The host is just amazing The accommodation was perfect...on ground floor ..across from pool.. Of course pet friendly..so we both enjoyed it emensley.. I would thoroughly recommend having an away from home experience in this well looked after Condo..the pool was perfect...quiet..very relaxing Looking forward to my next stay without a doubt

Ruth greeted us on arrival and showed us around. Everything was in good working condition. The condo is about 3 blocks from the south end of the business district and we were able to walk to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. The condo was just steps from the pool and hot tubs. The 2 patios are small and we found it more comfortable to sit by the pool. A lot of people with dogs stay here but we didn’t ever hear barking dogs. I don’t think you would want more than 2 adults to stay here- it is small, but about right for 1-2. We would stay here again.

Great location, beautiful pool and dreamy bed

We stayed seven nights at this cozy ground floor condo. The complex is quiet, well maintained and in a prime location for accessing all Palm Springs has to offer. Especially enjoyable was the quiet pool and hot tubs with hummingbirds buzzing around and the unusually comfortable king size bed. The kitchen was well equipped for us and we made daily meals. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Ruth!

Hosts were kind - decorated impeccably. Host met me for walk through but he did not check for cleanliness, nor did he notice the microwave was broken - because the door wouldn’t stay shut the inside light stayed on..He also killed a couple small “bugs” on kitchen counter as we went over paperwork. He commented “we’ve been getting a few small bugs, sorry.” My reply was I come from a desert climate myself and a few small bugs can sometimes be expected. A few, yes. A lot, no. I realized after settling in and trying to use the microwave that it was broken, so immediately messaged hosts but said no need to worry about fixing it for my stay. The purpose of my solo trip was for time alone. Next day, more bugs & realized they’re sugar ants. I had everything in ziploc bags, no open food to attract them. Ants crawling on counters, in the sink, and kitchen floor. By next day I found a lot more coming from baseboards on one of the interior walls. I took care of them, but by the next day more showed up. Looking further, kitchen floor in corners and inside drawers not clean. Messaged host at departure, was told I should’ve told them, they could have sent their bug guy in. Was told they replaced microwave and sent exterminator in. Hopefully nobody else has issues, but do feel hosts should be aware of conditions before guests arrive. Pool and lounge chairs not clean & outdated. Pool crew came, still not great - not inviting.Location is fabulous - easy walk to downtown PS.

A few ants are normal for the desert. A lot is not so I wish you had contacted us the moment it happened and we would have had our bug guy in the same day. He came immediately after your stay and we have not had an issue since. We have replaced the microwave. The condo has been deep cleaned with new carpet and curtains. I normally do the pre inspection myself as well as the meet and greet but I was away at the time. I appreciate you bringing these things to our attention so we could fix them. I just wish it had been sooner so you could have enjoyed your stay.

Oasis in the desert

Adorable condo stocked with all amenities including Pickleball rackets! Lovely, helpful host as were all the folks in the condo. Exceptional communication, organization and cleanliness. There is road noise prevalent in the pool courtyard - but after all our exploring it seems that most condos and hotels border onto several busy roads, so not sure you can find much better. Seems to be the norm in Palm Springs. Trade off was it was perfect location to walk and bike into downtown - which we did several times a day. Enjoyed the heated pool and hot tubs and convenient parking right outside the suite’s patio. Would definitely return.

Cutest little condo in Palm Springs

My stay at this property was SUPERB! I had originally booked a rental through a competitors site and ended up not even being able to get into the building upon check-in. Ruth and Warren were the most amazing hosts. They coordinated my check in flawlessly, and physically helped me check into their condo. The condo was designed with so much thought and care I couldn't have been happier. I was in PS for work, and they had everything I could have possibly needed for a comfortable stay. The condo is precious, and decorated so cute, on top of thoughtful added extras I wouldn't have expected. The bathroom was probably my favorite part after staying in hotels, it was set up perfectly. From the shower stone, to the oversized towels, to the perfect lighting to apply your makeup. I will absolutely be back when I am in town for work. Thank you Ruth and Warren!

