Welcome to your perfect mountain getaway! Nestled just steps from the gently flowing Wenatchee River, this stunning 3,500 sq. ft. log home offers the ideal blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Framed by massive hand-hewn logs, this spacious 4-bedroom retreat features a cozy sleeping loft, soaring vaulted ceilings, and circular windows that flood the home with natural light.

Gather in the expansive great room, where a grand stone fireplace creates the heart of the home, seamlessly connecting to the open-concept kitchen and dining area—perfect for entertaining family and friends.

Let the fun begin in the fully stocked game room, complete with shuffleboard, air hockey, foosball, and more! With over 150 feet of low-bank river frontage, you can even float right up to the lodge.

After a day of adventure, unwind on the screened-in porch overlooking the private hot tub and your very own sandy beach at the river’s edge. Whether you're seeking relaxation or recreation, this riverside retreat offers an unforgettable escape in every season.

This was a well appointed and cared for vacation home. The view of the Wenatchee River outside the large windows was beautiful. It was a very peaceful environment. The kitchen was a dream to cook our Thanksgiving meal! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the river.

This was our second year staying at JR Riverfront Retreat. The location is beautiful — right on the river with plenty of space, a hot tub, and a great games/media room that gives everyone room to spread out.That said, a few of the games are showing wear (the air hockey table no longer works properly, and the mini curling table isn’t balanced), though the ping pong table is still in good shape. The home overall feels like it’s starting to get a little tired, especially now that it’s listed for sale, but it’s still a comfortable and enjoyable place for a group stay.

It was wonderful peaceful sitting by the lake listening g to the roar of the river. The screened in porch, over looking the lake, with comfy furniture was such a bonus! Great house for a family gathering.

Our stay was very enjoyable. Being right along the river was a huge bonus! It was hot when we were there, so the air conditioning had a hard time keeping up. Also, the hot tub was set to 104 degrees which was too hot and it could not be adjusted. We contacted the host and they sent someone to the house within two hours. Great service! We would love to come back next year.

Wonderful place to stay

We loved this house! River in the backyard, awesome game room and plenty of room to sleep our group of 10. The only con was the hot tub was really dirty so we couldn’t use it.

Annual family gathering

We loved the variety of activities suitable for our 4 generation family…game room, hot tub, river beach, enclosed porch. The cabin is very spacious, the kitchen well-equipped and easy to provide meals for a larger group. The best vrbo that we have found for our group to meet in and keep everyone happy.

Family summer fun

This place was as advertised and more! Beautiful location steps from the Wenatchee river. Everything was great - best stocked kitchen of any VRBO in my experience, clean, super cute and tons of room for family. The hot tub was a huge hit! We couldn’t have been happier, and I hope we can book this place again in the future.

Wonderful property! We stayed with a big group. There was plenty of room for all. Games for kids, and a great location to float the river. It is a little drive to Leavenworth (just until 30 min).

Great getaway!

A beautiful, spacious property. Love that it’s close to Leavenworth, but still feels secluded enough. The bikes and toys outside were a huge win with my four year old.

Amazing Cabin!

Stayed for the weekend with family and were pleasantly surprised with the Cabin. It is right next to the River. All the rooms are a good size and the beds were comfortable. The game room was incredible, you can tell they took a lot of thought and joy in getting it to where it is now. My 7 yr old son and husband had a blast.

Nice Weekend Stay

We stayed at this property for a weekend small wedding ceremony. The weather worked out great and we were able to perform the ceremony beside the river. The home is very welcoming with lots of space. the covered and screened porch area with a fire table was used, even if the temps were a bit cold. The big table in the great room was nice for our group to eat and play games. The kitchen was well stocked as well.

This home was the perfect place for my friends and me to gather for a weekend away. The home was in a great location convenient to everything but it was also picturesque by the river! The home itself had everything we needed and more! It was super clean and well cared for. It was great to have a real fully equipped kitchen for our needs. The game room was great. And the host was incredibly responsive to my questions and needs. We would not hesitate to recommend this place and hope to stay here again! Thanks for making it a memorable trip!

Great Family Getaway

Lots of space to relax, and play together. Hot tub has the best view ever, lots of fun to be had in the games room, and a well supplied kitchen to allow you to feed a big crew. Can't recommend it enough!

Family Vacation

Our family meet here from many different states every other and love this lodge. It’s very spacious for all. The kitchen is well stocked with all the supplies you need, there’s 3 refrigerators and 4 bathrooms. We love the game room, playing in the snow, walking the river and sitting in the hot tub. The house is beautifully decorated and always very clean. Every bed in the place is very very comfortable. Thank you, once again!

Leavenworth Beauty

We came down to Leavenworth to do a 20th anniversary vow renewal and stayed at JR’s Riverfront Retreat with our family and friends and loved it! It was so beautiful to listen to the river flowing while sitting in the hot tub on the deck. It was a nice treat to find the house decorated and a tree up for Christmas. The house is beautiful. We would love to stay here again in the summer!
