Red Roof Lodge – A Year-Round Mountain Retreat in Leavenworth, WA

Just 3 miles from downtown Leavenworth, the Red Roof Lodge offers 4,400 square feet of mountain luxury on a scenic 2-acre property overlooking the valley. With sweeping views, an infinity pool, and a spa-like atmosphere, it’s the perfect destination for family vacations, retreats, reunions, and special occasions in every season.

Designed with families and groups in mind, the home features multiple gathering spaces, a cozy living area with a fireplace, and panoramic windows that frame the stunning Cascade Mountains.

- Summer at the Lodge
From June through early September, guests can bask in the sun beside the infinity pool and spa, featured in Luxury Pool Magazine. Enjoy waterfalls, floats, and poolside loungers, or fire up the grill and dine outdoors on the spacious decks. Evenings bring warm breezes, spectacular sunsets, and unforgettable stargazing by the fire pit.

- Autumn Escapes
September to November brings crisp air and golden foliage. Sip wine from a local vineyard on the deck, explore nearby hiking trails, or cozy up inside with board games and mountain views. The pool closes for the season, but the hot tub stays open year-round.

- Winter Wonderland
Perched 500 feet above the village, the lodge enjoys regular snowfall from December through March. Watch snowflakes fall over the mountains while you soak in the outdoor hot tub, gather by the fire, or visit Leavenworth’s world-famous Christmas Lighting Festival just minutes away. Sleds, snowshoes, and blankets are provided for your alpine adventures.

- Spring Renewal
April and May bring blooming wildflowers and perfect weather for exploring Leavenworth’s festivals, hiking trails, and riverfront walks. The decks are ideal for morning coffee, yoga, or simply soaking in the view as nature wakes up around you.

The perfect place for our family of 12 Thanksgiving getaway to Leavenworth. Every aspect of this family sized Chalet on a hillside overlooking Leavenworth exceeded our expectations. From the welcoming entry way, that looked directly on to a lighted Christmas tree, to the spacious family room that facilitated our diverse family interactions, it was warm and we felt at home instantly. Thanks for helping this magical family time.

The view at this house is absolutely breathtaking and we loved it. We enjoyed our stay and the house was well stocked for the most part but could definitely use some TLC and some deep cleaning. The deck by the hot tub did not look safe and the driveway made parking difficult. The pool area was stunning but could also use some work.

This property was beautiful! Great getaway from the city into a secluded environment in the mountains. The sounds from the pool waterfall and scenery made this escape worth while. Highly recommend with a big group as the space was accommodating!

Absolutely incredible!

Everything about our trip was beyond perfect. Communication was clear and concise, the property and everything was very clean and well maintained. Nothing in the world could beat the pool, those views and every other amenity offered. This is one VRBO my friends and I said we would absolutely book again in the near future!

Wonderful atmosphere

Loved everything about the house. Location was great. So much to do for a large family to enjoy each others company. Great views. The pool was freezing and dirty and that’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars because I love swimming.

Beautiful house and amazing pool!

We booked for annual family summer vacation and this house delivered!! The kids spent all day in tha amazing pool (it was a little cold for me, but the weather was also not as warm while we were there) and absolutely loved it!! You cannot beat the view, size of house and having your own private pool and hot tub! Its close to town, but far enough away to feel like youre in the woods. We loved every minute there and plan on returning next year!

Perfect stay for four generation stay

The pool was amazing and after my grandson and his wife went for a hike the hot tub was great. The kitchen was good size for multiple Cooks and the great room arrangement allowed for many activities to be going on. The game room was great and the TV on the deck allowed the kids to have movie night. The location of the house allowed many activities including shopping and a hike along the river.

Fabulous Views - Pool too cold

We spent a birthday weekend with friends in this beautiful home with its famous mountain views that exceeded expectations.The one downside was the pool. Having read previous reviews, we reached out to the homeowner in advance to request that they ensure the pool was heated ahead of our stay. When we got there, the pool was bone chilling cold. We were barely able to use it the first and second days. We reached out each day complaining about the temperature. Finaly, on the second day we felt heat coming out of the Jets in the pool. It wasn't until the last day of our trip that the pool was finally comfortable. The owner was responsive to our phone calls, but their response to the pool temp was a lot of excuses. Two families in our party own vacation rentals with pools. As a pool owner, you know how long it takes to heat your pool, and when you advertise a heated pool, it should be ready when guests arrive.

Excellent property

Check in was seamless. Everything was clean and any questions we had were answered easily by notes left in convenient locations.One neutral note, there isn’t a lawn for pet potty breaks but there is plenty of locations for them to go as needed.

Scenic family friendly home

Wonderful mountain home with everything you could need for your stay. We were in town for a family wedding and it was a beautiful retreat to relax and rest in between duties. Loved our stay!

Absolutely Stunning!

We booked for a family New Year’s holiday and could not have been more pleased! The home was incredible and the view of the mountains amazing-will take your breath away! The photos of the property are spot on and the beds were comfy cozy! The kitchen was fully functional and had everything we needed to prepare meals and seat our large family! It might be important to note that the driveway is some what steep! We visited during the snowy season and could not park in the lower driveway (which was not a problem for us)! There is enough space at the top of the drive and out off the road to park 4 small cars! The reason I mention this is that if you have members of your party that may need special assistance maneuvering the slope-keep this in mind! If you have an opportunity to visit Leavenworth any time during the year-we highly recommended this home-it won’t disappoint!

I began looking for a vacation home in Eastern Washington where I could enjoy four real seasons. I fell in love with the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth nestled in the stunning Cascade Mountains. With spectacular views, tons of activities and only 2 hours from Seattle it is a perfect getaway.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

In summer we spend endless hours in and around the pool. It is a 50,000 gallon pool with waterfalls and infinity pool so you feel like you are floating above the valley. The pool complex is a great place to relax, read, enjoy a meal, create a special drink at the Pool Bar or take a nap. In winter we play in the snow by sledding, sitting around the fire pit, watching the snow fall and cooking wonderful meals in the large kitchen. Movies, playing pool, ping pong or foosball in the Rec Room and reading round out the days. Fall is spectacular-the foliage is beautiful and hiking, fishing and festivals make it a great time to visit. Spring brings the wildflowers and warming temperatures. Hiking this time of year is especially nice.
