The fine sandy beach of Cala Santanyí is located just 2 km from the house, the town of Santanyí about 3 km away, and the picturesque coastal town of Cala Figuera only 1.5 km away. There you can wonderfully walk along the harbor promenade and stop at one of the restaurants. In Santanyí, you can expect numerous shops, as well as ATMs, pharmacies, many restaurants and bars, and the popular weekly market every Wednesday and Saturday. Cala d'Or with its white houses in Ibizan style and bustling atmosphere is certainly worth a visit. The dreamlike kilometers-long white sandy beach Es Trenc is also highly recommended, easily accessible by car, or perhaps a visit to the stalactite caves "Cuevas Drach" in Porto Cristo. Other sandy beaches in the area are S'Amarador, Cala Mondragó, and Cala Llombards.
