid insects, critters and outside cats from entering.

We completely enjoyed our stay at the Hilltop Haven. Grant is a wonderful host. It was great to have private bathrooms for each of the 4 bedrooms. We appreciated the view and saw many deer, Sandhill Cranes, other wildlife and enjoyed the horses. We would be happy to come back for a stay the next time we are in the area.

We spent 2 days at this lovely, spacious home. Incredible views and we enjoyed the hot tub and visiting horses. The kitchen was well stocked and cleanliness was amazing. We would recommend arriving before dark as GPS didn’t work in the area ( but Grant had warned us). Luckily a lovely neighbor drive us to the location. It is well located 15-20 min from Watertown.

The property is located in a fantastic, peaceful area. Very quiet, very clean. It had probably the best amenities for a VRBO I have experienced. 15 minutes from waterton was nice. The property was modern and spacious with quality furniture and appliances.

We absolutely loved our stay! Perfect layout with lots of room and every amenity. We especially enjoyed the gorgeous views and sunsets and the cats, horses and the deer! Grant was the perfect host.

We loved this place! Grant was a great host from the very start. He showed us around the guest area and told us about the animals around the property (cats and horses). The rental is on the lower level of the house and was very spacious. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and the kitchen was nicely equipped to make family meals. The views of the mountains to the west made for some beautiful sunsets. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!

This was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in, comparing to all countries and regions worldwide. The house is beautiful. The view is incredible. Grant was very accommodating. The rooms are huge with individual bathrooms. Very clean, modern and high quality. The kitchen was perfect for our family group. Lots of little extras like spices, coffee, etc really made us happy. We highly recommend it.

Friends Traveling through Canada National Parks

This place was amazing! The host, Grant, greeted us at check-in and showed us around the property. He also gave us some great ideas for things to do and places to shop. And guess what? He brought us freshly baked sourdough bread in the morning! It was such a thoughtful touch. The place was super clean, just like it was described in the listing. I highly recommend it, and we’d definitely stay there again if we ever visit the area.

We could not speak more highly about our time at Hilltop Haven. While it was a 20-25 drive to get into the town of Waterton, the distance gave a beautiful vista of the Rockies for sunsets that could be enjoyed from the hot-tub or from the patio just outside.The whole-basement space was private and quiet. They build the basement with really tall ceilings and we could hardly hear a footstep above from the residents/hosts above. They live on a small farmette (if that's the term used up there) that had a couple of very friendly horses and a small group of the friendliest farm cats we've ever met. The kids LOVED time in the pasture, walking down to the creek (after a little bugspray), and visiting with the horses and cats.The rooms we large and the en suite bathroom IN EACH BEDROOM led to quick, efficient morning routines. The kitchen had everything we could have asked for to make dinners or prep for lunches on the road.The host was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would revisit Hilltop Haven if we were in the neighborhood again.

Family and friends get together

We were here three years ago and this place doesn’t get old. Love staying here. The spaciousness of the place, the view, and the proximity to the park is a bonus.

Summer Solstice wedding stay

We stayed at Hilltop Haven in Mountain View with family while attending a wedding at Rocking Heart Ranch (also 5 star - aside from weather). We were greeted by Grant who showed us through the property and gave us any needed instructions. The property is amazing - thoughtfully set up and appointed with a large party of guests in mind. The bedrooms are large and beds are very comfortable. Each has it's own full bathroom. Two of our party had significant mobility issues but were able to manage getting into tub for a shower. Plenty of parking, cats and horses outside to watch and interact with.We had a rainy wedding day, but the property was cozy upon our return. We were able to explore Waterton a bit (with suggestions from the hosts) the next couple of days.It was a wonderful stay and we definitely will be back!

Beautiful property

A piece of Heaven on Earth!

The five of us absolutely loved this property. Enjoyed the hot tub and awesome scenery with a great sunset both nights! The mornings we had coffee and were greeted by their friendly and beautiful horses!! Both provided by the hosts(: A hard place to leave!

Beautiful place to stay - close to Waterton!

