The place was beautiful, well stocked, and so close to the beach. Less than a block walk. The beds were the most comfortable beds we've experienced at a rental ever. We all felt that way. We can't wait to stay here again next year!

Relaxing Getaway

This was the perfect early summer vacation spot with my family. Beautiful ocean views and an amazing home with everything you could need for a relaxing summer vacation. The owner was incredibly accommodating and had an easy check-in and check-out process. I look forward to coming back for future stays!

Our fav west beach rental

Our fourth stay was as perfect as the first! As much as weā€™d like to keep this listing to ourselves, we have to share! The owners obviously love their homeā€¦gorgeous decor and bedding, top of the line appliances and fully stocked kitchen for those wanting to cook, and great wifi connection. Such a short and easy walk to the beach. Relaxed beach vibe with mostly families enjoying Pirates Beach. Beach was super clean too. Thanks to the grassy easement behind the house we enjoyed a full and lovely view of the beach from the upper deck. Our adult children appreciated having their own bedrooms and bathrooms. Easy booking and check-in, and as always Sara is very responsive and communicative. We canā€™t wait until our next stay!

Peaceful Beach Weekend

This stay was the perfect escape for us. We had a wonderful peaceful winter weekend at the beach. It was cold out, but the house was cozy. Really special property in Pirates Beach. Highly recommend and will be back!

Phenomenal stay

House was spotless, spacious, and splendidly decorated (pardon the alliteration)! Extremely short walk to the beach and beautiful view from the living room and deck. Neighbors were also friendly and the host was super accommodating- very easy check in/check out process. Will definitely be coming back!

Great house & close to the beach!

Had a great stay here. Very nice property. Super clean house! Nice bathrooms, comfy beds. Big kitchen island for all your cooking including all kitchen tools and accessories. Close walk to the beach. We could see our canopy we setup at the beach from the rear balcony. Would stay here again!

Great views of ocean from multiple rooms

House was very clean with great kitchen. Every pan, pot or spice you would need to cook a gourmet dinner .. linen sheets on most beds. Wonderful shower soap in every bathroom .Definitely a higher quality rental than any we have rented before.

Great getaway

Had an amazing stay, even if the storms kept us out of the ocean. Host kept us away of the weather conditions. House was large enough for all 8 of us to spend days indoors together without discomfort. So many spices to use in the kitchen!! Games, videos, very short walk to the beach when the rain stopped. I would stay here again.

Beach Get A Way

This home has it all. Amazing design with plenty of space and a one minute walk to the beach. The home is fully stocked with everything you need. I enjoyed the master bedroom and bath and the kitchen is amazing with plenty of space to cook and serve. My two friends felt like we have the perfect place to repeat trips!

Perfect Beach Weekend Away

We had an amazing stay and will 100% be back, we will never rent anywhere else this rental is the BEST we have stayed in Galveston hands down! Can't say enough good things about this house, impeccably decorated and SO close to the beach, literally a 1 minute walk since its just a few houses down from the beach. Communication with the owner was seamless, she was responsive and helpful! Beds were extremely comfortable and it was such a beautiful and refreshing place to be. We miss it already and cant wait to come back!!!

Wonderful Beach House Pirates Beach

Wow, This was an amazing stay and amazing Beach House. We found this House to be very clean and a short walk to the Beach . The Sunroom was especially comfortable and a unique space in the House. Love the open kitchen and High Ceilings in the living room. The owner actually had some goodies and snacks in the kitchen for us. We will be returning to Galveston later this Summer and hope to stay here again in the near future. The outside patio was a nice space as well, We had dinner one night with our friends on the outside patio

A stunning Restoration Hardware Dream

This home had a beautiful French country with a beach twist. Her Taj Mahal countertops were stunning. The soaring ceilings with the shiplap was the perfect complement to the beach house. The beds looked to be all Restoration Hardware. Mattresses were extremely comfy and the lines were luxurious. It was super clean and smelled so good in the hallway. My family and including my young 3 and 4 year old loved the home. The walk to beach was short and it had beautiful sunsets from the balcony. I would highly recommend for anyone having a girls trip or need a home for a family with young kids. It was beyond comfortable!

Beautiful summer getaway

Lived up to all that was promised. Clean, convenient, comfortable and well thought out in every way. Only issue not addressed was the master bedroom closet door was locked and not accessible. And no night-stand on one side of the bed.

