Wooded Bliss on 1 acre with lake access across the street and sleeps up to 10!!
Wooded Bliss has lake access across the street and sleeps up to 10.
Greers Ferry Lake is ranked among one of the cleanest, clearest lakes in the nation. And whether you’re visiting for its famous fishing, boating, tubing, skiing, cliff jumping, or hiking, you’re sure to find plenty of fun for the whole group at this well-appointed home base!
Our home is at the end of a quiet cove, nestled in the middle of an acre of "wooded bliss," hence our home’s name, and you’ll find yourself getting the best night’s sleep you’ve had in a while here.
Enjoy a cup of coffee from one of the multiple porch areas while watching wildlife like deer, squirrels and even a peacock that regularly visit. The regularly stocked feeders around the property also attract multiple varieties of birds and you can see eagles flying over the lake at certain times of the year. You can get to the lake in 90 seconds to swim or lazily watch boats and kayaks sail across it all day. (make sure you stay to the right of the neighbors property). End every day with smores or a warm beverage around the beautiful firepit lovingly built entirely with local field stone. Wood for the firepit and gas and charcoal grill are available to use.
This home has plenty of room to stretch out and it's unique split-level set-up is also perfect for two families or to keep the kid’s rowdiness and noise downstairs away from the adults.
• The top floor has a large common area, kitchen, and spacious dining room.
• The second floor has Bedroom 1 (Queen bed with door to bathroom) and Bedroom 2 (Queen bed).
• The bottom floor has an additional common area with Bedroom 3 (Twin beds) and Bedroom 4 (Queen bed). There is also a bathroom with a washer and dryer.
• There are additional sleeping areas in Common Area 1 (Queen sofa bed) and Common Area 2 (Futon full).
PARKING: Ample parking in the driveway.
RECREATION
• There’s plenty of room to bring your own boat, or rent one at Lacey’s Narrows Marina (1.5 miles) Shiloh Marina (4.7 miles), Peters Sugar Loaf Marina (7.2 miles) or Fairfield Bay Marina (17.2 miles).
• There’s swimming and beach fun at Sandy Beach (26.3 miles) or Woolly Hollow State Park (28.8 miles).
• Fairfield Bay, which is just 15 minutes away, has 90 miles of trails for ATV/UTV lovers, miniature golf, and bowling.
• Enjoy some of the best trout fishing in the world on The Little Red River or try Catchin Crappie Guide Service (1.2 miles) or Capt Mick Greers Ferry Lake Fishing Guide Service (14.5 miles)
• There are so many beautiful, well-traveled trails such as Sugarloaf Mountain Trail in Heber Springs (shuttle available from Fairfield Bay Marina), Bridal Veil Falls or Cornelius Falls. And you can visit the hatchery while hiking at Collins Creek.
• If you're up for a scenic drive, Mountain View is only 45 minutes away. Enjoy a visit to Blanchard Springs Caverns, Ozark Folk Center, or Loco Ropes while you are there.
• Look for antiques in Heber Springs or along US-65 S on the way to Conway.
• Visit the Mark Martin Museum in Batesville.
