Pukalani a Marriott Grand Residence

Our second home is located 100 feet above the Pacific Ocean, with mountain views across the bay, and two ocean front golf holes of the 18 hole Jack Nicklaus, now called Hokuala, golf course in front of you. Even the back door has a great view of the 38 acre Kauai Lagoons with manicured grounds and secluded walking trails. Our home is called 'Pukalani' which is Hawaiian for 'Heaven's Door.' The minute you walk through the door, you will see 'Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away'. You will know you are in paradise. Kauai has many fun activities, but you will find it hard to leave the beauty and amenities of Pukalani. Our condo is the perfect place to stay if you are attending a meeting or event at the Marriott Kauai Beach Club. We are just a short walk or shorter drive to the Marriott Hotel. Why stay in a hotel room when you can be staying in a new two bedroom condo with a gourmet kitchen and breath taking views.
This is the only villa at the Marriott Grand Residence at Kauai Lagoons offered for rental. Our rental fee is a great bargain compared to renting a hotel room, so book early to guarantee a reservation and your perfect dream vacation.

Also a free shuttle is available for pick up and return to the Marriott Hotel and the airport.

Our stay at Pukalani was spectacular! Our daughter said it was the best vacation she has ever had in her entire life! The view is spectacular and cannot be beat. The unit itself is spacious, beautiful, a gourmet kitchen with everything you would want, ultra comfortable king size beds, and top shelf linens. The pool is an oasis. We have stayed in many, many places on the island of Kauai and this is by far the best! Thank you, Ron, for sharing your home with us!

Thank you for such an amazing stay. I have been coming to Kauai every year since the early 1990s. This is hands down the best view of any place I have ever stayed. The pool area is gorgeous but the room is so incredible you don’t even need to leave. It was immaculate. Thanks for the coffee too! I have never wanted to stay in Lihue all these years, but your place was the exception. I’ll def be back. :) Although there is no beach here, it’s a much quieter laid back and peaceful property than the Waiohai. I love both but these are the benefits here.

Amazing View and Great Location

The views on this place live up to the expectations. Absolutely gorgeous neighborhood, close to everything, yet secluded and quiet. The place was fully stocked, large bathrooms, and great amenities. We slept with the window open to the soothing sounds of the ocean and enjoyed the golf course. The host was very responsive!

Wonderful Week at Pukalani

We spend an amazing week at Pukalani! The condo was wonderful. When we were not exploring the island we were on the lanai, which has fabulous views and is a wonderful spot for enjoying your meals. Pukalani is a great location with many amenities near by. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Wonderful Relaxing Times

The pics did not exaggerate! Beautiful views from the lanai (even when raining). Location was close to all amenities and the kitchen provided almost everything you needed. The owner was wonderful and communicates quickly. Would definitely stay here again with no hesitation!

Excellent property! Two couples 50 had a wonderful 5 day stay at this property. Views were amazing and as advertised. In the heart of Lihue and close to many activities. Enjoyed the pool and Hualani's for dinner on multiple occasions were that were in the resort \ golf course property. Condo had very nice furnishings and everything that you need in the kitchen! The property was near the airport, so we did get to see plane's landing and lots of helicopters going high overhead on the way to island tours. The noise was minimal from these and gave something interesting to watch while enjoying the incredible views. Condo construction was solid so didn't hear much while inside. I will say we didn't expect all the wild chicken's \ rosters on the island - needs to be the official bird of Kauai. Bonus was the beautiful drive in and out of the property though the golf course with huge trees, flowers and manicured lawn. Overall great stay and can't wait to come back some day.

AMAZING

Outstanding view from this beautiful ocean front condo that is stocked with everything you need. We have been traveling to Kaua’i for twenty-seven years and this is by far the best place we have rented to date. We will come back again and again and again. The owners are amazing to work with and very thoughtful. We highly recommend this property.

Amazing property!

This condo is simply amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. Very spacious snd comfortable for two couples. The view and overall property were outstanding. I would definitely book this unit again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Amazing vacation spot!

Ron’s place was immaculate. It was exactly what you see in the pictures. Super close to the airport, restaurants, shops, and beaches. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. I texted Ron to ask a question and he called me immediately and was very nice. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Kauai! We will definitely be back.

Simply amazing condo on Kaua'i

Thank you for sharing your home with us! The condo was simply amazing for our recent vacation in Kauai with friends. The views from the patio were better than expected! When we were not exploring the island, we spent our time on the patio enjoying the views, breeze, and sounds of the ocean. Would 100% look to stay at this place again next time we return. Sunny and Spectacular!

Fantastic place! We loved it! Ridiculously amazing views from the huge lanai, great south beach weather, fun pool and gym, easy fast access to conveniences, beautifully decorated, nice heavy doors, subzero wolf appliances, super clean, great parking, easy scenic drive to anywhere you’d like to go. Nothing but raves! So grateful we found it. Ron is also a great host! We will be back!!!

Kauai vacation

Condo is exactly as described, beautiful place. We thoroughly enjoyed the complex. I’m not sure if it’s a Covid thing or not but the kitchen didn’t have any kind of seasoning or spices , not a problem at all but have been to some places where everyone dated them and left them for the next group. Someone had reviewed and said that there was a espresso machine, there wasn’t one when we were there. Again no problem as the coffee maker got a work out! We will definitely attempt to stay there again.

