Completed in December 2021, Villa Serena is the only brand new luxury home in the exclusive gated community of Las Olas, Dominicalito with 24/7 manned security.

This Front Row, ocean view 5 bedroom 4 bath features over 4,800 sq ft of stunning modern tropical architecture situated on over 1.3 acres of land. We have the largest pool and spa in the area and are a dream destination for adventure seekers and luxury travelers alike.
As you walk through the lush gardens into the covered entry way into the Villa, you will gaze past the living room through the 21 foot open portal and be mesmerized by the turquoise waters of the ocean in front of you. The Villa’s unique front row location offers sunsets that are simply stunning.
The large living room with vaulted ceilings is designed using Bali inspired hand carved Timor wood furniture, a couch and love seat, and a 72” flat screen TV with access to Netflix, Amazon prime TV and NFL Game Pass. Also included is 5G high speed, fiber optic internet throughout the house.

Strolling from room to room, you will notice more vaulted ceilings and tall doorways made of cedar hardwood that mirror the custom-made cabinetry and accents throughout the Villa. The floors are porcelain inside and out.
Prepare meals in the open air, ocean view kitchen by opening the sliding glass doors on one corner and completely opening the folding accordion glass doors on the adjacent corner. You will feel like you are outside. Walk out to barbeque on the brand new Weber Genesis II Grill. Additional features of the kitchen include a large center island with an extra-large stainless sink, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, custom hardwood cedar cabinetry, quartz countertops and a local Guanacaste wood dining table. If you would prefer not to cook, our concierge can arrange a private in-home chef to prepare your meals. The chef is phenomenal and uses local fresh ingredients to provide for an exceptional farm-to-table dining experience.

Step outside into the large outdoor, covered seating area for a spectacular way to enjoy the ocean view, relax, read, practice yoga and enjoy time with family and friends. It is a lovely way to bask in the natural beauty of your surroundings. Turn on the waterfall for a Zen moment or go for a swim in the five foot deep, 42’ x 16’ resort style infinity pool overlooking the ocean while listening to the waves. Imagine lounging by the pool and glancing up to see a humpback whale breaching just beyond the rock formations. Relax and decompress in the 360 degree infinity edge jacuzzi while looking out over the ocean. Enjoy some solitude or invite everyone in the house to join – it easily seats twelve. On the outer edges of the pool is a large grass area for children to play or to work on your perfect tan. Savor evening cocktails as you watch some of the most amazing sunsets our earth has to offer to top off your memorable day in paradise.

Each morning, the jungle will come alive around you - you may see monkeys, toucans, sloths, iguanas and many other types of colorful tropical birds. Approximately 20% of the earth’s species reside in Costa Rica, even though the country represents less than 1% of the earth's land mass. The surrounding jungle is filled with tropical ornamentals including many different types of banana trees. We will have some ready for your stay when they are ripe.
As the night draws to a close, allow the breaking waves to lure you to sleep in one of the three ocean view master bedrooms. The ocean view King bedroom suite is located upstairs with a large indoor sitting area, TV, walk-in closet and large balcony. The bathroom has an ocean view rain shower and two sinks. There are also two ocean view, en-suite King bedrooms on the main level, just steps from the swimming pool and your own outdoor seating area. They both have TVs and double sinks and showers in the bathrooms.
If you prefer the sounds of jungle, there are two additional bedrooms surrounded by the lush rainforest; one extra-large King bedroom with an outdoor seating area that faces the wildlife corridor and gives you a view of the ocean. The fifth bedroom has a Queen bed. This 5 bedroom, 4 bath Villa comfortably sleeps 10 with your choice of air conditioning or fresh ocean air breezes. Each room is very spacious and is furnished with brand new custom-made hardwood beds and night tables. Four of the bedrooms have double bolted, combination safes.

This resort style home is ideally located only a 5 minute drive to some of the area’s best beaches, Poza Azul Waterfall, secluded swimming holes and a variety of fantastic restaurants. Dominicalito translates to little Dominical, and is a small bay just south of Playa Dominical where you can stroll on the beach, swim in the warm water and purchase the catch of the day from local fishermen. The sandy beach is a local favorite for beginners learning to surf and paddle board.
Just a few minutes north is the popular surf town of Dominical where experienced surfers ride. You can spend hours here basking in the sun, watching the surfers, walking on the beach, shopping and eating in the many locally owned establishments. There are a few small grocery stores here with both American and Costa Rican products, including a natural, organic health food store with a multitude of vegan options. A much larger grocery store, BM, is located 15 minutes away in the town of Uvita.
Between the towns you’ll find hidden waterfalls and hiking trails, small ceviche stands, and restaurants on the water. You should also stop at a few of the many "Tico" style sodas (restaurants) that you can find everywhere – the food is great and prices are very reasonable. Drive a bit further to the south and you arrive at the culinary capital of Costa Rica in the eclectic community of Ojochal.

In an effort to maintain the beauty and care of our garden and pool, this villa receives maintenance for both on Mondays and Thursdays. Our crew will try to complete the tasks quickly and efficiently, so that your stay is not interrupted.
