Spent 3 nights at Sunset Pointe with a group of 11. House was beautiful and clean with gorgeous lake views. The kitchen was very well equipped. Spent any time when the weather was decent hanging out on the dock. Outside had so many levels of decks with plenty of seating. We would absolutely return to Sunset Pointe. It gave us all a much needed long weekend of rest and relaxation with friends and family.

Great Stay

Stairs to the lake can be a challenge from someone who is not mobile, but loved this place regardless. Will be back next year.

The house is in need of a deep cleaning. The location is wonderful and the layout is very nice. But it shows wear and the cleaning is superficial. Worst of all, the management company never responded to my messages or emails. I wasn’t calling with a complaint and told them so in the message. I was calling to report a broken drawer and a safety issue for their future reference. Nice place but there are probably better for the price

It was lovely. Fantastic view of Deep Creek. Amazing living space. Hot tub was a very nice touch. Great time.

Amazing home!

Beautiful home, exactly as described and pictured. We had 12 people, would have very easily accommodated more. Comfortable beds, tons of space, and a very well stocked kitchen with everything you would need to cook. Highly recommend!

Sunset Pointe Did Not Disappoint

The property was fully as described and then some. The house was beautifully appointed and has everything you need in the kitchen to make meals.and feel.like youre at home. We definitely enjoyed every moment

Sunset pointe

Very nice vacation home. No disappointments! Everything was as stated in the listing. Well stocked kitchen, very clean. Nice outdoor space, easy lake access from the dock. Lots of space indoors, would definitely stay there again.

Light fixtures were bug filled. Listing does not include the amount of steps required to get into the home.

Location and lake were beautiful. House was well stocked with the essentials for a great week. Only complaint was the house was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. There were handprints all over the windows and doors, coffee pot not cleaned, food on kitchen cabinets, pantry shelves were dirty and numerous rooms had cobwebs. Called property manager and they replied the next day, but we had already cleaned the issues ourselves.

Location is ideal

It was sux couples on this trip with me. We had people from all over the US. We do bi-annual trips together both inside and outside of the country. The house was perfect with one exception we needed 6 bedrooms with equal size beds i.e Queen/King. The listing showed this was the case. We arrived and there was a bunkbed with a full-size bed at the bottom. Imagine a couple in their 50’s sleeping in a bunk bed. Everything else about the house was nice. The location was awesome. The host were responsive but couldn’t do anything about the bedding.

While the house has 6 bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms, I was disappointed. There are 87 steps to navigate from the house down to the dock area - the listing pictures do not accurately depict this. Also there are plenty of steps down to the (small) fire pit area which was not big enough due to overgrown bushes. There was one towel per guest - not nearly sufficient for our week long stay. Mold in the master bath. Too many plants a trees that needed trimming. Lights on the many stairs did not work. If you are lucky and the wind is right, you can also experience the scent from the sewage plant down the street. At this price point I expected better. The property seemed less than well kept.

Was a bit disappointed in our stay. The downstairs shower did not work, the water system stunk so bad, I think the cleanliness was very poor, bathrooms were disappointing. You could probably find somewhere better to stay for that price!
