Kona Ali'i unit #212, come enjoy being in the heart of downtown Kona, next to Coconut Grove. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit is located on the iconic Ali'i Drive. Enjoy the lanai with garden and pool views, a fully stocked kitchen, and WIFI.

This unit is centrally located on Ali'i drive and is excellent for travelers who want to be in Kona. The primary bedroom has a queen bed with a private bathroom, and the bathroom has a shower and bathtub combination.

The guest room has a full-size bed and is located across from the kitchen. The living area has ample seating for guests and a television for guests' use. Have a sit-down dinner at the dining table inside or dine al fresco at the lanai table.

The kitchen is stocked with to make dinner or any meal at home and allows you to keep in the conversation while cooking. Sit out on the lanai and listen to the birds or enjoy the pool and garden view.


Please note:
-This unit does not have air conditioning
-The guest room is not 100% soundproof as the wall doesn't go all the way to ceiling (5inch gap)

Good Last Minute Find.

Property is old, and it is apparent. However, it was clean and maintained quite well. Most of our time spent away from the unit.

Lovely location

This property was as advertised. It is in an older building and there is the related wear and tear, but everything is well kept and fully functional. The location is fantastic, steps from anything you might need. The view from the lanai is surprisingly great, as you see over the pool and to the ocean, including the sunset (at least when we were there in February). Once on island, the property managers primarily communicate via text, which I appreciated. They were responsive within business hours for normal communication. The small, semi-open, second bedroom was perfect for our toddler. As mentioned, there is no A/C, but with fans and cross breeze the conditions were perfect. The pool was well maintained and heated to about air temp, so it was a great place to hang out with the family. The grill area at the pool was great, with newer grills and plenty of propane. Overall, we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great location

Excellent location, easy walk to all of Ali'i drive Kona. Easy, safe and covered parking spot. The unit is safe and nice big lanai with views of pool and ocean beyond. The rooftop is nice for sunsets. Honestly the unit needs some upgrades (esp. carpet replacement) but good value for the price. Thank you.

Major Renovations - You get what you pay for...how sad!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival my guest experienced someone on our balcony climbing over to his/or the next balcony? Unacceptable. Requested for another unit cuz of not being safe at #212. But to no avail. I Pamela remained at Unit #212 for (5) nites, by myself after my 2 guests left for home.Drapery, black portable fans n book cases very dusty, no AC, very hot,had to leave glass balcony door open to breath fresh air. Screen door locked at all times. I would not suggest anyone with breathing conditions to stay there. It needs a new screen front door, a major condo paint job,wipe down of furnitures n closet doors, new lighting, AC unit would be great. Get rid of all portable fans to save on Electric bill?Then this will probably be an excellent unit! Oh need to get new carpet n sofa? Please!!! That carpet is filthy, it makes the place hotter n you breathing in all that accumulated toxin n dust in carpet.This is good advice...please take it to heart n considerate it. Then I would consider recommending this unit!

Old condo - needs updates

Best thing about this condo is the location right on Ali’i drive by restaurants and shopping. Worst thing is the condo is old, needs updates, the lighting is very poor in the bedrooms. A new fan on the Lanai is badly needed. The furnishings in this condo are very low budget. For artwork- posters taped to the walls! The master bedroom window is facing the outside walkway and playground. Very noisy. Some of the beach chairs are old and broken and should be thrown away. The Lanai is large and has a great view of the pool. And, the swimming pool at this property is very nice!

Extremely Dissatisfied

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property is in need of repairs and general maintenance. Carpets are dirty, appliances are not in good working order, paint is chipping off walls, electrical is not working properly and unsafe. Also discovered there were no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors! Notified the management team and they did install them during our stay. Although we had been informed that there was no air conditioning, the one window in the bedroom opened to a noisy hallway/driveway/playground making it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. Lots of stairs.

The Location was key... Condo was great!

Great location But Noisy

This is a great location in town, walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. No AC but there are fans in all rooms. Would recommend staying here in the winter months and not summer! The master bedroom is next to hallway so pretty noisy. The carpet is stained and there were cobwebs under the bar counter.

Very hot house no air conditioner Very miserable House was clean there was a stain on the carpet when we move the couch it was covering the stain they do watch you on the camera was pretty creepy managers watching property they said that one of our vehicle was leaking oil but it was not leaking oil that whole parking lot is full of oil apartment was clean just very hot.

Old unit, needs upgrade

Location is great. Listing is accurate. The doors are original from when the property was built. Hinges, many fixtures, doorknobs tarnished from being at sea level for 50 years. Carpet very old. Housekeeping did as good as one could expect with that old of property. Vertical blinds need to go. Damaged, difficult to use with all the grit in the pulleys and ropes of the blinds. Need to put in hardwood floors, replace doors. Limited furniture in bedrooms. Maps were taped on wall for decor. Good deal for a 2 bedroom in that location. I'm sure prop. manager has spoken to owner about the above items. It wouldn't take much to upgrade the unit.
