Absolutely loved our time at The Sea Shanty! The house was clean and beautiful. The host was so kind and thought of everything needed to make our visit wonderful. We will definitely stay here again!

Host was lovely. The house was fresh and new. Big cozy couches. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was very well stocked. I loved that the soaps were not sample sized! The deck was shaded in the afternoon making sunsets outside so enjoyable. The host provided beach chairs, umbrella, and a wagon to get it all down to the beach. The home made for a very nice, relaxing getaway.

Beautiful, very clean home just a short walk to the beach! This house had everything you would need fully stocked and lots of nice extras. Very comfortable beds and pillows too. Owner was friendly and extremely helpful. We would love to come back to this house and stay again. My family loved it!

Quick Family Vacation

Stayed 2 nights at the Sea Shanty before heading up to Dallas. Great beach house, great location, and great host. We loved our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Sea Shanty @ Pirate's Beach

Excellent location about 1 block from the beach. The house was very clean, new, spacious, and well designed for families or couples. No complaints and would definitely reserve again.

Super clean House right by the beach!

This was one of the very best rentals in Galveston we have ever stayed in ! We will be back. Host was super responsive, house was incredibly clean, location could not be beat!

Wonderful beach house

This house was perfect for our Family vacation. The rooms were tastefully decorated, the kitchen was well stocked and the location was perfect. Our host, Megan, was very nice, helpful and easy to reach when we had questions. I will definitely come back, and I recommend The Sea Shanty to anyone that has a trip to Galveston.

Wonderful beach house! It matches the photos and is modern and clean. It really had everything we needed in terms of cooking tools, boardgames, wifi, beach things etc. Super nice touches like toothbrushes for folks. Megan is a great host - she gave lots of clear info and is super helpful! Would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous beachside house. The owners thought of everything. No need was overlooked. My husband had to call the owner about an issue we caused and she was absolutely lovely. Would highly recommend!

Good vibrations

Terrific house and a perfect layout for our three generations. We also appreciate the large stock of games and toys that excited our young grandsons. Megan was well ahead of our arrival with check-in instructions and responded quickly to our questions. I highly recommend this property if you want a comfortable stay and a short walk to the beach.

Charming Beach House

The Sea Shanty is a charming beach house, just steps from Pirate’s Beach. The house is light and bright, well appointed and very comfortable. Lots of outdoor deck space, both covered and uncovered, with a nice view of ocean. We will definitely stay at The Sea Shanty on our return trip to Pirate’s Beach.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway!

This was the perfect house for our group of 9 (4 adults & 5 kids). The house came equipped with everything we needed from in the kitchen to the beach which made traveling in from out of state very easy. The proximity to the beach, bunk room and games were the big hits with the kids. Megan was the perfect host and was very responsive with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again if we come to Galveston!

Family Summer Kickoff

Absolutely wonderful home and location! Perfect size for our blended family trip with 4 kids and 5 adults of all ages! Great large open kitchen and dining area and extremely close to the beach! Everything you need is provided and the home was spotless upon Check-In. Can’t get better than this!! We’ll definitely be back to the Sea Shanty!

We had a fabulous time at Sea Shamty. The house is practically new, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully outfitted with everything you might conceivably need during your stay. From kitchen equipment and dishes to games and beach accessories, everything was there. The adults appreciated the king beds in every room and the kids enjoyed the cute bunk room. The walk to the beach was very short and the neighborhood convenience store was close by too. We highly recommend the house and would stay there here again in a heartbeat.

Immaculate home perfectly located to beach access

This beautiful home is immaculate, fully loaded for all the vacation needs and perfectly located to beach access. The property manager/owner communicates before during and after if and when needed which we did not need since everything was as expected and described. Our family will definitely be returning!!

Sea Shanty

The property was excellent! Very clean, no misleading pictures, the owner went above and beyond the amount of extra amenities included, beautiful view, awesome interior, enough space and bedrooms with 3 really nice bathrooms. The owner went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and even offered to let us come early without asking since the property wasn't rented the previous night. I'd recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect place to getaway on Galveston beach!

Family Getaway

Words cannot begin to describe our stay at the Sea Shanty! The moment you walk in you are greeted with every bit of detail and love put into this home. From the size of the bedrooms, the open floor plan, spacious bathrooms, and everything in between. Our kids LOVED the bunk room so much it was never a problem putting them to bed. We loved how close to the beach we were. Lunch was a quick walk back to make sandwiches and then immediately back to fun in the sun! The location to all the attractions can’t be beat! We will definitely be visiting again! Thank you for being amazing hosts!

The bonus vacation joy that arises from kids in a bunk room + the convenience of running back for snacks and lunch cannot be over sold. We are so happy you lived the beach life as true Pirates do and we very much look forward to your next stay.
