POOL / HOT TUB
Pool – The pool is set to heat when the outside temperature is between 50-80 degrees; during extreme heat, the pool heater is turned off to keep the pool cooler so it doesn’t end up like a huge hot tub at 97 degrees. The pool heater cannot keep up when the temperature falls below 50 degrees. The heat just gets lost due to the size. The hot tub can always operate, but heat times vary. Extreme colds require patience and tarping to get the temperature to rise 60-70 degrees.
Pool temp set to approx. 85℉/29℃ degrees.
Hot tub approx. 100℉/30℃ degrees.

FAQ's...
Do you offer early check-in or late check-outs?
- No. Our home is in high demand! We use this precious little time we have to prepare the home following the CDC Cleaning Guidelines, as well as to complete any maintenance tasks, so your stay is uninterrupted. If additional time is important to you we recommend booking an additional night for your stay.

Do you allow luggage drop-off for early arrivals or late departures?
- No, unfortunately, we are unable to offer luggage drop-off at this time.


Is the home suitable for children?
- Our home is great fun for children of all ages. We do offer a pack-n-play, baby bath, kid's dinnerware, strollers, and life jackets.

How far is it from the beach?
-We have 3 great beaches within driving distance. They range from 5-20 miles away.

Can I walk to the beach?
-That depends on how far you have to walk :) 99.9% take a car. There are public places to park

Do you offer a cleaning service?
- Yes! If our schedule allows, we can accommodate additional cleaning services every week, for an added cost. Just ask us!

Can I book on behalf of a friend, family member, or co-worker?
- No. While we would love to host whoever you are booking for, we do need them to book for themselves with their own account. You can potentially earn travel credit by referring someone to book their first reservation. Go to Account Settings and click on Invite Friends for more details.


Traveling for a Business Trip?
- For business trips or if you book travel for your company, Air b n b allows designated bookers at companies enrolled in Air b n b for Work to book trips on behalf of others.


SAFETY @ the Pool and Hot Tub
*Always have someone 18 and up on Lifeguard Duty and in charge of keeping track of all swimmers.


*Communicate with others the ability of all the swimmers present.
*NO DIVING - the pool has a deeper end, but NOT DEEP ENOUGH FOR DIVING


*Keep doors facing the pool locked at all times
*Use the child pool safety gate provided - if you have a wandering little one and often have doors left open. Contact us for any issues or questions on how to operate or install it.


*Use the life jackets provided as needed. Please let us know if you need larger sizes or want to be sure we do have them available for your trip.


*No one under the age of 15 in the HOT TUB without adult supervision.


*Those with heart conditions, pregnant, etc should consult their doctors before using the hot tub.


*Do not use a hot tub that is over 104 degrees. It’s set to 100, please do not turn it up beyond that temperature.

Full access to the entire house dock and pool - please notify the host if you intend to use the lift.

Strive to be always available for helpful area information or to attend to a conversation at the property. There is a ring doorbell for access issues or questions. There is also a security camera outside facing the driveway.

Quiet family-friendly neighborhood. Bike paths, and sidewalks. 2 miles from the commercial area.

Car is ideal.

**Quiet hours by pool are strongly enforced. 10 pm or later - QUIET = indoor voices and no/quiet music playing


**The pool is heated to 85 degrees when the outdoor temps are above 65.  When it's below 65, due to the size of the pool, the heater cannot keep up.  The hot tub will be heated on demand (taking 20-40 min to heat - due to size and possibly low temps). If it's below 50 degrees, you may need the tarp over it while heating to the desired temp, as it can take a long time to get hot with so much heat escaping.  Also, during colder temps, leave bubbles off until you are ready to get in to maximize heating time. 
Pool area quiet hours after 10pm. Heavily enforced by the neighborhood. (quiet = only soft music if any. reg adult indoor voice conversations.
