Enjoy the most beautiful beach on the Island! Steps from amazing white sand.

Guests staying at My Blue Heaven are only steps away from the most beautiful secluded beach and crystal clear water found anywhere in the world! The beach is very quiet and family friendly. Our home is conveniently located and is close to all the restaurants, bars, grocery and liquor stores. My Blue Heaven is only 5 minutes from the airport and about 10 minutes from Georgetown. It is perfectly located for those who enjoy getting out and enjoying the island or those wanting to relax at the house and enjoy the miles of pristine beaches.

The house is fully appointed with linens and towels for guests. We have plenty of beach towels and chairs available. Each bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bathroom. The home has a newly renovated and fully stocked kitchen for guests that are wanting to eat at home, sit back and enjoy the beautiful view. Wanting to grill the fresh fish you just caught? Feel free to use the new gas grill on the back veranda.

Things to do: If you are feeling adventurous and would like to explore the beautiful turquoise waters we have two kayaks and a paddle board at the house. If you are looking to jet ski or boat there are rental companies on the island so you can explore on your own. Or if you would like to have friendly local guides show you an amazing day, you can contact Island Boy Adventures. You can call Elvis to take a water taxi to Chat n Chill for lunch and a local favorite: The Goombay Smash. If you are into bone fishing, Exuma has some of the best in the world.

While the waters are absolutely amazing, there is a lot to do on land. The local residents are amazing. With their beautiful smiles and happy go lucky attitudes they will graciously welcome you to their island. There is very little crime on the island, so you can feel safe exploring and enjoying all of the charming restaurants and stores on the island. Be sure to visit the famous straw market where the local merchants sell their goods.

The home also has a laundry room with a new full size washer and dryer. We have additional photos and would be happy to email them upon request.

We had an amazing stay at My Blue Heaven, the most stunning beach. We travelled around the island from tip to tip and honestly we enjoyed our own beach the best which was exactly what we were looking for. Greg had everything you could think of for the kitchen as well as coolers, beach chairs, and towels for the beach. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable, perfect spot for 2 couples You couldn’t get closer to the airport, Georgetown and we had lots of markets and liquor stores to choose from, Smittys was great.The only thing I could say if the loungers had some cushions just because you will be spending a lot of time on the beach would be nice but it’s understandable that maintaining them would be challenging.There was wind and waves for our entire stay in Jan but that meant no bugs so very grateful We truly loved our week here, the most relaxing trip I think I’ve been on, there is nothing to do in the evening on the island so we were happy we had all the amenities we needed right there, we hope to return some day and would definitely stay right here

The beach is beyond beautiful!! The home is perfect for a couple or two. The house had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well equipped and there were chairs, coolers and bags all available to make your day trips around the island comfortable. The host was very responsive when we had questions. 10/10 beach vacation. We’d rent again in a second!

Convenient location near center of the island made travel to Exuma Point all the over to Tropic of Cancer beaches easy. Beautiful sandy beach with plenty of coastline for long walks. Great air conditioning which is not always the case in Exuma! Comfortable beds. Great communication and easy check in.

This property is perfect. The beach is gorgeous and despite all the houses built along queens highway, we rarely saw anyone else on the beach. It was like our own private resort! Fantastic location, less than 10 min from the airport, downtown Georgetown and the fish fry. Super clean. AC works great with units in each bedroom and another for the main area. Paddle boards, kayaks, pool noodles and floaties for guests to use, as well as yeti cups and two yeti coolers for your beach trips! (This was a huge help!) baskets of extras from past guests, including snorkels and masks, bug spray and sunscreen, in case your travel size bottles run out! You can log on to your streaming accounts and there’s lots of puzzles and games for kids and adults! Truly, a spectacular rental. 10/10.

This was our 3rd time in Exuma and 2nd time staying at My Blue Heaven. It is such a charming, clean house that offers everything that you need for a wonderful vacation. It’s centrally located on the island, so you have easy access to just about everything.Our 2nd time there we stayed along the Tropic of Cancer and the entire time we regretted not staying at My Blue Heaven.I would highly recommend staying there and I’m sure that we will again.

Everything and more

The location, house and amenities were exactly as expected and even more. There was nothing missing...coolers, towels, cups, toys and games. The owner was very easy to communicate with and accomodated us when we had to stay an extra day. We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning - You won't be sorry!

Loved the location, cleanliness & amenities of this property. Exactly as described. Check in was a breeze. So close to the airport but surprisingly you don't notice the air traffic. Will absolutely be returning.

Amazing!!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was amazing and just as described. The beach is right out the back doors! The house was lovely, warmly decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our host responded right away when we had an issue (ours - not his!). Highly recommend - you will love it!

Perfect for us

The house was just as described and was outfitted with everything we needed. The plantings flanking the house were perfect for privacy and especially for shelter from the wind (we were there at the end of January and it was windy; plus side was no bugs).Had a hiccup with internet but the owner was easy to communicate with. Pro tip: internet outages are likely so think about a backup plan using your cell phone.Beds were great and the kitchen had everything we needed.Would rent again.

Perfect Location, Extremely Well Stocked!

We loved our stay here. The house was so much more stocked than other places we've rented. We had everything we needed and then some! The children had puzzles and games for the evening which was great. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the view was amazing! We enjoyed morning and evening walks on the beach right outside the door. We missed a connection and therefore were a day late, but communication with both the owner and the on site property manager was great! We definitely plan to be back to this rental in the near future! :) Thank you!!

Ideal quiet getaway

The property is right on a stretch of white sandy beach with crystal clear water. There were other houses nearby but very few people on the beach so it felt like we had the whole 1.5 mile stretch of beach to ourselves! The house was well stocked and comfortable with easy access to nearby restaurants. The owner quickly responded to any questions we had. We’ll be back!

Unbelieveable Beach

The property is located on the most beautiful beach in Exuma - no need to go anywhere else. This home has absolutely everything you need from extra towels, kitchen supplies and beach supplies including snorkel equipment, beach bags and coolers to take with you on your excursions. I can't say enough about the cleanliness of the home and especially the linens - very high quality towels and sheets. All of the recommendations and information provided by the renter were spot on. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful beach property

Beautiful beach property located right in front of the beach. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious rooms ideal for two couples. Close to Georgetown and to the airport. We enjoyed the home very much. We will definitely come again and stay here.:))

My Blue Heaven (previously known as Yellow Bird House) was built in 1993 by Charles Lamb for he and his family to enjoy this beautiful piece of paradise. My wife and I purchased the home from this lovely family in 2016. We have been coming to Exuma for over 18 years. We are hoping to share this amazing island and My Blue Heaven with you. We have two children that absolutely love coming to Exuma. We are sure you will enjoy this beautiful place as much as we do.

Silver Beach on Tar Bay is the best beach with the most beautiful water in all the the Bahamas... according to the Bahamians! We cannot disagree :) The crystal blue waters of the ocean are just steps away. The beach in front of the home is absolutely amazing. The beach is very quiet and there is a very good chance you will have the whole beach to yourself!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The location of the house is perfect. You are right on the most beautiful beach and you are very close to everything. You are only five minutes from the airport and about ten minutes to town. The grocery store, liquor store and bank are all within a ten minute drive. My Blue Heaven is truly a great place to escape to and relax. Even after many trips, the beach and water just outside our back door still takes our breath away.
