The place is clean and in a good location.Shana is responsive and helpful.The main issue was weak WIFI.The provided WiFi does NOT work, the new wifi was weak and turned off the night before we left, meaning there was NO connection that night and until 11am, checkout time, which was a major inconvenience.

Perfect stay

Beautiful view, perfect house and our host, Shana, was checking in on us and very helpful. .House every thing you need for your vacation./visit, clean and well taken care of. Recommend!

Ana's Hidden Gem

Very nice place, pictures do not show size of rooms, . Actually very roomy and bigger then pics depict. Very relaxing, spacious, and functional for comfortable vacationing!! Host was very accomodating and coomunicated through our entire stay. Thank you for an amazing stay!!

Fantastic place

We had a wonderful stay at Anna’s secret gem. Shana was fantastic as property contact and responded very quickly to anything we needed. Property was great and we would go back in a minute.

40th Anniversary

Home was very clean, attractively furnished and well stocked with towels, laundry supplies, coolers, beach chairs and everything we needed. We loved the ocean views and enjoyed our stay there. Shana was great to work with and was always exceptionally prompt in answering any questions we had. We would definitely recommend!

Anna’s Hidden Gem

Quiet location, nice view, renovated interior with very nice tile flooring, led lighting, excellent air conditioning. Owner/ manager excellent in responding to inquiries and follow-up. Our first time to Exuma Island and Bahamas. Recommend this VRBO rental.

Wonderful stay!

Had a great stay at Anna's Hidden Gem with the family. It was a great location to hit all of the beaches and downtown. The manager is very responsive and helpful. There are some nice beaches in the area including coco-plum, but the road to the beach is quite treacherous. The beach near the home is rocky, but it is great for snorkeling at low tide. If you are looking for a relaxing time in a comfortable apartment, this is your place.

Family Vacation

My husband and I visited Exuma in 2022 and fell in love with the island. We wanted to bring the kiddos back to enjoy the beautiful island and friendly people. Anna’s Hidden Gem was perfect for us. Super clean and fit all of our needs. We all had a phenomenal trip! Our flight was delayed and our hosts were kind enough to let us check out late. Highly recommend and would stay again!

We had an exceptional family vacation with much thanks to the great accommodations. We stayed for 8 nights with my two teenagers which gave us plenty of room, hot water and air conditioning. The kitchen is fully functional which we used significantly over the long stay too. The location of the property is literally perfect with it being just minutes from the airport but also located next to one of the world’s best beaches - 3 Sisters Beach. You can walk there which is about 1 mile from the front door or 3 minute car drive. There is another nearly private beach right out the front door which is a short walk. We snorkeled and swam both beaches the entire trip along with trips to others. We have a few committed exercisers and there is quiet road that allows for runners or walkers. Vacationer activity with early morning exercisers up and down the road. I was very appreciative of that since I like outdoor running. Running on main roads isn’t possible.We utilized our location to eat at the many nearby high quality restaurants in addition to the ones at Grand Isle resort. We liked Palapas which was a 7 minute drive and open to anyone. Being centrally located made it easy to run up to exuma water sports for our pigs beach trip and then to Tropic of Cancer Beach or Georgetown. This property is by far the best value on the island. Property management was exceptionally responsive. We can’t wait to return!

Month in Paradise

Shana was an amazing host, she was prompt to answer questions and point us in the right direction on recommendations for the island. The house is spacious with a beautiful ocean view, we thoroughly enjoyed our coffee on the balcony every morning. Each room has a smart tv, which was perfect for our 2 days that the weather was bad and we needed a break from the sun. Anna’s Hidden Gem is a short drive to the airport and to some amazing beaches and restaurants. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful island!

Highly Recommend

We stayed at Anna’s Hidden Gem over Christmas and New Years for 2 weeks. The house is the upper floor with a stunning view off the front deck. The house is bright, clean, new, and furnished well with plenty of new linens, towels, and beach towels too. The quiet beach is a short walk through a rocky treed path that adds to its magic - the kids loved this! The secluded beach is large and has good snorkeling in front! Shana was a wonderful host, always responsive to our questions, and checking in with us to see if we needed anything. When our car rental fell through I reached out to Shanna for suggestions and within a few minutes she had two options lined up for us. Overall, highly recommend this hidden getaway for anyone looking for a quiet & relaxing stay!