Paradise Regained!

This beachside bungalow is the perfect place to spend time by the ocean! Perfectly appointed (everything from gumbo pot to luxurious hotel towels, beach side loungers to BBQ pit), beautifully decorated (think Horchow meets Pottery Barn at Restoration Hardware) and wonderfully located (5 houses off the beach on a dead-end street, across highway from grocery/seafood shopping and 15 minutes to the Strand), this home is a wonderful place to have a girls' weekend, family vacation, or just take solace from the city! The owner was so great to work with and was extremely accommodating, adding wireless internet just for my stay. Pictures do not do this home justice and words do not suffice...make sure to visit this Galveston jewel yourself!

Only 1 TV , only 1 ceiling fan which was in an awkward sitting room , only 3 rolls toilet paper, did not have a cooking pan(skillet) to make pancakes, limited pans, The house smelled like sage had been burning prior to checking in awful smell. The owner expected take sheets off beds & trash can to street which I paid $200. Extra for what?

Donā€™t stay here

Donā€™t rent this property unless you like being watched the entire time. Owner has ring doorbell camera positioned to see inside the kitchen and common area. My 14 year old had a few friends over on the deck at 8 pm. No music, loud noise or alcohol and owner called the police on us. We eventually had to tape paper over one of the windows to avoid being watched. Also has another device on the stairs allow her to listen in on conversations below the house by the grill. Beware!

Girlfriend Getaway

Weā€™ve rented houses and condos on Galveston for 30 years and this is the one weā€™ll be returning to! Perfect for our ā€œgirlfriend getawayā€- this gorgeous home checked all the boxes. Sherry and Saraā€™s excellent communication, easy check-in, gorgeous dĆ©cor, fully stocked kitchen, and perfect location made our beach weekend so enjoyable! This was my first rental in years that didnā€™t require a phone call to management- we had ZERO issues. This property appears to be lovingly and immaculately maintained. The ladies loved having their own bedrooms and baths, and a beautiful common area indoors and out for morning coffee and afternoon wine! We cooked our meals and never went out to eat during our stay- the kitchen had everything we needed. Top of the line appliances, cookware, and beautiful serving pieces. Another plus is the covered parking for about four vehicles. This property is like no other- and we canā€™t wait to return! Thank you Sherry and Sara for a lovely weekendā€¦looking forward to our next rental with you!

This is a great house!

This house is great. Very beautiful and well kept. Great location on a peaceful street. We loved how close it was to the beach; very easy walk, even with a 2-year-old. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. I was excited to have a regular drip coffee maker. The only things that were a little disappointing are that there was hardly any toilet paper (only half roll in two of the bathrooms) and no paper towels. Iā€™m glad we had not gone to the grocery before we checked in, as it would have been annoying to have to go back out for those items. There were no beach towels, and not many towel racks to hang towels up in the bathroom. The pillows in the master bedroom were very hard, so Iā€™m glad we brought some. Even with those few things, we had a great vacation with our daughter and her family. We were comfortable and love the big deck! It was so nice to have morning coffee and evening wine. The view of the ocean waves was so nice. We also love the big downstairs area with the picnic bench and outdoor shower. That makes cleaning up from a fun day on the beach easy. Finally, we appreciate our host working with a change we had to make in our schedule. This home is one we will keep on our list, and I hope we can stay here again.

Perfect beach weekend

Just returned from our second visit this summer- we love this house so much! It always exceeds our expectations in terms of having everything we need for our stay. Everything about the property is elevatedā€¦the decor, linens, mattresses and pillows, furniture, kitchen appliances. You can really tell this owner loves and cares for their beach home. We had our whole family come down and thanks to the double driveway everyoneā€™s cars were off the street. Sherry and Sara are great communicators and very easy goingā€¦and check-in/check-out was a breeze. We canā€™t wait to return next summer!

Amazing House with a wonderful view!

Words can't adequately described this wonderful property. The house and its amenities are perfect! Every little detail is addressed from a kitchen with everything you need to the delicious soaps at each sink. The linens are so very soft and the beds are very comfortable. The VRBO was in a great location. The manager was very quick to respond to any questions. The house was not right on the beach but great views of the ocean. Just two or three houses to the ocean.
