Welcome to Atlantic House, an original 1920s Rehoboth Beach cottage located steps from the boardwalk and ocean. Don't forget the community pool nearby, beckoning you for a swim!

Relax on the spacious front porch with peek-a-boo views of the ocean beyond. This modern and stylish cottage offers many comforts and conveniences of home. Unwind in the living room by stretching out on the sectional after a full day at the beach. Take advantage of the well-appointed kitchen when you get hungry. Enjoy the formal dining room or eat on the furnished front porch. Toss in the day's laundry in the private washer/dryer before heading to bed. Another wonderful day awaits tomorrow!

There are mini split heat/air-conditioning units in each room, allowing for different temps for each room.
Pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The property is in the perfect location for staying with kids given it's close proximity to the beach and all the fun in town. The house itself provided ample space to spread out and be comfortable.

Perfect spot

We have stayed at the Atlantic House a number of times over the years. With young grandkids you can’t beat the location - steps to the beach every morning, walks on the boardwalk everyday and close to great dining for adults and entertainment for the little ones!

Perfect Location

Location can't be beat and we got the house at a low daily rate. There are some areas of improvement needed but generally speaking, the house was clean and comfortable to stay at.

Great family weekend

We specifically enjoyed the pool access since we had a 1 year old with us who wasn't quite ready for the beach. The front porch was a nice gathering place, especially in the morning when you could open the sliders and hear the ocean. Easy walk to the boardwalk, so no driving required during our stay.

Great location and comfortable home

Stayed here for 4 nights and our kids want to move into the house. It's a great location, walking distance to everything. beds were comfortable and house was clean. Home and surroundings are consistent with the listing so we were pleased.

Great location. Lots of room in home. TVs were great in all rooms. Holm was in need of maintenance but did not dis our trip. It could use better linens and towel.

Amazing bang for the buck

Very close to the beach at a great price. Spacious, and lots of lounging space. Beds are comfy. Clean. Bathrooms are a bit outdated with showers needing a bit more oomph and ease of use.

Cottage near the beach

It is an old cottage with a lot of charm. Off season it’s quiet except for the garage trucks in the parking lot next door. We liked the convenience of the location, however, in the summer I think this house’s location would be really busy and crowded.

Close to the beach

Great location to the beach, it was clean, all beds setup, a lot of towels provided by the Sands Hotel. This house do not have yard around to play, sitting. Has a nice closed porch, and small grass area in front of the house. House needs some upgrades, and leaving room floor needs some fixing.

Great location

The location was amazing- couldn’t have asked for more convenience to beach and boardwalk. The house was large enough to accommodate four adults and five children. The house was dated and could use updating, particularly the bedrooms and bathrooms. It should be noted than the property backs up to the hotel and there is a large dumpster and employee parking in the shared driveway, making the outdoor space less accommodating to use for anything other than grilling. We felt as though this was a nice value at the price we paid however 2023 season rates seem unreasonable

My family loved this house! The location was fantastic. The home was very clean, the rooms were spacious and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. We loved sitting in the sunroom in the evenings. The pool at the adjacent hotel was a nice amenity. I was a little worried about the home being surrounded by the hotel parking lot but it was totally fine. We didn’t even notice it. The home had 6 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas in great condition. We would book this house again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Rehoboth Beach.

Too close for comfort.

If you are seeking an in town experience this home works if you’re seeking more quiet and relaxation this is not the place. The home is very close to the beach but it’s also very close to the hotel and its parking lot. The backyard is the hotels lot and it’s full of parked cars , trash and people talking and smoking cigarettes. The home inside was not very clean and the floor board are coming up. Some care and attention to this home would be suggested to improve its potential.