We visited Waterton for a family wedding. We had a large group of 14 people. Grant’s suite was perfect for our four families. Each room had its own bathroom and plenty of space. Our kids enjoyed playing outside. The view was beautiful and the suite was perfect -very clean and had everything we needed. Everyone in our large group enjoyed their stay. Grant was very responsive to messages and accommodated our request to check in a little early. We were very happy with our stay!

Excellent property

This peaceful place was perfect for our family getaway. Each bedroom with it's own ensuite worked very well for our group. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and it was very nice to have a generous supply of coffee pods. The adults enjoyed the hot tub with it's breathtaking view and the children enjoyed the outdoor toys, and seeing the kittens and the friendly horses. We had a wonderful stay at this property.

Perfect stay in Wateron National Park

This was the perfect place to stay while visiting Waterton National Park. The home is comfortable, clean and a wonderful set up for family or friends. It is also an easy drive to Waterton. The host gave us some recommendations of places to enjoy in the area. We went with a group of friends and would love to come back some time with our family.

Magnificent place

Great place for Waterton visit!

We loved our stay and enjoyed nearby Waterton very much! The host and property are lovely and was perfect for 4 couples! The horses, cats and Mountain View from the patio were fabulous!

Excellent base for hiking Waterton

A very spacious and wonderfully well equipped suite with gorgeous views for our group of 9 adults. Bedrooms are all much larger than the photos with big walk-in closets and very comfortable beds (eg 6 pillows each on the queens/kings). Loads of dishes, pots, cooking and coffee making supplies etc. Hot tub, bbq and lots of outdoor seats much appreciated. Host Grant responds immediately, is welcoming and available all the time on site. Do ask for detailed directions to get there - none of our GPS’s found the right range road!

Amazing property!

This was our first time staying in a vrbo, and not sure what to expect. Grant welcomed us as soon as we drove up and took us on a tour of the house and property. We were amazed by his hospitality and the views of the mountains. The cabin is well stocked and needed nothing! It was an amazing vacation spot and cant wait to go back!

Fantastic!

Far exceeded our expectations. The home is clean and comfortable. Location is perfect and easy to get to- follow Grant’s step by step driving instructions because GPS will land you miles away in someone else’s driveway. Access to groceries, fast food, shopping in nearby towns. Plenty of room for a large group- we had 9. Having 4 bathrooms was so nice. All the beds were very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets available in the rooms. The view is the big seller here. Stargaze at night and see the Milky Way. Owner is very communicative and answers questions promptly. You will not find a better home to stay in near Waterton.

Fun weekend

We had a fabulous weekend, enjoying the activities and beauty of Waterton. Grant’s place was the perfect place for our group of friends and family. kitchen is set up with everything you need. Beds are extremely comfortable. The outdoor area is spectacular. We enjoyed our coffee sitting out on the patio and were thoroughly mesmerized by the beauty and enjoyed watching the wildlife. We had 11 people staying for 2 nights and the space was perfect - made a great trip even greater. Thanks so much for your hospitality Grant. Also the banana bread was delicious!!

We had an awesome two-day stay at this Vrbo house with our group of friends. The location was beautiful and super peaceful. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfy, and waking up to the sounds of nature was amazing. The outdoor area was perfect – we enjoyed our morning coffee there, watched the sunset, and had a blast in the hot tub. The hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. This house is perfect for a fun getaway with friends. We left feeling relaxed and with great memories. Highly recommended!

A Pleasant Getaway

This property was a great place to enjoy our getaway with all of our kids! The setup at Wight Haven was great for a large group, couples and for kids. They had all the supplies we needed to keep ourselves clean and well fed (adequate cooking supplies; we just had to supply the food). Grant was great to talk to and interested in making our stay as pleasant as possible. A reasonable distance to Waterton. Another positive feature was the stunning view that we could enjoy with our family, all while sitting in the comfort of this home, looking out the window!

I love to putter around the acreage, sit by the firepit and watch the sunsets, trail riding in and around the mountains, hiking in the mountain parks and hanging out with my grandkids. Love to travel when we can. The simple life for me.