Beautiful comfortable property

We enjoyed our stay in this very clean and roomy property. The beach access near the property was not easily accessed by foot and a little treacherous. The sunrises and sunset were beautiful. Make sure you rent a car well in advance of arrival to drive to the beaches and restaurants. Our rental was not available when we arrived so there was a little bit of a scramble to get an available vehicle. Beautiful island. Take a private boat tour to pig island and iguana island. Stocking island beach has great snorkelling. Gorgeous beaches but limited snorkelling from the beach if that is what you are into. The people are so friendly, the food is amazing, and we felt very safe while we were there. Thank you for sharing your property.

Nothing short of Spectacular!

Wow, we had the most wonderful stay at Anna’s Hidden Gem! The house is beautiful and everything inside is brand new. Stunning views of the ocean. Short walk (3 mins maybe) to a beautiful beach that is totally secluded. Amazing coral reef right out front so we snorkeled everyday!! Shana was probably the best VRBO host we have every had. Very responsive and helpful and wanted to make sure we had the best stay. The location itself is very centrally located on the island which we loved. Very close to a convenience store where you could get items for your stay. Liquor store there as well. Loved having a washer dryer as we did laundry almost every day. Beds were comfortable and nice sheets and towels. Kitchen was full with any amenity you could want. We traveled with our 4 young children and felt safe and so comfortable! We enjoyed the short walk to the beach as we saw a birds nest with eggs in it and a few hermit crabs. The beach is spectacular. Will stay here again!!

Great property in a great island.

Home sits above the ocean where you can view it from the upstairs (where the home is located, second story property). The rooms are large and each room has controllable a/c. Washer and dryer did a great job all week. Floors are a nice tile which makes it easy to sweep up the sand you track in. Smart TV’s in each room. Host checked in often, but didn’t have any concerns or needs during our stay. The location is central to the north half of great exuma, located just south of the two large resorts on the island. Now to the good stuff, the water at all the beaches are some of the best I’ve seen in all my travels. This home has access to a rocky trail that leads to a beach they we didn’t share with anyone the entire week. Snorkeling or sunbathing all alone, it’s a really special property in that regard. We visited several beaches throughout the week, went to see the pigs and chat’n chill, all fun, and the property is a convenient launching point for a week of fun in exuma. Renting a car is a must when you visit, and I would highly recommend staying at this property.

This place is amazing and has everything you need for your Exuma beach paradise vacation. I would recommend getting a rental car to enjoy the beautiful island and all of its beauty and beaches fully. Shana is the hostess with the mostest! She is amazing!

Spacious and peaceful

Anna's hidden gem is aptly named. We had a wonderful stay with zero issues. The owner communicated very fast to any of our messages. The house was clean, the kitchen well stocked, we lacked nothing during our stay. It was the perfect place to launch our Exuma adventures. As someone else described, the beach near the house is like your own secluded Oasis. There was never a person there and it was beautiful. A must see for sure. Overall, we would definitely consider Anna's for our next we visit Exuma.

Ideal Island Getaway!

This location is aptly named; it truly IS a hidden gem. The house was well-stocked with the basics, comfortable, clean, and large enough for a group of friends or family to have plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was well-provisioned, and we cooked most meals at home (though there are plenty of great restaurants a short drive away)! The front porch offers a stunning ocean view, and we spent most evenings grilling outside. The beach was perfect, and just a short walk away from the house. Imagine that perfect, abandoned tropical beach that you only see in movies? That was it. Seriously - best beach we've ever been to. The photos do not do it justice. We had the run of the place the whole week we were there! Our host, Shana, communicated with us above and beyond what we'd typically expect from a house rental, which was SO appreciated as we navigated travel during uncertain times! She helped us with all questions about travel documentation, things to do, places to see, and where to rent a car (we'd definitely recommend renting a car). Her ties to the local community really made our experience all the more personal and exceptional. Couple of quick notes: there is a convenience store a short walk away that has water, chips, frozen meats and other essentials along with a liquor store in the same plaza. If you plan on cooking most of your meals it is worthwhile to go to the Exuma Market in George Gown. This is about 15-20 min away by car and has the widest selection we saw on the island for fresh fruit and veggies. Prime Island Meats did, however, have a wider selection of meat and cold cuts. If you are coming from the airport the home is only about 8 min away. We loved our stay at Anna's Hidden Gem, and plan to come again!