Fix issues

Could not get into property. Most of the doors did not open & shut properly. Had disinfectant smell on arrival. Main Tv did not work. Customer service provided no answers

Memorable family vacation

We had a great experience at this rental house! We want to come back for sure. There were 8 of us and it was very comfortable. The location was perfect. You can see the ocean from the porch and watch the sunrise with your morning coffee. It is a very short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We also walked to the state park (Henlopen) from the house which we highly recommend. (The beach there is gorgeous and there are biking/walking trails, disk golf course… ) The house is very simply furnished so there is plenty of room for suitcases and personal items. Since the porch is surrounded by glass it really cuts down on noise from outside. There are screened areas too, though, if you want to allow a breeze. This was our favorite spot and it feels more private than it appears in the pictures. The dining table is very big and new and worked well for meals and games. We did utilize the hotel pool which is nice and Kiwi Kove serves food and drinks poolside. We had no issues with the house or any staff we spoke to. It was perfect for our family.

Can't beat the location

This property is just shy of being beach front. We loved how easy it was to get to and from the beach, run back to the house for food or a break, etc. We also loved the house had 2 spare umbrellas, and 6 beach chairs for us to use. You can't beat the proximity to the boardwalk and Rehoboth's main drag as well. The downstairs of the home is updated and very nice. The upstairs bedrooms are a little dated as well as the bathrooms, but still clean. We did wish there was more private outdoor space, the enclosed front porch was great but we did feel a little "on display" as we were enjoying our morning coffee or evening cocktails, adding blinds in that room would be great. Due to the association with the hotel, we often found workers taking their breaks right out back in what was seemingly our space, like where the grill for the house is located which at times was uncomfortable and I'm not sure if we had kids with us I would be OK with it at all. Overall we loved how close we were to the beach and the house was perfect for kid free people in their late 20s early 30s.

Great location!

PROS: Fantastic location! Very convenient. Easy parking and great house layout for accommodating large family with teenage children (5 kids were with us). Large dining room table was great for meals. Screened in porch is really nice for relaxing. Beds are very comfortable. Temperature in bedrooms upstairs was very cool which was appreciated on hot days. Access to hotel pool was a plus. CONS: House definitely has wear and tear and could use some paint touch ups and a deep clean. Bedroom furniture old. Bathrooms are small and outdated. Kitchen is outdated and could use more cooking supplies, utensils and cleaning supplies. Had to buy dish towels. One of the burners did not work. Light in fridge intermittently worked. One of the cabinets was broken off hinge. Nice week in a great location despite the house being outdated and requiring some maintenance. The guest service was very responsive and accommodating too!

I'm conflicted about my rating. The location was superb - half a block from the beach and boardwalk. The access to the next door hotel's pool was perfect. Even the living room and dining room were nice. BUT the bathroom on the ground floor, next to the king bedroom was really icky. The toilet was at a child-sized height and the toilet seat was white painted WOOD, with chips in it. I don't have to tell you what that looked like. The one piece shower enclosure was poorly installed. If you pushed against the wall, the whole shower enclosure moved. And the shower head was loose from the wall. In other words, it was not securely installed. There were ants in that king bedroom, not many, but still gross in that bathroom and the vanities in every bathroom were tiny.The space was good in all the bedrooms and bathrooms, but they were very bare bones. We had to bring in chairs from the dining room to use as a night table and suitcase stand. The television in the king bedroom was completely cracked and obviously nonfunctional. They did offer to come look at it, but we were only there for 5 days, so we didn’t want to bother.Also they were very responsive when one number in the hugely long security code malfunctioned. They made a shorter code, which did not include that number, which was helpful.Other shortcomings – a towel rack in an upstairs bathroom fell off the wall and the upstairs toilets did not flush efficiently.It’s a shame, because it could have been a really lovely house.

Off season stay

Amazing location, fantastic porch, great space for multiple families/kids. Nicely decorated. Kitchen could have used some basic equipment, and overall, maybe a little more attention to cleaning the floor moldings -- a lot of dust build up.

We had a wonderful stay!!

Tv’s are not smart TVs so you cannot use Netflix or Prime. Cooking for a crowd is a bit difficult with limited pans and bowls. Great proximity to the beach and rinsing station. Pool was always crowded so not ideal for Seniors like we thought it would be. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