Anniversary Getaway

This property was well presented, clean and good location. Overall we enjoyed our stay. A few things I feel I do need to point out, because I feel they make a guest's stay a little more comfortable: No glass is allowed in pool (understandably) so we bought plastic cups. There were only 2 bath towels left out. No accessible linen closet. We did let the host know this and she was willing to deliver more to us. We had already made a target run and purchased a few. Only 2 dishwasher tablets left in bag and 3 kitchen sponges that had seen better days the bathroom had a visibly used shower sponge in the shower stall and a very large cutting board placed on the floor with a anti-skid pad and bathmat on top of it? Coffee maker was only a small 4 cup. My husband and I drove, so whatever we purchased we took home with us. For the guest that is flying...might not enjoy the target shopping. Again, nice condo but as a host, basic necessities need to be stocked to make a guest's stay more enjoyable

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for the feedback! I am so sorry to discover the cleaning team were off their best game as they are usually really fabulous! I have had a word with them about forgetting to leave out the pool towels, extra dishwasher pods, new sponges for the kitchen and shower and will ensure this does not happen again! There was certainly tons of supplies in the unit for them. Our sincere apologies! I so wish you had contacted me to let me know during your stay as I would have gladly come and fixed these issues immediately for you! I'm disappointed that you did not get our usual high service level we normally provide and would have loved to have made that up to you while you were there instead of finding out after you left. The bathmat is a high end Sutera Bath Stone that is highly absorbent and fabulous for soaking up water to ensure the bathroom floor is not slippery for guests. We had a bath mat on top for a more luxurious feel while maintaining safety and a nice underfoot feel! There is plastic wear provided for the outdoor patios and pool area enjoyment as well as a BBQ and seating.

Delightful stay in Palm Springs, California

Perfectly delightful condo/apartment. Mid-Century Modern furnishings ant art, beautifully decorated exactly as shown in photos. Very clean. Worth repeating. Very clean. Bed is large and oh so comfortable (and I’m very particular). Couch is soft and cozy. Two flat screen tvs. Very attractive and utilitarian kitchen a bit small, but didn’t matter as we did not cook during our stay. Bath room was bright, modern and super clean. Loved the shower. Pool and hot tubs LITERALLY right outside the front door of the condo. Used the hot tubs every day. Clean! Laundry only steps away. Host was super friendly, easy to communicate with before, during and after our stay. Provides lots of recommendations for activities in the area, including hiking in the area, and local restaurants. We leaned into Ruth’s suggestions and were happy with all of the ones we chose. Condo was comfortable walking distance from many places to shop and eat. Safe at night. My wife and I are active mid-sixties somethings and we walked or bicycled most of the time. We found Palm Springs a great place to explore and enjoy. From Ruth’s condo, to the general friendliness of people, to very good food, and spectacular places to hike, bike and explore, I couldn’t recommend it more. Would def rent from Ruth again.

The entire experience at this VRBO was above board. My sister and I enjoyed the accommodations and were very pleased with the entire experience. Very clean and comfortable. Our host, Ruth, was very attentive and explained everything in detail. We stayed 3 days and 4 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. I hope to come back, but maybe in October or November when it is not as warm!

My husband and I own a luxury Travel Company that specializes in designing unique vacations for Americans to Australia, New Zealand, Islands of the South Pacific and Africa. In 2011 we purchased this home in Palm Springs because we love it there so much. It inspired me to go back to college and get my Masters in Interior Architecture from UCLA. I am passionate about Mid Century Architecture, Architects and Design. I have attended all Modernism Weeks since 2011 and have been fortunate to meet the late Donald Wexler and Hugh Kaptur. We love the way our home reflects Palm Springs way of life.

We love mid century design, so we have brought out the true character of the condo by furnishing it to reflect the era Palm Springs is famous for.
