Budget Friendly Resort District Condo Near Water Park - Great Views

Come on down to South Padre Island! It is time to recharge yourself by the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Put your feet in the sand, catch a few waves. The beach is only a short walk away from this building. This South Padre Island vacation rental by Rent On Padre is located in a resort district complex. It is right next door to the Beach Park at Isla Blanca (formally the Schlitterbahn waterpark). You also have amazing views of the Causeway and a peek of the Gulf of Mexico from this 6th floor unit. While you are out there, walk to the jetties for some of the best shelling on the island.

Gulfview I # 604 is a wonderful place to be. The bedroom has 2 queen size beds and you also have a sleeper sofa in the living room. It's a great place to be for a small family or group of friends. Enjoy coffee on your patio looking out to the causeway. The kitchen has all your basics if you decide to stay in and cook

Gulfview I has some wonderful amenities just steps from your condo. You get a fabulous pool, hot tub, club house, and grilling area. There is also on-site laundry and parking is right outside the building. If there does happen to be a SpaceX launch, just walk across the hall for a great view of the launch.

South Padre Island makes it easy to get around. You can walk or take the Island Metro, SPI's free transportation shuttle, to get up and down the island. You may not need to drive your car again until you leave.

We also manage another unit in this building and one in the building next door. Both buildings share the same pool! It is a great way to be together without being in the same condo!

Nearby activities include Golf, Tennis, Water Park (seasonal), Surf Fishing, Bay Fishing, Deep Sea Fishing, Boating, Canoeing, Kayaking, Hiking, Fitness Center, Miniature Golf, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Museums, Beachcombing, Horseback Riding, Movie Theater, Nightlife, and many, many, restaurants.

We loved our condo! I feel like our hosts went above and beyond! We truly felt not only the love from our condo but from the whole island! We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary this weekend and it was just amazing! The condo my husband said reminded us of my grandparents house. They were my parents growing up so staying here just felt like home away from home! We can’t wait to come back one day especially when we have a family! You all truly have won our hearts for years to come! We won’t be staying anywhere else on the island! Thank you again!

The photos are much better than in person, The walls, binds, etc had dirt, food, and hair from pervious renters. There are holes in the walls, outlets coming loose from walls so difficultly charging, nails in the door, the list goes on. Despite stating there is a fitness facility, there is not. The laundry facility is on the 2nd floor not in the unit, they are small load for operations and take 2 to wash then and additional 2 to dry. We were safe and warm. We didn't notice any bugs. Will chose a different booking next time.

It was ok

Bathroom is very dated. Prior to my booking The rental agent told me the pool was heated and it had no hot tub. They were wrong on both points. They also left dishwasher soap but there is no dishwasher. Seems like they didn’t know what they were renting.

Our condo was old & outdated. Smelled musty and old.

Bed was hard and the old musty smell never went away. Recommend carpet needs to be taken out and just have tile floor would help out a lot.

The AC never made it below 79 so the apartment was hot. Carpet needs to be replaced or removed it was stained and just looked dirty. Bring air freshener because it smelled bad. The best thing about this property in my opinion is the location and the pool area. I would not rent here again and I would not recommend it.

But the condo does not smell good so bring air freshener. The AC never reached 75 degrees lowest it went was 79 so at night especially it was hot. The carpet isn't in great condition so keep your shoes on. The pool and hot tub area was nice.

Carpet was vacuumed BUT carpet had obvious stains and just appeared dirty in both living room and bedroom. Furniture was old and sofa bed also looked “old and just dirty”. Pros: accept dog and distance from beach

Perfect for my family.

Property was clean and in good condition. Cute little condo. The space was big enough for myself, my husband, and my three kids ages 3, almost 2, and 7 months. I’d stay here again without hesitation. They had lots of kitchen ware, plenty of towels, and space to cook and prep. The only thing I’d say (which is not in any way the owners fault) is I wish it was easier access to the beach or not so far but honestly we just drove down the road to Clayton’s or the public beach which took minutes. I could see the beach I just didn’t know how to get there from the condos.
