Waterfront Home on Lake Pend Oreille
Waterfront home with stunning views of Lake Pend Oreille, Schweitzer & the Monarch Mountain Range. Home has it's own private dock perfect for swimming & fishing.
Located 5-10 minute walking distance from Beyond Hope Camping Resort & Sam Owens Campground. Hope Marina & Boat launch is just a quick 5 minute drive, roughly 25 minute drive to Sandpoint & 15 minutes to Idaho Golf Club.
Both bedrooms on upper level, both with private bathrooms. Main bedroom is furnished with a California King bed, 4 piece bathroom, lots of closet space & private covered balcony with sweeping views. 2nd bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed and private 3 piece bath. We also have a queen pull out sofa in the living room downstairs that could accommodate additional sleepers or there is one twin floor kiddie cot in the main room closet.
This home is more a mature home, in that the stairs in the house don't have a railing but has hand rails, no grass yard space, dock is down 2 flight of fully railed stairs and no sand to stick your toes in. Just tons of jumping, swimming, boating, jet skiing right into the beautiful clean water of the Lake Pend Oreille.
There is no train noise or train traffic.
Additional rules
EARLY CHECK-INS are not guaranteed. It is ultimately up to the host to approve any check-ins before 4 pm.
PACKAGES - We do not allow guests to order mail/packages to this location for privacy reasons. If you attempt to have something delivered to this address, it will be rejected and we are not held responsible for its whereabouts.
SMOKING/DRUG - This is a non-smoking and drug free property. This includes marijuana, vaping/e-cigs, THC usage, no drug paraphernalia or illegal drug use allowed anywhere on property. Breaking this rule will result in a $200 fine and potentially the additional cost that is incurred by losing the next guest’s reservation because we cannot eliminate the odor or sanitize in time for the next booking.
PARTIES - We enforce a strict no-parties/noise violation policy. If you throw a party, trash the space, damage the unit, disrespect the property, or have a gathering with extra guests will result in reservation being cut short with no refund and all applicable cleaning fees paid by tenant.
SECURITY CAMERAS - tampering with, covering, moving aim, or messing with outdoor security cameras is strictly prohibited and will result in reservation being cut short with no refund offered. Location of cameras are 1) off back of garage and covers road and parking, 2) South Western corner of home covering the large parking driveway and front door of house and back entrance to garage and 3) off upper balcony covering a long range view of steps down to dock, dock and water.
VEHICLES - No more 4 vehicles including trailers day or night at the home .
CLEANING - Our cleaning fee is based on a courteous guest (e.g. someone who cleans up after themselves, cleans dishes, towels in shower, leaves the place as they found it, etc.). This is NOT a hotel. If the housekeeping crew discovers an unreasonable mess post-checkout, we will charge an additional fee of $100. Treat the space as if it was your own home. If you break it, fix it. If you open it, close it. If you turn it on, turn it off. If you unlock it, lock it. If you make a mess, clean it. If you move it, put it back.
REMOTES/DAMAGE: If missing there is a fee of $50 to replace. If anything is damaged during your stay immediately notify us so we can quickly repair and/or replace.
BOATS: We do not allow boat lift access nor can anything to be moored overnight or tied up to the dock. This is for our dock safety and your boat. If you ignore this rule you will be liability for all damage to dock. There are multiple boat launches and the marina is nearby. There is plenty of room in the drive way for a boat trailer. Max vehicles is 4, which includes the boat trailer.
GUESTS- No unregistered guests or guests that exceed your stated occupancy or our occupancy limit (5 people) day or night. Quiet hours from 10PM to 8AM.
***Please note: Our house cleaners are not trained nor compensated for the below issues***
Fines will be imposed for the below cleanings:
1. $200 per day of entire booked reservation for smoking/drug use of any kind.
2. $350 For any bodily fluid, biohazard waste, blood & removal on any surface or linens (ie: vomit, blood, urine, etc.)
3. $250 Fee for any pet onsite.
