We approached this reservation with some apprehension, and unfortunately, our instincts were correct. As an experienced host and a 9-time Premiere Host, I've developed a strong sense for potential issues, and from the beginning, something felt off with this guest. Despite our clear communication and detailed instructions, they struggled to understand basic aspects of the reservation, including payment details and directions to the property—directions that countless other guests have followed without any difficulty. Adding to the confusion, the reservation was made under a different last name than the one that appears in the review, which further complicated communication and raised red flags from the outset. Given these initial concerns, I personally went to the property upon their arrival to ensure everything was satisfactory. During this visit, they expressed that the home was beautiful and that they had no needs or concerns. My visit was not only a proactive measure to prevent misunderstandings but also to demonstrate our commitment to guest satisfaction. Throughout their stay, they did not voice any issues or complaints. Everything appeared to be going smoothly until, after checkout, they left an undeserved 2-star rating. If you review our history, it’s clear that this guest's experience is an anomaly. We consistently receive excellent reviews, and this rating is a stark outlier. It’s a classic case of "you can’t please everyone," despite our best efforts. Moreover, they left the property messier than normal, which is not the standard we expect from our guests. Additionally, they never mentioned any concerns about the "so-so" cleaning during their stay, despite my clear instructions to notify us immediately if something isn’t right. Instead, they chose to raise these grievances in a review after they had already checked out, without giving us any opportunity to address the issue in real time. They also complained about food delivery, despite it being perfectly clear that if you're staying inside a private, gated resort, it's common sense to either provide the front gate code or understand that delivery services can't get past the main gate without assistance. This is part of our security protocol, which is designed to protect our guests and property. Their inability to grasp this basic aspect of staying in a secure, gated community further highlights the disconnect between their expectations and the reality of staying at our property. This behavior speaks volumes about the quality of this guest, and it’s unfortunate that their experience doesn't reflect the high standards we consistently maintain. As an 8-time Premiere Host, our commitment to excellence is evident in the overwhelming majority of our reviews, which are a true testament to the quality of our service and property.

Guest did not read description of cabin says directly not pool in cabin . Alarm was changed and problem resolved.