Beautiful location. Just like in the main photo.

The condo is in a great location and the photos are just what you’ll find. Sitting out on the patio in the evening and having a drink was a great way to wind down. I was able to see whales from the patio on two occasions, which was cool. Many places to eat nearby and the fully stocked kitchen worked well. Costco and Safeway within a 10 minute commute. Another note about the weather. This little corner of the island seemed to get the lightest amount of rain. We did have a few downpours but it appeared to rain harder across the way and more frequently as well. It is a very nice location to enjoy Kauai.

Rainbows after the gentle shower

I hardly ever give 5 Stars, however Pukalani is that place! We have been here several times and it feels like home. We have breakfast, and any other meals, on the lanai. We watch the sailboats and the cruise ships come in and out. We had our usual rainbow meet us in the morning after a gentle rain. And joyous birds singing all around. Since we both have bad knees now, it was fun critiquing the golfers, and comparing swings. We had a lovely break. Our only regret was not being able to stay on Island longer. Thanks again and again for welcoming us home. I'm sure we will return with our grandchildren when they are more appreciative of the beauty. Mahalo dear friends.

Stunning view

This property is beautiful! We are a group of 4 first time visitors to Hawaii. After a long day of travel, the fatigue melted away once we stepped into the condo. The view took our breath away! We stood on the balcony in awe. Spent every morning drinking coffee and taking in the view. The condo was beautifully furnished and comfortable. I have issues with insomnia but slept like a baby every night. The beds are that comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need to cook a meal. The owner also provided very nice beach chairs and bags for a day at the beach. The resort is centrally located. We spent time on each part of the island. Was easy to get around. The condo is near the airport and it was fun to watch planes coming in. Also saw a few cruise ships sail past. The owner is easy to communicate with. I truly hope we are able to return to this beautiful island and stay at this property!

Awesome Condo with Amazing Views

The condo and views are as exactly as advertised and our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Ron's place was spotless, comfortable and included all the "extra's" one typically needs to stock up on when renting. The location is just around the corner from the airport (but not noisy) and convenient to shopping (Target, Costco), restaurants, and beaches. It is also a good central place to easily get to many popular activities and explore the entire island from. We enjoyed spending time on the lanai and were lucky one day to see a full rainbow after a short rain. We enjoyed watching airplanes and even a cruise ship right from the lanai. We made daily use of the on-site gym, pool, and walking trails around the beautiful grounds and golf course. Running Waters Beach is directly below the unit and across the golf course. It is a short walk to get to and a bit of a steep hill to go down but an awesome place for pictures. I wouldn't recommend swimming there because it's quite rough. We had a couple questions before our stay and Ron responded quickly. We hope to return someday and highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Kauai!

My stay at Pukalani

Our first trip to Hawaii exceeded our expectations. Pukalani at the Marriott Grand Residence in Lihue is a beautiful, well maintained and luxurious condominium, overlooking the Nawiliwili Harbor. We watched several cruise ships glide into the harbor and dock. The beauty of Kauai is overwhelming and we were able to see the very best while sitting at our lanai over our morning coffee. The grounds at the Marriott are stunning and promise to improve, although it is hard to believe it could get much better. There are several restaurants in the nearby vicinity, and we especially enjoyed our Mai Tais at Duke's overlooking the sunset, located right next to the Marriott. We enjoyed an evening at Smith's Luau, ate Kalua Pork and Macaroni Salad, and watched the multicultural Hawaiian dancers with a small volcano erupting in the background. On our travels to the the North Shore, we had a chance to take in Hanalei Bay where South Pacific with Mitzi Gaynor was filmed, with a stop at the lighthouse bird sanctuary. At the end of the day, after our tourist activities, we we able to come back to our beautiful condo, sit by the pool, watching the palm trees sway with the sounds of a variety of birds. It was like living at Disneyland for a week, only this was the real thing, a true paradise. Overall, our stay at the Pukalani at the Marriott Grand Residence excellent, and we can't wait to come back to Hawaii.

Ron's place was perfect

We had a marvelous time at Ron's place and the island of Kauai. It was even better than the pictures indicated. We did alot of hiking around the island and this vrbo was a wonderful home base. I asked Ron several questions leading up to our vacation their and his responses were quick and very helpful. If ever on the island again, we will stay there without question. My wife and I live in the flat area of Central Illinois. We fell in love with Kauai on our first visit in 1976 and have been back many times since then. We purchased this new condo in 2009 as a place to renew our spirit each year, and also to entertain our children and grandchildren. We know Pukalani will do the same for you.

For years on our annual vacations to Kauai, we would take walks by this location and stop and marvel at the beauty of the view. Finally after 12 years of waiting, Marriott built this beautiful condo on the location we have loved for so many years. We purchased early and obtained what we feel is the best view.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The condo is close to great shopping, airport, movies, local farmer's markets, yet it feels so remote and peaceful. The full gourmet kitchen makes dining in a pleasure with a spectacular view. We also enjoy walking the beautiful trails along the Lagoons and watching for wildlife and showy tropical flowers. The ocean is located just outside our door. Free parking is behind our building and only a few steps from our second story condo. Steps and an elevator or available for easy access.
