A house you’ll never want to leave… if it wasn’t for the gorgeous mountain scenery! Found in the heart of the desirable Mountain Shadows area, this house nestles itself in a super private and quiet neighborhood with a back yard that opens up to hiking trails. Situated just 3 minutes from Garden of the Gods & Ute Valley Park, it’s also just a short drive from the U.S Air Force Academy and countless trails for hiking, biking and other outdoor activities. Have coffee on the master deck as you watch the sun paint Pikes Peak in beautiful orange, purple, and pink rays. Or have a cocktail around the fire at night and then jump in the hot tub while basking in the views!

This house backs up to open space of Mountain Shadows. You can hike to Garden of the Gods as well as Ute Valley. A short distance to everything you come to Colorado for.

Besides the quick access to trails, the Backyard is also equipped with several amenities for adults and kids alike. You can see Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods from the backyard and huge Master deck from the large sectional couch with fireplace, or from the highboy table while sipping some morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The back patio on the main level also provides cozy and stylish deck furniture with a fire pit and grill. There are 2 tables that sit 6 each outside and a 6 person hot tub. There is also a trampoline and large tree house with rope ladder and slide for kids (we do lock down the zipline for safety reasons). We have routine hot tub and lawn care weekly that is quick and quiet and should not be of bother to you.

The basement is an entertainers dream with a custom designed 8 foot Pool table, ping pong table, fuse ball/air hockey table and 2 dart boards for adults and kids. You’ll also find a full bar with everything you need to make your favorite cocktail. (Alcohol not included) The Basement has a loft area with a very comfortable queen bed. And if you and your fellow guests just want a chill night, you’ll enjoy the TV entertainment area with 70 inch smart TV and large sectional couch.

Bedrooms: Each of the 4 private bedrooms has a closet with hangers and a laundry basket with space to put your clothes up and get settled and organized for a short or long stay. Comfortable mattresses and fresh sheets and a plush comforter come with each bed

Family Friendly for all ages. The loft upstairs has books and games for all ages and the basement play area has toys for all ages.

The upstairs linen closet has a ton of extra towels, wash clothes, sheets, blankets , comforters and pillows for those that like to have a little extra comfort! There is a washer and dryer to use at your leisure. We provide the essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, soap etc.

The home is smart-equipped and includes wi-fi, smart televisions with local channels as well as Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Peacock TV for streaming.

Additionally there is a smart thermostat equipped with central heating and A/C that you can adjust to your preference (we just ask you don’t turn the heat to 90 or the A/C to 60 lol). Please keep windows shut if using the AC and if gone close the shades. The house is big and some areas can be a challenge to keep cold with the Colorado Sun. That is why we give you access to an extra AC unit in the closet for the upstairs rooms if they get extra hot. There are ceiling fans in every room as well. The home includes a security system. Video Surveillance is only outside for security purposes.

There is NO smoking of any kind allowed on the property.

No fireworks of any kind on the premises. This home is located in a "NO BURN AREA."

No parties or large events.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm- 8:00 am. While it can feel like you are in the woods and no houses near in the backyard, you are in cul-de-sak so just be respectful of the neighbors.

This is a "Bear Aware" home. No food or garbage can be left outside. No doors left open unattended. Garbage and recycle are in the front and to be put in the road every Monday night for Tuesday pick up. Please let us know if the trash is overflowing - we will fix that for you!
We have yet to see a Bear but others have. You will see other wildlife regularly like deer, fox and rabbits. For yours and the animals’ safety, please do not feed the wildlife!

NO pets are allowed.

This house can sleep 10 adults very comfortably. I have an abundance of extra bed options but those are usually great for babies, toddlers, kids or teenagers! Any guests that are not listed (after booking) and over the number of guests listed a night will be charged $50 per person per night. Please note that our house is approved by the city for a maximum of 15 guests, so there are no exceptions beyond this. I am open to other situations as long as you communicate and get this approved by me beforehand. Thank you for understanding.
