Absolutely fabulous vacation home with all the amenities to make your vacation to Lake Tahoe perfect. This beautiful property is just minutes from Heavenly ski resort, offering both winter and summer fun and a couple of miles from the lake and major casinos.
The accommodation includes 3 private queen bedrooms with a child’s loft area with bunk beds for two. Three bathrooms , two family rooms, kitchen and dinning room. Front and rear decks to enjoy the mountain air. Communal pool and hot tub with sunbathing and BBQ facilities. This house has no cable or internet.

What a great place to stay, play, relax by the fire, or walk to the lake! We did all of those things. This is a great location with pretty much everything within walking distance. Highly recommend enjoying a few nights at this lovely property! Host was great and very quick to respond. I would definitely rent here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It had plenty of space for our group of six and delivered a true alpine vibe surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. The check‑in and check‑out process was smooth and effortless, which made the whole experience even better.

This house was exactly what we were looking for. The home felt cozy and was very nice. The only thing i would say is the beds are a bit uncomfortable and the sheets needed to be rewashed other than that it was a nice stay

We came here for NYE to ski at Heavenly. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Very close drive to Heavenly Village and California side. At 2200 sq ft, the house has a lot of room. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean. Ian was very responsive with any questions. Would love to come back.

Can't Wait to Come Back!

A group of friends recently stayed here for a wedding in town. The six of us were comfortable and had plenty of space to relax and have privacy if needed. There was a slight hiccup when we checked in, but the host, Ian, resolved it swiftly and was very communicative. The home looks like it has been updated and has all the amenities one would need. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The community pool was a short walk from the home and was exactly what we needed. We can't wait to rent this property again for our next summer break!

Excellent location, beautiful home.

Great location. Good cabin feel. Well stocked kitchen. We had a lot of fun and made some great memories with our kids. This place is very big. We are a family of four and could have Brought 6 more people easy. Nice furnishings with reclining couches. Wood burning fireplace. Only one thing i wish we had was a tv and a dvd player upstairs. Dont get me wrong, there is a big flat screen down stairs in the family room , but where we live we dont have snow. So being upstairs and admiring the winter wonderland was where we wanted to be. We had good family time having snow ball fights in the back yard and playing board games. It would have been nice to fill some of the nights with a family movie and some popcorn by the fire. This place was an overall great experience. I would defenitly recommend.

Don’t bother, this house is a dump, keep searching, you will find a cheaper and better place.

The house is located on the inclined hill and if there is ice and snow it’s a hazard for you and your car. The garage is only for one car and if it’s something bigger than an Audi Q7, forget it. There is no back yard or fence, you never know who or what could be on the patio on the other side of the bedroom window. There are cameras in the front and the back of the house, if you are a smoker or trying to sneak in a pet, forget it, you’ll have your deposit forfeit. The carpet is old and looks dirty, it looks like a hazard to walk on barefoot, probably because renters don’t bother to take their shoes off. All patio doors have fragile plastic vertical blinds and 2 of them fell off as soon as we tried to open them, had to reattach them from the other end, sure as many others did. The foosball table had a figurine broken, had to fix it with 2 zip ties. The fireplace was full of ashes and half burned firewood. There was a dirty napkin (I hope it was chocolate) behind the dresser in the loft, an unusable table lamp with a broken light switch and my kids saw a live bug on a bunk bed frame. The electric kettle leaks water and the drier takes 2-3 hours to dry your cloth, and I had to properly reattach the exhaust tube to the exhaust pipe in the back since it was facing the kitchen. The property listing clearly says that there is community pool and a hot tub available when in fact it’s closed, the owner replied that “unsurprisingly it’s closed due to pandemic”, and yet a year later the listing still clearly says that they are available, I guess it’s a good marketing factor. I did sneaked in a 6 pound Chihuahua. We searched for pet friendly houses, but after some time of searching, the filter gave us all options, and because of the software/user error, we ended up booking this listing and didn’t feel like canceling it, we thought how much a 6 pound lap dog wearing a sweater can do, yet we lost a giod portion of our security deposit for a specific allergen cleaning that possibly, was never even done. We left the driveway at 11:06 with no one in sight, but sometime after 11:30 the owner sent me this: "My cleaner is waiting to get into the property, check out was 11am, please vacate the house.", to which he did apologize later. If the owner thinks none of this is true, I dare him to prove me otherwise, but I will be sure not to rent this house again. I give it one star for the prime location, just 20 min walk and 4 min drive from the downtown…

