Riverfront Cottage on the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River offering a large enclosed porch overlooking the River!

This newly remodeled cottage offers an updated kitchen with granite countertops, dining area, living room, bathroom, and enclosed front porch with rocking chairs on the main floor. The loft offers an open bedroom with a view of the river and an office area.

Outdoors, you will find a firepit, picnic table, lawn chairs, grill, and access down to the river. The Juniata River offers a great place to sit and relax and build a campfire or if you want to get out on the water you can fish, kayak, or canoe. Ā Kayaks are available with a signed waiver. Raystown Lake is located approximately 25 minutes away. The depth and clarity of the river will depend upon the weather and cannot be guaranteed by the property owner.

The loft offers a Double Size Bed, and the living room offers a sofa bed with a Double-size mattress.

The Kitchen is stocked with dinnerware, cookware, kitchen utensils, microwave, and Keurig. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom are all stocked with linens and towels.

Cell phone service is limited, and no house phone is available. WIFI is provided by Brightspeed and is 10Mbps or less. Flatscreen TV has a firestick connected.

NOTE:
This is a unique cottage with steep steps leading up to the loft bedroom and down to the river. These and other carefully curated features add to the distinct character and charm of the property. But they may pose safety risks for very young children and those with mobility challenges. Please ensure that youā€™re comfortable with these elements before booking.

Firewood is not provided.
Kayaks are usable with a signed waiver.
No parties or fireworks.
No Smoking.
No Pets.
Other cottages are located on both sides of the subject cottage.
Drinking and cooking water is provided. Well water is not potable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is small but really cute - perfect for two people. Heating & cooling worked well (with fall in PA, you need both!) and portable heaters were thoughtfully placed where needed. The kitchen has everything needed for a simple meal. Great place for a long weekend!

We had a beautiful stay along the Juniata! The little cottage was perfect for the two of us. It was clean and had everything that we needed. We loved the seclusion. Loved sitting on the porch with our coffee and a good book.

A former roommate and I meet half way between where she lives in mid Ohio and myself in Va Beach, Va. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous. Built in 1938, recently remodeled. Everything ran well & correctly. Even the insects cooperated. Yes flying bugs, but no mosquito bites. We canā€™t imagine anyone having a problem with any part of it. Thank you, KMP

Great little secluded getaway!

My family and I stayed a few days at Olā€™ Gray, can not express how much we love it! It is in such a beautiful, relaxing area, and the cabin has a very homey feel, very clean and has every modern day amenitie you could think of, and the property manager, Cody was very helpful and efficient with any questions I had . would highly recommend Ole Gray! you won't be disappointed!

Needed getaway

My husband and I needed a break from our stressful life. This was a wonderful place! Very nice and quiet. We had some friends over for a fire but most of the time it was the two of us. I loved rocking on the porch and watching the river.

Peaceful and fun

My husband and I needed a quick getaway where we could disconnect and be in the moment. This cabin offered it all, and we did some sightseeing. Beautiful cabin, the host was committed and obviously cared. Donā€™t hesitate to pick this property, especially if the outdoors are calling!

Quaint place & relaxing retreat

We were looking for a close by and quiet weekday getaway and this place delivered. The upstairs loft bedroom reminded me of climbing into my boysā€™ treehouse. I loved it. Note that upstairs is a double bed with a headboard and footboard. Definitely will go back!

Great cottage in a beautiful part of Pennsylvania

This cottage was an amazing place to spend a vacation. The river views are beautiful and the cottage is warm, comfortable, charming and well-appointed. Cody was courteous, helpful and a consummate professional. He made sure our check in process and stay at the property went smoothly. We had a great time driving around this picturesque part of Pennsylvania. Raystown Lake is an absolute gem, less than an hour drive from the cottage.

Relaxing getaway

I had to travel to PA for a doctorā€™s appointment. I chose this place to stay because it appeared to be relaxing, in a scenic location. The property was exactly as described and more. All amenities were readily available, and the host was informative and communicative. We got some much needed rest during our extended weekend, and weā€™ve already talked about wanting to come back!
