Our name says it all... The VIEW on Grand. For the discerning traveler with high-end comfort in mind. Six midcentury modern cabins right on the water's edge. A perfect location to relax and enjoy the open water view from your deck. Perfect unobstructed Lake views from every room. Deep water for fishing right outside the cabin at the shore (locals frequent this gem of a fishing hole). Walk or drive across Honey Creek Bridge to local restaurants, Honey Creek Landing Marina, and the upcoming Grand River Dam Authority Park. We set the gold standard for cleanliness, luxury, and comfort. *Pets are not permitted at this location. If you would like to bring a pet please see our sister site careybaycottages.com.

The cabin was clean and blocked out any possible street noise imaginable. It was cozy and so relaxing. It had any necessary thing you needed to cook with. The host was very communicative as well. Zero complaints and would stay here again!

Relaxing vacation

Very nice place - pictures online are just as it is. Enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. We went to relax and that is what we did. Very clean and has a great shower.

Perfect Overnight Spot!

My husband and I were looking at properties in the area and this was the perfect respite for an overnight stay!! The view from the deck was so serene, we felt miles away even though it was right off the road! Very comfy and clean, thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

Awsome view

Super easy to get in and out of the property. The back deck was awsome and chairs were the best outdoor lawn and deck chairs we have ever had the opportunity to enjoy. I cant think of a single complaint very awsome property we will definitely be back to the wren.

Perfect weekend getaway!

Rental was modern, very clean & had a beautiful view! We fished from right outside our rental (down several steps) & caught fish. It was nice to have the fire table & grill on the deck. We had such a relaxing weekend. I would definitely recommend this rental & hope to visit again.

This cabin checks all the boxes! The View is wonderful, hence the name. We stayed on the deck almost the whole time. It has everything you need and it’s lovely. We will be back !

PERFECT LOCATION

The Wren at View on Grand is a beautiful modern clean property with well thought out details. Closest to the water with Kayaks and paddle boards available to out right in. A great deck with seating and a fire pit makes this property easy to hang out in with nice privacy. . The bathroom is super nice. It has a well stocked kitchen too. We loved Grand Lake and this property! We hope to come back.

This property was perfect for our trip! With one bedroom, a big living room and kitchen area and a spacious bathroom, it was plenty for two people! Access to the property was very easy and the communicated directions were very timely and helpful! The property was clean, neatly organized and beautifully decorated! It's almost in town, everything is within less than 10-minute drive (including Walmart) but it's location on the lake, provides for some much-needed tranquility! I would definitely recommend this property!

What a gem of a cabin! We were very impressed from the beginning of our stay to the end, as we continually discovered more and more special touches that really made our stay enjoyable. Very thoughtful details throughout! Comfy bed, soft sheets, great towels, beautiful dishes and glassware, everything sparkling new. Well thought-out design of the cabin. Thank you for taking the time and putting forth so much effort into this rental!

Long weekend fishing getaway on Grand Lakr

My fiancé and I came down to fish a tournament on Grand Lake. Unfortunately the tourney was canceled due to flooding and debris in the lake but we came down to fish anyway. We stayed in The Wren cabin at the bottom of the hill. We did both, turning the trailer around at the pad at the bottom of the hill as well as turning around up top and backing down around the corner. Both were easily achievable for someone that is experienced in backing a trailer, not something I would recommend for a first timer. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck at the fire table and watching the sun go down over Honey Creek. The other cabins at the top of the hill might be easier for some to park a trailer, but offer slightly less seclusion for your boat. Would stay there again for sure!

Rained on our last evening in the cabin but we enjoyed the view of the Honey Creek Bridge anyway!

Nice place but full of spiders

When we arrived the smell from the trash can outside that was not emptied was horrible so I moved the can as far from the house as possible. When opening the front door the door handle fell off in my hand. When we went in there were a few spiders we had to kill, even worse on the deck was full of them, clearly this place needs to be sprayed for spiders and other bugs. There is no usable beach or shore line, would not stay there again.

We appreciate helpful feedback that enables us to improve our guests experience. Please note we keep a covered trash can that is emptied weekly and kept away from the deck so as not to bother our guests. The set screw on the door knob had come loose so we tightened it. Pest control sprays regularly and often. Spiders exist especially at the lake, however I checked this property immediately after the guest left and there were no spiders or webs to be seen. No other complaints before or after this guest. Grand Lake doesn't have beaches. This cabin sits on a rocky shoreline with a short set of stairs right to the deep waters edge, or guests may enjoy the water views directly from the deck.

Such a beautiful little spot! We stayed in Wren and it was perfect for a little weekend getaway. Easy access, the host was great and the location is just a few minutes to restaurants and the store. The cabin is right on the water and very private. Decorated well and the bed was so comfortable. We appreciated the pots and pans and knives-they weren’t all scratched up or dull. Will absolutely be back for another weekend.