Hopefully you can see this for what it is, this person has no respect or regard for other peoples property, rules or a rental contract. This is a non smoking house that does not accept pets. The contract that he accepted when he rented my house stated no pets allowed (so did the web page property description) violations of this would result in the loss of deposit, I withheld $200 of his $300 deposit to pay my cleaner extra to clean the carpets, a very reasonable amount. Also when renting a house in the mountains in the middle of winter, expect bugs, it to be on a hill and snow and ice on the roads. One last thing and I’m not sure of where you live but I haven’t seen a community pool or hut tub open for a year due to the pandemic.

Great family vacation house

Great spacious cabin style house in quiet neighborhood and walking distance to downtown of South Lake Tahoe. The kitchen is outdated and needed new appliances but had everything we needed. Easy communication with owner and check in and check out instructions. Will recommend this house for big family who want to explore beautiful Lake Tahoe area!

Great location

We stayed with my son, his wife and granddaughters. We all had a great time. The house was in a perfect location. Our youngest granddaughter is 2 years old and the stairs were a bit of a challenge, but the house was clean and the snow was right out the backyard which was perfect for them

Awsome House!

It is a really nice place to stay at Tahoe, very close to everything. 5mins to Safeway, 3mins to Ski. Me and my friends love to stay and have a lots of funs in the house. Owner is super nice, I got questions and texted him; he replied right away. I would like to stay here again!

Perfect family vacation spot!!

I would like to start by saying that this was the perfect home for our family holiday. When we arrived the house was clean and inviting. The kids loved the game room and the pictures do not do it justice. Its huge!! All of the bedrooms were nice sized and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need. The owner was great with communication and responded right away when we had questions. I would higly recommed this house!!!!

Family Friendly

The kids loved the house and all the amenities. We especially loved the entertainment room downstairs and direct access to the back area via the balcony. There was plenty of space for everyone and a great view from the back balcony. Highly recommended for families looking for a getaway, but being able to just enjoy each other’s company.

Nice 3bed/3 bath cabin

Ian was super wonderful to work with, very responsive and quick to reply. The house had every thing we needed. The kitchen was stocked, the location was very nice and quiet and it was also very close to the heavenly shopping center/casino.

Be prepared that your deposit is not going to be returned

The property gets rented a lot due to it’s great location however it needs some updates. The carpet is really old. The appliances are so old that I’ve never seen anything like it before. Both fridges are barely cooling. Bring your own dishwashing soup, they provide only one-two tablets. Take pictures on day one if something is broken so you can fight for your deposit at move out. Our deposit was not returned to us since the TV was broken (even though we never even turned it on) and a screen door was broken to begin with but we got charged for it.

Perfect relaxing getaway

We arrived right at 4 and the property was clean and easy to get the key and get in. The bedroom downstairs with the Bathroom game room was great for a little privacy from the rest of the house. There were two bedrooms and two baths on the main floor. Looked like with new queen mattresses. My husband and I are big people so I was a little concerned at first since we have a California king but they were so comfortable. We slept well. It was warm out but there were plenty of fans if we needed to get cooler. The loft was an added bonus room with a queen/twin bunk. We didn’t use it but it’s very to have extra beds. The location was great. Walkable to all south shore has to offer.

Terrific Tahoe

The location of this property is absolutely wonderful! It is close to all the fun - trails, lake, shopping, restaurants, etc. Ian, an owner, is simply wonderful to work with. We “chatted” any number of times, and he responded to an issue immediately. The beds are comfortable, and we loved the TV room in the basement. The front and back decks are awesome for enjoying the Tahoe sun! The property is older and could use some updating, but there is room galore! And it is inside a very cute little “village” called Tahoe Tyrole. We so enjoyed our 6 days there!!!!
