But our highlight is the bathroom with bathtub and a walk-in shower. All items are handicapped friendly.
The bedroom can accommodate 2 people in the large double bed. In addition, it is possible to set up a cot.

Our place is Utarp in the integrated municipality Holtriem. The integrated municipality Holtriem is beside Esens one of two Samtgemeinden in the district Wittmund and one of six in Ostfriesland in the northwestern Lower Saxony. The Samtgemeinde is located near the North Sea coast.
Ostfriesland is doing well - and especially in Holtriemer Land.

Whether you arrive from the southwest, southeast or from the east, your first stop on the way to the North Sea should be Oldenburg. From Oldenburg on the A28, the exit Groningen / Leer / Emden recommends. Stay on the A28 until the Filsum exit.
Once you have reached the Filsum exit, leave the motorway and drive on the B72 in the direction of Hesel / Aurich. The B72 always drive straight until you reach Aurich. In Aurich turn the 3rd major intersection to the right onto the B210 in the direction of Esens / Wittmund. After about 2km drive through Sandhorst. At the Sandhorster intersection, turn left onto the L7, (direction Dornum / Dornumersiel) directly into the Holtriemerland.

The Holtriem hiking trail
