This spectacular home, located in the historic lakeside community of Marla Bay in Zephyr Cove just steps from our private lake access, offers amazing privacy with easy access to all of Tahoe's activities. Perfect for families, small groups and mature adults looking to relax in this tranquil, peaceful and quiet area of Lake Tahoe. The interior of this home was completely renovated in 2020 to include brand new flooring and paint and exceptional updates to every room in the house. Plenty of room for a large family to enjoy with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a recreation room in the basement. The updated family suite (master bedroom) on the main floor offers incredible comfort for families with young children. In-home entertainment includes free Wi-Fi internet, two Smart TVs, and a foosball table. Nothing is better at the end of the day than relaxing in a cozy Tahoe cabin, knowing you got the best value on the lake.

Summers in Lake Tahoe - For many years, families have been enjoying their summers here in Lake Tahoe. Our temperatures are among the best in the country. The average temperature in the summer ranges between 70 and 80 degrees. On any given day, we have over a 90% chance of clear sunny skies. Lake Tahoe offers virtually every summer activity one could want:

•Hiking--Hundreds of miles to enjoy in the Tahoe basin.

Great Tahoe Cabin

The house was wonderful. We loved the lake themed decor and the foosball table. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well appointed. It was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway with family and friends. Host communication was great.

Lovely spot in Zephyr Cove

This was a great spot for my family and I. It was close to Heavenly, and the casinos. Close to restaurants also. It was clean, had a nice big backyard, and accommodated my family. Also, they have a heated driveway for the snowy days! Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful house and location for family stay

We had issues checking in which was rather stressful at time in dark and cold with small kids. Once we were able to contact manager they were very responsive thereafter and apologetic. Ensure you get more than one contact number when booking. House was lovely and great for our family group had everything we needed

Winter getaway

Love this cabin! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a great time watching the snowfall in front of the fireplace from this cozy cabin! It was everything we’d hoped it would be for a family winter getaway. The large farmhouse table was perfect for our family to gather for meals and games. We had many laughs playing foosball in the game room. The master bedroom is thoughtful for families with small kids. Thank you to the host, for the opportunity to stay at your lovely place! Amazing place

My family and I stayed at this property for two days in Lake Tahoe and it was one of the cleanest vacation homes I’ve stayed in so far for Lake Tahoe. It was clean, the owners were very responsive, they had everything we needed. Not to mention the place was newly remodeled and beautiful. In one of the rooms you can wake up and see the lake in the distance. Paragraph the downstairs playroom was perfect for the kids to go down and enjoy themselves. The backyard was big enough to enjoy as well.We truly appreciate getting the opportunity to rent this place for my family vacation. We will definitely come back.

Perfect Tahoe Cabin!

This house was perfect for our family. It is deceptively larger than it looks. The downstairs is a perfect room for kids. The only bummer was the lack of beach in Marla Bay due to the Lake being so high, but that’s great for Tahoe! Would highly recommend this home.

Comfortable and Close to the Lake

This is the second time our family has stayed here for our annual week at Lake Tahoe. The house feels like a home and is in a great location. My only suggestion would be to provide a few more bath towels and some washcloths for guests that are staying for an extended period of time. Thanks again for accommodating us in our Lake Tahoe tradition!

Christine has been vacationing in Lake Tahoe for over 32 years. Her grandparents once owned a condo in Zephyr Cove and her mother always told Christine that she kicked herself for not buying it from them when she had the chance. Each summer, Christine's mother would bring home a Tahoe real estate magazine, but she never pursued her dream. Christine and Brett were married and honeymooned in Lake Tahoe in July 2008. Tahoe is forever a special place for Christine's family. In December 2008, Christine's mother died unexpectedly. Christine's mother was generous in life and in death, and left an inheritance to Christine and Brett that was enough for a down payment on a house in Lake Tahoe. In 2009, by tears, blood and the sweat of their brow, Christine and Brett remodeled this Zephyr Cove home with the dream of renting it to people who will visit Tahoe and create rich memories with their friends and family, just as they have done. In 2020, it was time again to update and remodel. The cabin has been transformed and is more beautiful and comfortable than ever.

A Bay Area native, Christine has been vacationing in Tahoe since she was four years old. Some of her fondest family memories occurred in Lake Tahoe, which included her and Brett's wedding on South Shore. Her grandparents once owned a home in Zephyr Cove, which made this specific area of Tahoe even more special for her. Brett and Christine hope that families and groups of friends will enjoy their home and build wonderful memories of their own.
