This property was perfect for us and our granddaughters! So close to the beach and well appointed for our needs.Tiffany was always responsive and an excellent host, notifying us we could have an early check-in. We very much enjoyed our stay at “Anchors Aweigh”!

The house is wonderfully comfortable and well-equipped for a family, from cooking gear in the kitchen to beach gear in the shed. The location is great and the walk to the beach is short. And Dauphin Island itself never seems overcrowded. We were able to really relax.

This home was absolutely lovely. The furnishings are updated and comfortable and there is a great floor plan. It had everything we needed in the kitchen snd the outdoor shed was full of beach surprises!

I MUST HAVE a house that is CLEAN, BUG-FREE, and COOL. This house has all that and more. The pictures are accurate, the decor is immaculate, it is WELL-STOCKED in the kitchen, the bed was so very comfy, the owner was very prompt in responding to our questions, the front deck was awesome, and it was near enough to the beach.

This is one of the cleanest vacation rentals I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at a LOT! Very east to find/access, easy communication, nice owners, checks all of the boxes for a fun easy family trip!

Great place!

This house was amazing! Had all your beach needs, spacious, and clean! The walk to the beach was perfect!! Being a few miles from the west end of the beach made it nice to watch the sunset! We will be back!

We had such a great time at this property! The owner was AMAZING at communication and hospitality!! Can’t say enough about this place! Description of condo is exactly what you get. Highly recommend!!

Visit to Dauphin

This was a very cute beachy house. It had everything that we needed. It was wonderful to have bikes, beach chairs and other items to be able to enjoy the beach and Dauphin Island. I especially loved to sit on the deck and enjoy the morning with my coffee!

Wonderful beach house

We had a great stay at this beautiful beach house! The owners have thought of everything you may need for a great beach vacation. It was just a short walk to the beach with partial ocean views from the front porch. The kitchen was fully furnished with everything you may need to make a meal at home. The owners were very helpful and messaged back immediately. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Hostess answered back promptly and kindly. Nice house; but I had to clean so much of it before we could use it. Needs new mattresses, new vacuum, and BLANKETS!!! We had 4 children ranging from 10 months to 6 years with us; so we greatly appreciated the high chair and the playpen and the bikes, etc. After paying the rental fees, I think that trash bags and toilet paper and other necessities should have been provided. We did have a very nice time there!

Excellent home and communication

Tiffany was very open and communicative about a couple of updates happening during our stay. This was a great location—excellent beach access. We really enjoyed the patio area under the house, grilling, and the house had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Our first time to the island was a success!

Wonderful beach house!

We loved this home so much, my kids said it was their favorite! Things I think are important to mention: short walk to the beach, beautiful views even thought it isn’t right on water, bikes included, beach chairs and a wagon included (less to pack from home!), huge upstairs deck and perfect outdoor area downstairs, everything you could need in a kitchen, lots of living space to stretch out and comfy beds! Tiffany was a wonderful hostess, we look forward to staying here again!

We loved the house. It has everything you need. We cooked alot and was able to find everything that we needed. The beds are all comfortable. We had a family of 6. Plenty of room and clean and a nice location. We loved it

Everything and more

We've stayed on the island several times and loved the location, easy walking to and from the beach, with great relaxing views! The home also had extras we weren't expecting; beach towels, bikes, wagon, beach chairs, ect so you could lighten your packing list. The beds were extremely comfortable, lots of room for everyone! Tiffany was so great and quick to respond, she was a great host! We've already booked our next visit and can't wait to return!

Wonderful experience

We had an amazing week. From the moment we pulled in it had a very good feel. Everything thing was clean and fully supplied. There was even accommodations for our two dogs. I would highly recommend staying and definitely will again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Island Time

Just a walk away from the beach. The property has everything you need for the kitchen and outdoor dining as well, with extras items for the beach the family graciously shares. Clean space and well taken care of. Communication with property owner was great.

Summer Vacation

Very nice place. We enjoyed staying here for a week. The property was as described. Just a short walk to the beach. You can see the beach and the bay from the house. It has a nice big deck on front that was nice to set on in the evening. We are already thinking about staying here again. Tiffany was great to work/communicate when settings things up and during our stay. Thanks!

Another Great Beach Stay

This house is such a a delightful place to spend the week. My teenager, my preschooler, and my mother-in-law and family had a wonderful time. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. We had a few cold rainy days, still had plenty of space to do puzzles, watch movies and rest. We live the big porch with view for our morning coffee or afternoon cocktails.to watch the sunset. The kitchen is well stocked, so we can make dinner and lunches, so everyone can enjoy the island on their own time. We love to go for bike rides and we never have to pack a ton, because she has everything we need for great beach days.

Beach Getaway!

What a wonderful property! It had everything we needed! My husband and I, along with our 4 year old, stayed here with our friends and their 4 children (ages17-22). There was plenty of room for all of us. There was plenty of outside seating below the house, along with parking. It was a short walk to the beach. The house was stunning. Beds were comfortable with lots of extra pillows and lap blankets. Owners were awesome, reaching out to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to go to the island.
