Green oasis with pool and view of the mountains of fire

The over 200 year old finca was built in the traditional Lanzarote country style. It is surrounded by a 2000 m2 exotic garden with many island-typical plants and trees, including 28 palm trees, many of which are house-high. This green oasis, rare on the island, is framed by a wall, so that guests experience absolute intimacy in the patio and garden.

Casa Lisboa is the main house of the Finca Mimosa. With the main entrance and large garden area, it is a self-contained 150 m2 holiday home, which is built in a horseshoe shape around a lush patio. In the middle of the garden is an organically designed, 30 m2 pool that can be used exclusively by the guests of Casa Lisboa. A bench in and by the pool enables relaxed bathing fun.

There are two bedrooms on the second floor, which are accessible via separate external stairs and each of which is connected to a spacious terrace.

The first bedroom has a typical Lanzarote brick bed and a cupboard shelf. Connected to the bedroom is a spacious anteroom that merges into the south-west facing terrace and offers a wonderful view of the fire mountains. The bathroom is also right next to the bedroom and from here you can enjoy the view into the distance and the garden.

The second bedroom is on the opposite side of the Casa Lisboa with visual contact to the terrace of the first bedroom. The adjoining south-east facing terrace offers sun from morning to evening and allows a view of the garden and the church tower of Teguise, which shows itself between the palm trees. In addition to the terrace, this bedroom also has a small south-facing balcony, which also offers a view of the mountains of fire.

The 30 m2 living room with an open wooden gable is equipped with a long table, which also offers enough space for a meal in a large group. There is also a brick corner sofa that invites you to read. Connected to the living room is a 20 m2 fireplace room with a pull-out couch. A wonderful retreat for cozy evening hours.

A second large bathroom on the ground floor surprises with a masonry bathtub tiled with mosaic tiles. The spacious and well-equipped kitchen in country style invites you to cook. 

The entire garden and pool area is completely protected from view thanks to a wall. This means that guests enjoy the luxury of having plenty of space and tranquility in their own oasis, depending on their mood, and benefiting as they please from the gastronomic and cultural offers in the nearby historic town of Teguise.

Finca Mimosa is within walking distance of excellent restaurants, bars, boutiques, 2 organic shops and the legendary Sunday market.
Sandy beaches in the immediate vicinity are Costa Teguise (16 km) or the breathtaking bay of Famara (6 km), which can be easily reached by car.
