This two-story home sleeps up to eight guests between four bedrooms.

Comfort awaits in the expansive primary suite, featuring a king bed as well as an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, a double vanity, and a deep garden tub.

Two guest bedrooms have a queen bed, while the another features a full-size daybed and a twin trundle -- all three are connected by a sunny outdoor walkway. One guest bathroom holds a walk-in shower, while the other is fitted with a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

The beautifully landscaped grounds include plenty of room for a game of catch, and the fenced backyard includes a convenient outdoor shower.

Host a cookout on the big wraparound deck, configured with umbrella-shaded seating and a three-burner gas grill. Then gather on the scenic balcony to watch the stars come out.

Driveway parking is available for two vehicles. Street parking may also be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, this Rio Del Mar home overlooks the lovely Seascape Golf Club.

Your enviable coastal locale is 4 short blocks from Seascape Beach and the shops and eateries of Seascape Village.

It's also a quick trip to Capitola Village (10 minutes), Monterey/Carmel (35 minutes), and Los Gatos/Silicon Valley (45 minutes).

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

I didn't want to leave!
This home was the perfect spot for our family getaway. The location is perfect for day trips to Monterey/ Carmel and Santa Cruz. The home is comfortable, provided all that we needed in way of amenities, and offered us a place to call home for a few days. Traveling with a 2 year-old can be challenging, so I appreciate the dark bedrooms [good for getting the little guy to sleep!], the open floor plan for play, and the decor being family friendly. I believe it is time to do a little work in the backyard, however. The "grass" is heavily riddled with gopher holes making it impossible to play on. I was so fearful that someone would break and ankle. In addition, the outdoor furniture is broken in the seats and I wasn't sure if sitting on it would be a good idea [even with a pillow on top of the broken pieces]. The grill area is great and the grill was awesome for cooking our Tomahawk Steak! I neglected to bring outlet covers with me, and although the floor outlets do come with awesome covers, I would suggest those with children bring along a few for spots where the outlets are accessible to little fingers. The house could use a few more dish towels, but we didn't need much in way of towels or cooking equipment. Everything was there, more than we anticipated, too! I would suggest going to the house first and perusing the cabinets so that you don't purchase things you won't need. Not sure if people are comfortable using coffee from another stay, but oil, spices, all were there! Could use some steak knives, though. We noticed there was a downstairs bedroom and I would challenge the owners to consider having that space available for those who cannot use the stairs - for us, I would have loved to have my 80 year-old Mom with us, but I knew the bedrooms were on the second floor, so we opted not to include her on this trip. The information on the house spoke of a security camera - we never found it to "unplug it". This did make us a little uncomfortable knowing that a camera might actually be on during our entire stay. We did notice that the entry way light fixture needs repair and the water pressure in the upstairs hall-way bathroom was a little weak. However, the water gets super hot, which was GREAT! The house really was stocked well with cleaning supplies, paper towels, etc. Really appreciate not having to go back out to purchase things. We plan on booking again! It was wonderful to "play house" in this beautiful space. The information for the TV is out of date, as the TV downstairs is a ROKU TV and some remotes are not required for this TV. I would be nice to add some other channels that we had accounts for such as Peacock.

Amenities had a lot to be desired
We were missing many basic items like kitchen sponge and trash bags . Everything was insufficient- there was only 6 towels with 8 adults. The shower didn’t work, and propane ran out and didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor fireplace. Overall we didn’t get to enjoy house as we were constantly having to call Vacasa and went to store to buy what was missing .

Great Home and Location
We know this area well as we have often vacationed in Aptos and Santa Cruz. Location and surrounding area were not at all a surprise, and still much loved by our family. This home was great for our needs. Photos are spot on and current.

Perfect for families
This house was just just as the photos represented. We had a family get together with a variety of ages. This house has a bonus room upstairs which made it easy for some to retreat when necessary. All the drawers are labeled in the kitchen so it was so easy to find things. The only thing that was a problem for our particular family was the Wi-Fi. It is not good at all. My husband was trying to work in the day and it kicked him off about every 5-10 min. We had trouble watching movies as a family because it would do the same thing when we tried to watch a movie or tv. If you don’t need internet then this house is a 5 star for sure. I would stay here over and over but maybe not when my husband has to work.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
