All Banyan Harbor 2 bedroom 1.5 bath Condos offer a full kitchen, Air Conditioning, Wireless access, Free Tennis, Free Shuffleboard, Parking and the greatest Pool View on the island. Each unit offers lots of family space, Cable TV, CD/Video Players, Movie Rentals and ample space for the entire family.

The Greatest aspect of Banyan Harbor is it's proximity to Kauai's shopping center and central island location. You’re within walking distance to Kalapaki Bay, close to the East and West Kauai's beaches and minutes away from our only island airport. Don't worry you don't have any air traffic noise at all.

Amazing Location

The location of the resort was just right. We had access to shopping centers, farmers market, and beaches within minutes of the resort.

Banyan Harbor Resort

Excellent location, facilities, amenities, and very helpful staff. Only complaint was that sofa bed was very uncomfortable to both sit and to sleep on. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay close to airport

The condo was great! Staff on site were friendly and helpful. Loved the location, just don’t follow the directions from the VRBO app, google the name of the property.

very enjoyable with a surprise expense

I was surprised that upon check-in we were charged another expense of 255.99. Can someone explain why this was not pointed out to us upon reserving and making our final payment on the condo?

Great Views

The property is centrally located, making it easy to get to places. The down side is the noisy roosters and getting linens exchanged. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Great location for us. Property was good for all six of us.

The only experience that was a bit inconvenient was the fire three units from us. They were going to accommodate us with another room but we were able to stay in the same room for our last night.

Great location and price point

This rental is convenient and reasonably priced. It had everything we needed for an easy stay. It’s not fancy but I’d rather have a modest place to crash at than use extra money on a fancy condo. The downside (although it didn’t bother me) was the stairs from the parking to the unit. There aren’t any alternatives to getting to the rental so be prepared for the steps! Otherwise, I’d defiantly stay here again!

Property was convenient, close to restaurants, etc, except had to walk up three steep flights of stairs to front door of unit and then two more steep flights of stairs to the bedroom which we overlooked when making the selection.

Only dislike was the refrigerator made a noise all night long. So person sleeping on couch should be a hard sleeper. Also when renting we missed the part about resort fees. Our fault even though we didn't use any because we were all seniors. Enjoyed our stay.

Banyon Harbour Stay

The property was a great home base from which to explore the island. Its central location with proximity to shopping and attractions was excellent. It was clean, well maintained, and had all the features we were looking for. One disappointment was that our particular Lanai in building D was located just off of the main harbour access road. The constant noise of cars and big trucks (many using engine retarder brakes to slow for the intersection) made the Lanai unusable and the bed room on that side very loud. Other than that though we enjoyed staying at the property.

As always it was great!

This was are second time booking at the Banyan and to be honest the condo looked exactly the same as the one we rented before (tbh it might have been the same one). It's not a luxury condo, but there is the salt water pool and it's the perfect location to visit all the cool places (we try to hit every beach to snorkel during the week). Washer/Dryer is in the unit which makes it very convenient to not have to lug wet clothes back to the airport and as always we leave a supply of detergent for the next guest coming in..

Stay would’ve been better if they didn’t give me the building in back with climbing 29-30 stairs.

I’ve been renting through Banyan Harbor all my staycation but the only problem is Dryer wasn’t hot enough to dry my laundry and I’ve always had this problem in all my staycation with you folks. Otherwise everything was good. My next staycation, I’m hoping for the building K because the scenery is better, closer to pool & no need deal with climbing 29-30 stairs like my last stay here.

Good location, eh host.

I have stayed at several Banyan Harbor VRBO's previously. This particular one was average at best. I had no communication with the property owner at all prior to by arrival, which was fine, however, other property owners were far more proactive. When I checked in I was a bit surprised by the amount of the additionaltaxes and fees. I was confused as I thought I had already paid all the fees associated with the rental. For reference, I already paid the cost of the daily rental, plus taxes, plus a service fee and plus a PROPERTY fee. I was very respectful when I asked the concierge to explain the additional fees. To be clear, the taxes and fees totaled almost doubled in cost on top of the nightly room rate. The concierge was unable to explain and attempted to contact the property owner without success. Now, to be fair, the posting on VRBO does say "be aware that the front desk will collect Amenity fees and Hawaii GET tax," however, there is no indication how much that will be. Also, the "property fees" added to the VRBO checkout are very misleading. This was my question to the concierge. All I wanted to make sure is that I wasn't double paying for the "property fees" I had already paid. The concierge was very nice and ended up eliminating the amenity fees (which I did not ask her to do). The property owner, Nancy Giannini, however, took it upon herself to send a condescending email. Which, by the way was the ONLY communication I had with her at all. She said, "I understand you got upset at the front desk for the taxes that Hawaii charges. These taxes are not included in VRBO. It is clearly stated in the description under properties that HI get tax and amenity fees will be collected. Krystal informed me that she refunded you the amenity fees which was very gracious of her because you were upset. There is no need to take it out on her. I hope you get the Hawaii aloha." Well, I was not upset. I did not "take in out" on anyone. I simply and respectfully asked about the fees to ensure I wasn't paying twice. Although Ms. Giannini's rental property suited our needs, I would not recommend you rent her property. Compared to other condos I rented at the Banyan Harbor, It is bare bones. That in combination with Ms. Giannini's singular and discourteous communication leads me to believe she is not an attentive host. All in all, the property was fine but her comments were not appreciated.

I would love to give this place 5 stars; however, the experience alters that. I booked this last minute as it is advertised. It had 2 bedrooms, which were very hard to find, and it was cheaper across all sites I checked. I booked and hopped on the plane. When I arrived, I was told I had to pay extra fees (almost 400) and when I asked about it, I was told they could call and ask and before I could say yes my sweet son paid the fees. Now here's the gag. All bookings, according to them, coming in are booked through Hawaiian Travel Club, and Turo is banned from the airport, so you might have to take a taxi/uber or their personal employee taxi service to go pick up your rental on Price St. I am mortified my son had to pay extra for the trip I booked to go visit him. Also, some drunk Samoian guy made me very uncomfortable, and I had to leave the smoking area the second night I was there. Outside of that, the room was nice and the area was very quiet and clean. Loved the chickens running around everywhere, and the mini forest in the back by the smoking area is so amazing.I would love a refund of the fees that weren't mentioned in the booking. These issues cost them 2 stars. Should be less the extra fees took away from the budget, greatly.

Great for Small Groups

My spouse and I stayed here with our two friends. The size of the condo was perfect for our little group and the location was pretty central to where we wanted to go on the island. The view of the harbor was nice, and overall this was a great place for what we needed.
