Dancing Waters - A beautifully renovated house on the shores of Goodyear Lake with amazing sunset views! This property screams water enjoyment from the minute you walk inside. Spectacular views of the water from the kitchen and living area. Multiple levels of decking lead you down to the water, with a covered screened in cabana half way down.

The cabana is complete with dining and lounge furniture. The beautiful midday and afternoon sun dances on the water while you relax and enjoy. Back up at the house there are two 1st floor bedrooms, as well as a lower level King bedroom with access to outside. Tasteful modern décor and furnishings make this destination one you will want to return to year after year.

Less that 20 minutes to all of the area's Youth Baseball Tournaments as well as a very easy drive to Downtown Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. Come enjoy all the comforts of home with all the splendor of the lake and nature at your fingertips.

very busy due to baseball but one of the nicest, cleanest places I have been

The home itself was very clean and very nice. Spectacular views of the lake and area. I must say one comment about the Host/Owner. He was the most graceful and nicest person I have met in a long time. Example my tv remote in the bedroom was not working so after he looked at it he decided instead of finding another remote he bought a new tv, can you beleive it? I asked him if their was a griddle in the kitchen and to my surprise he bought one for me to use. If only the world had more people like this!! I have never been this far up in the mountains before but reat assure if I do this is where I will go!! Thank you Dwight

I wish I hsd more time here!!

This was by far the best house rental experience I have ever had. The house was beautiful! It was so clean and stocked with everything I needed. Dwight, the owner was amazing. He was in touch before checking in and responded quickly to texts when I had questions. The decks out back were stunning! I wish I had more time here.

Five night late summer stay at Dancing Waters

We loved our family time at Dancing Waters. The multiple decks were perfect for enjoying the view of the lake, especially the sunsets. We used the kayaks and swam off the dock. The house was in great condition and Dwight is a wonderful host.

Amazing views and peaceful surroundings! House was clean and well taken care of. Perfect location for our Cooperstown dreams park stay this week! Great place for families! Fish were jumping out of the water! The landscaping and flowers were beautiful!

Great stay with an unbelievable outdoor area

We really enjoyed our stay at Dancing Waters while our son competed at Cooperstown Dreams Park. Dwight met us at check-in and gave us a tour of the house and answered any questions we had, he also provided recommendations of where to eat and activities do with our family. This great location, about 15 minutes from the ball fields, allowed our other children to do many other activities and made it feel like a vacation for everyone. The interior of the house is well maintained and the mini-split units in each room allow everyone to set their own temperature to their liking. Outside on the multi-level decks is just absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed meals either right outside the house on the outdoor table or walked down to the screened in porch right near the water. The kids enjoyed swimming, kayaking and fishing which kept them busy during the week. All in all it was a great experience for our entire family and helped us make the most out of the baseball experience for our son.

Unwind in tranquillity!

Dancing Waters exceeded our expectations! If you enjoy a deck with a view, a screened in porch and plenty of outdoor space to spread out - this is your place! With several decks at different levels, chairs, tables and a dock with a ladder, we had all we needed to enjoy the lake and house. Dwight was incredibly thorough with communication and gave us several recommendations for boat rentals and restaurants. The house was quaint and comfortable, kitchen and living room space provided lots views and we had all we needed to cook and grill out back! Washer and dryer were a great addition - nice little basement space to get laundry done and out of the way of the rest of the house. We would definitely come back!!

Solid choice for Cooperstown Allstar Village

Beautiful location

The view from the house is breathtaking. Dwight was wonderful to work with; anytime I had questions or needed something, he was able to help. The house was very clean and had everything you could need. My daughter (9) and I went swimming in the lake and used the kayaks! There were life vests provided in the screened in porch- which was another beautiful bonus to staying at this house. My son was playing in Cooperstown, and the house was about 15 minutes away. The only negative was there was some construction being done next door. Other than that, perfect stay! We Will be staying here again and have already reccomended Dancing Waters to friends who Will be coming to Cooperstown next year.

Lake living and convenient for Cooperstown ASV

Beautiful views and lots of lakefront decks to enjoy the sunset with a drink in hand. The homeowner is very nice/accommodating and walked us through the property and gave us recommendations for restaurants in the local area. Two kayaks (and lifejackets) provided which was a really fun experience at any time of day. Only a 15-20 minute drive to Cooperstown All Star Village for youth baseball tourney. 3BR house is great for groups up to 6 people.

Perfect for us

The views are breathtaking. The house is clean and inviting. Comfortable beds and furnishings along with a thoughtful and responsive owner. Too good to be true? Not if you stay at Dancing Waters! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and having this beautiful place to come back to after lots of baseball at Dreams Park. Thanks Dwight!

Clean, convenient and beautiful lake view!

Our host Dwight went above and beyond by meeting us at the house, teaching my son how to fish (caught 1 sunfish and 2 bass during our stay) and treating us like family. We used his kayaks on a daily basis. It was the perfect location for my younger son to enjoy nature while attending his older brother's baseball games at Dreams Park. The lake house is located near Adaline with the best homemade ice cream and waffle cones. Lake house has a Keurig coffee machine, iron and washer/dryer. Highly recommend!

Labor Day weekend getaway

We absolutely loved Dancing Waters lake house! The place was wonderful! The five decks overlooking the lake were awesome! The house was so very well equipped, and super clean and beautifully updated. Our host Dwight was very accommodating and super accessible. The house is conveniently located between Cooperstown and Oneonta. Plenty of great restaurants and attractions nearby. But once your see the great views on the decks no need to go anywhere. Kayaks are a wonderful treat. We will definitely return!!

Cooperstown Dreams Park Stay + Family Vacation - Highly recommended!

Our group of 4 (that grew to 6 when children weren't in the barracks at Cooperstown) very much enjoyed our stay. The living quarters were newly renovated and the place was very clean. The real gem of this home is the multi-tiered decking with a beautiful view of Goodyear Lake. We were able to grill out most of our meals or utilize the new appliances indoors. All the things that you would need to cook were already available in the home. The decking also featured a screened in porch where we spent most of our evenings hanging out and watching beautiful sunsets. For Dreams Park attendees, it was about a 15 minute ride away from the facility. Because it was so close, we actually went back to the house between games for relaxation, lunch, etc. For people that enjoy fishing - we caught 7 different species mostly off of the pier or short kayak (2 provided) rides away. As always, fishing ran hot and cold, but never got shut out for an entire day. Other outdoor activities included the ability to rent (they deliver right to your pier!) additional kayaks or stand up paddle boards. I'm sure that they rent other boats, but we didn't need them. If it was windy, there as a short paddle to a cove that is mostly protected from the wind which offered smooth waters. While we did not do it, the owner advised of a hiking/walking path a short distance from the home. Not a complaint, but some things to be aware of: Master bedroom is the bottom level of the home. There is no attached bathroom (2 full baths are both on main level). Master did not have AC, but because it was below ground, it was very comfortable. If the weather was hot (which it wasn't for us), it might become a concern. The home is damp - the owner had multiple dehumidifiers running all the time working to control it. It was white noise for us, so did not impact sleep, but if you are sensitive to sound, it may be a concern. Owner was sensitive to large gatherings and night time noise. If you are looking for a party house - not the place for you.

Cooperstown Dream Park

This was a beautiful property!!! So many upgrades and close to the baseball field. Our only complaint was the next door neighbor was doing construction which was extremely loud for a very peaceful and expensive location. I would definitely rent again.

Heaven on Earth

Communication and check in was great! House and property/deck/pier were amazing! Inside of house was even better than the pictures. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and then some. The view and access to lake were perfect! We will definitely be returning.
