Lighthouse Point Condo - Relax and Unwind on Tybee Island

Enjoy your stay at this charming 2nd-floor condo in the gated Lighthouse Point community. With a private balcony overlooking the Captains View, this bright and comfortable unit is perfect for families or a getaway with friends.

The master bedroom features a queen bed, cable TV and private bathroom, while the second bedroom offers two twin beds and its own bathroom. The living room has a queen size sofa sleeper and cable TV, making it a cozy spot to relax after a day at the beach. The fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer provide all the conveniences of home. Covered parking is available for two cars.

Located on the quiet North end of Tybee Island, where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean, this condo offers easy access to a large, family-friendly beach with gentle waves. Watch the ships arrive at Savannah Port or spot dolphins playing nearby almost every day.

Biggest downer was the 24 stairs to get to the unit. Tough walk for us elderly. Nice inside and pools were great.

Great location

This property was very clean and close to the beach. There are multiple pools and it isn't far from anything you may want to do on the island. Highly recommend!

Nice place in a great location

Perfect place for my wife and I and our two kids to stay for a quick visit to the coast. Great location, able to get to beach VERY quickly and it was close to a jetty which the boys loved to explore. this end of the beach wasn’t crowded on a holiday weekend either, which was great. Definitely would stay here again.

Lighthouse Point Condo

Very nice place for a short Tybee stay. We were there just for the fishing tournament this weekend. So we weren’t really in the condo, but it was very clean and welcoming when we were there!

Great location

Only issue was VRBO communication about payment, which had nothing to do with the company who manages the property. It was a great condo in a great location and I would definitely stay here again

First Time Visiting Tybee Island

Condo was as described. Great location. Used the pools several times. Rented bicycles for everyone which allowed us to get to anything we wanted to do on the island. Kids enjoyed this beach vacation over our many visits to the Gulf. We will definitely be back.

Baton Competition & the Beach

We had a great time in Tybee, always love staying at Lighthouse Point. Our unit was fantastic. Looking forward to a return visit. ** The master bathroom vent fan needs to be replaced. It’s not usable & with summer rentals around the corner, it’s going to be needed.

Would love to stay again!

We really enjoyed this stay! I think the check-in could’ve been simplified by sending the code instead of having to pick up the code like others in our group, however it’s nice to know where the rental office is. The washer and dryer were definitely a plus. The rental was clean. Toilet tissue was there to get us started, so we left the same behind. We appreciated the little dish soap as well. Maintenance was super friendly as we had an issue with the tv & the stove. The beach is not really visible, but we had family staying in a villa on the other side of the pool so we spent our time there. We will stay here again! Side note: this unit was not accessible and is on the 2nd floor.

Amazing

We had a very nice stay. Condo had some needed repairs but overall it provided a very comfortable space for us to stay in. Location was amazing. Very close to the beach. Pools were very nice. Clean and pleasant. Ladies at the office were very nice and attentive to our needs throughout our stay. The only disappointment we had was that we were there for a week and we were affected by the rains from hurricane Debby that hit Florida that week. We couldn’t do much due to the rain but it was still very warm outside. We wanted to use the pools in the rain since we couldn’t go to the beach. But the pools were closed from Sunday afternoon to Thursday morning. I wish they were open since the weather wasn’t bad anymore and it was just raining at that point and with breaks. Other than that we had a great time.

Family Vacation

The condo was a nice size. The shower curtain I. Bathroom had shampoo all over it. The toilet paper holder was broke. Only one side if toaster worked. The oven controls were caved in. The manager said she knew about the broken items. Part for stove was ordered but said nothing of the other items. Make sure you bring extra toilet paper and trash bags, they only supply one. Said you could watch dolphins playing in water. The only way was to take a dolphin tour. Could bearly see ocean from balcony. Ocean was within an easy walk. Never saw dolphins from there.

This unit does not face the ocean and is not advertised as an oceanfront unit. We only supply a start-up kit and that is mentioned in the confirmation letter that you received prior to arrival.

Overall okay

Check in was quick and easy. Once settled I noticed in the kitchen that several dishes appeared to be dirty, dishes/silverware were obviously not put back in the proper location and the plates were still wet from the previous wash. The kitchen drawers are very difficult to open as they do not have handles. The rental facility only provides 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 trash bag and 1 dish detergent packet, regardless of length of stay. Because we were unaware from the listing that we would have a limited amount of supplies of these items we called the office to inquire. We informed the staff of the condition of the kitchen and that we were just curious about specific items as I was having to wash all the dishes again. The management was great! They apologized for the condition of the kitchen, was going to look into who had left it in that way and were very accommodating to provide the additional items needed. As far as entertainment, the wifi lags especially at night and watching anything on the TV is frustrating. The TV has hundreds of channels but you can’t watch the majority of them because they require a subscription. The pools were in good condition and the pathways to the beach seemed to be kept up. Overall not a bad experience but not the best.

Moving vacation, all work and no play

Was to be at Lighthouse Point 8B for 5 days. On the 2nd day had water line and tank break ad to move to 1805 2nd Dr. for 1 night. Then moved back to Lighthouse Point for the remainder of our vacation. I spent more time moving in and out than sightseeing. What a waste of money. Talked to VRBO, they said I would have to speK to the owners. They gave never gotten back with me. Talked to Tybee Island Rentals and they could not help me. I should receive some amount back (3 days) for my inconvenience on my vacation. No help for VRBO, Tybee Island Rentals, or the owners.
