Just minutes from Cold Storage Beach, along with many other ocean- and bay-side beaches, this historic and newly refurbished home on half an acre is a perfect getaway for as many as 10 guests.
Hedges House features five bedrooms, four baths, large living room, dining room, library, and spacious enclosed porch, in addition to an eat-in kitchen, old-world pantry, brick patio w/ table and chairs, outdoor shower and an open garden surrounded by 30’ hedges for pristine privacy in your summer escape on the Outer Cape.
Take in walks to nearby Truro Vineyards or dine out in N. Truro center. Pass by nostalgic Salty’s Market or check out the sweet somethings at Chequessett chocolatier. Or how about some local honey? Maybe bike trails through windswept pine trees and sand dunes, the organic farm stands, seafood markets, art galleries and fine restaurants in nearby Wellfleet or festive Provincetown are more your speed?
Whether you’re looking to unwind, settle into a good book or just listen to the sweet air through the giant willow tree, the charm and spaces of Hedges House doesn’t disappoint – and neither does kayaking in Pamet Harbor on a cool morning, exploring the landscape of Edward Hopper's paintings or taking in a show at the Wellfleet Drive-In. Bachelorette Weekend

Andrea’s property was absolutely perfect. The neighborhood was quaint and the location was perfect. Short 15-20 min drive to Wellfleet, and even shorter drive to Ptown. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. Andrea has literally everything you need! I will for sure be back! Thank you so much for an incredible stay Andrea!

Excellent House

Well maintained old house in Truro. Lots of bedrooms. Plenty of open spaces in the house. Lovely house. Beds and linens were good. Washer and dryer worked well. Beautiful backyard. Had a great time.

Restorative family reunion!

We had the most wonderful stay at Andrea’s home in Truro. The location was incredible, with the Salty Market right around the corner, and Truro Vineyards and Cold Storage Beach all within the neighborhood. Cold Storage beach and the pond beside it are magical. The neighborhood is peaceful and the property was quiet and relaxing to come back to after busy days! The airflow in the house at night made sleeping so easy, and for an older home, we couldn’t believe how quiet it was for our whole group to move around in the morning without waking others. Andreas home was spotless, and we truly enjoyed the historic charm from the wide floorboards to the beautiful furnishings. There was plenty of space for our group to eat together, or to relax separately. The kitchen was very well equipped, which we appreciated. Andrea was responsive and helpful with one minor question we had. Her welcome letter was really thorough and helpful so that we could enjoy the home comfortably and know what she needed from us during check in and check out. No guesswork. We really felt at home for the week. Thank you, Andrea!!

Perfect Bachelorette Weekend

I planned a bachelorette weekend with 8 adults and needed a property with plenty of space and bedrooms. Not only was the home beautiful and well kept, it provided plenty of room for everyone spread out and gather as needed. Highly recommend for larger groups. Great space just a short drive from downtown Provincetown.

Wedding weekend getaway

Way better than a hotel for attending weekend wedding festivities! The home was so charming & spacious that our daughter, the bride, decided to join us for a pre-wedding brunch, and bridal prep the morning of her big day. Andrea was accommodating and quick to respond to any questions both before we arrived and during our stay. Thank you!!

Stunning House, Amazing Location!

Such a charming home with beautiful decor and gorgeous garden! We traveled a long distance to spend the week on Cape Cod and arriving to Hedges House was the absolute best reward. The hosts are super kind, have beautiful taste and have truly elevated the holiday home vibe by having beach towels, games, beach toys, etc ready for you. The location could not be more ideal as it is close to the Vineyards, beach and adorable market. If you have young children who wake up early, the sound does travel within the house so pack ear plugs. Other than that, enjoy this absolute gem of a home.

Lovely stay in Truro

We had a lovely week at Hedges House. Andrea is an extremely responsive host and very organized. The home was clean and well equipped and there was ample space for our large family, 6 adults and 3 children. The backyard was a nice place for the kids to play. We appreciated the close proximity to some our favorite ocean and bay beaches, as well as the Truro Vineyard. Parking was a bit tricky as we had 2 SUVs and a truck, and there was not much room. The wifi was a bit spotty at times too. Overall, a really wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend Andrea as a host without hesitation.

Fantastic week in Truro!

What a wonderful week and many thanks to our hosts Andrea and Piero. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home, it was a fantastic location. We were able to explore the wonderful beaches in Truro, walk over to Truro Vineyard, or take a quick drive to Provincetown! Beautiful charming house

Had a lovely long weekend at this house which is in the perfect location. 10 minutes to Ptown, and short walk to local beach and truro vineyard. The house is a refurbished old big house with plenty of sleeping arrangements and space for a big group. The backyard is great for sitting outside, grilling, and there is also croquet. The house comes with beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers! The host was super responsive and kind, highly recommend staying here!!

When my husband and I first met, I looked for a special place in the Truro area for our first vacation together. I found this house, we rented it for a week and fell in love with it and the area. 16 years and 2 children later, we have been lucky to purchase it and now maintain it as a vacation favorite for ourselves and anyone who might enjoy it. I hope you do enjoy it. For us, little compares to the air, light and charm of the house and the area.
