This 3 bedroom, 1 & 1/2 bath ranch home is truly the next best thing to being on the water - without the hefty price tag! Relax on the deck and look out to the water and mountains beyond while you enjoy that morning cup of coffee. Cook your evening meal on the barbecue grill while day-dreaming about tomorrows adventures on the beautiful Patrician Shores Beach with swim raft Challenge your vacation-mates to a game of tennis, basketball or pickle-ball at the Patrician Shores courts. The stroll down to the beach is just down the foot-path in front of the house. A short car or boat ride brings you to either Center Harbor or Meredith. This property is in a great location for dining out, golf, mini-golf, going to the movies, antiquing, hiking - you name it! The home has beautiful lake views from nearly every room and charm galore! Come spend your next vacation at this wonderful piece of paradise. Fireplace and attic room are off limits. Max: 6 people and 3 cars is strictly enforced.
LINENS: Please note: Sheets and towels are not included with this rental. If you would like to rent sheets and/or bath towel packages from At The Lake Vacation Rentals, the cost of sheets (including arrival bed making) for this home is $100. Towel packages are $12 per person and include 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth. Please let us know at time of booking if you would like to rent sheets and bath towels as availability is limited.

The house is small but cute. The location to the shared beach was perfect. It was never crowded on weekdays. We arranged ahead of time for the beds to be made before we arrived, and towels to be supplied, which worked out well. The house gets hot and we were glad there were fans. The television could be bigger. The check in process was easy. We will be coming back.

My daughter's family Loves their stay at the cottage.

Escape to the Lake

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second year renting this property. The instructions and communication prior to arrival were clear and complete. The house is older but in good shape, comfortable and good for kids. The property was clean and stocked with basic necessities. Suggest to see what’s on hand before shopping at the local stores or farms to avoid duplication. The deck overlooks the lake and is ideal for cooking on the grill and having a relaxing dinner in. Would like to see light blocking/room darkening curtains on bedroom windows facing the lake and the sliding glass door. With no air conditioning, these would help to keep the rooms from getting too hot or uncomfortable. The convenience of a short walk down the path to the beach can’t be beat. Spend the day relaxing and swimming or explore the natural beauty of the lakes region. The homes location makes it easy to take day trips. Highly recommend taking time to drive up to the White Mountains especially if you haven’t been there before. Had good food/experiences at The Boro Baking Co., Moulton Farm, Giuseppe’s and Pie Guys Pizzeria. Overall, our experience renting this property has been very positive.

Absolutely Loved this spot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE loved renting this home. It was a perfect spot for our children and us. It is not updated, but we are fine with that! You are at the lake. It made it feel more homey to us. Pros: House is one level, making it easily accessible with children. It feels really homey and private, but essentials are not too far at all down the road! The view is incredible, the deck is amazing, and private direct beach access is perfect. The grounds of the home are beautiful and well kept. Suggestions for improvement: Ability to lock slider screen door and the storm door out back. It was too easy for children to go in and out and doors had to be closed not allowing a breeze way to happen. Ability to lock second bathroom door. A curtain for the slider. It would be great to block out the sun on hot days while at the lake to help keep the house cool. AC unit, whether a window or a mini split in just the living room to help keep the house cool. The house gets very warm regardless of fans. We ordered and paid for the linens and were short on pillow case covers, we made due with blankets to cover the pillows. Many dishes and silverware were dirty in the home. It appeared someone did not run the dishwasher and perhaps just put all the dishes back in a rush. Thankfully we had brought plastic forks and paper plates to use upon arrival and we ran the dishwasher our first night. The slider to the deck gets stuck often. Consider a washer and dryer... it is hard especially with the lake having towels and bathing suits and not being able to wash them. We found an amazing Laundry Mat called Winni Washing Well about 10 minutes from the home. They have new owners and were amazingly helpful to us. Consider leaving a cabinet or two empty. We are tall so we were fortunate to be able to reach the top of the cabinets to place our snacks.

The deck overlooks the beach and the lake and you can even see the lake from many of the windows in the home. The grounds are very pretty with gardens and a pathway down to the beach. I love the location, right between Meredith and Center Harbor.

Reviewer Comments: Well, the house was rented for our daughter and her family, for it has gotten to the point where we can not bed down the five grandsons and Mom and Dad at our house for two weeks of vacation fun. This way we get a period of breathing and a good nights sleep, before playing the entertainers for most of the day! The house was very nice for that reason and not too close to ours, so the boys could not walk over any time of day or night. I would say it was a big success. A laundry was the only thing missing in this picture/ 2 weeks and 5 boys + 2 adults is a lot of dirty clothes.
